We were not disappointed at all. Upon arriving, there was a musician playing, and they did seat us off to the right so we could not see but could hear still. There is outdoor and indoor seating, but at the time we came it appeared that the outdoor was reserved for an event. We happily sat inside! Having met Jeremy's parents earlier in the day who also recommended his restaurant, and they were just lovely, we had hoped to possibly meet Jeremy too. I wanted to try everything, but we opt on getting a few dishes to share. Our son ordered the filet mignon and they were able to substitute mashed potatoes for fries. Amazing!! The mac & brisket appetizer appeared to be the highlight and specialty and we just had to order it. Every bite was cheeesy and delicious with the brisket very moist. We couldn't go without ordering the Brussels sprouts and it had a twist with ponzu sauce and pineapple. Definitely a different take and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste. Every bite was foodgasmic and I highly recommend!!! I knew coming here that some Yelpers have experienced wavering in quality, so glad we did not experience that at all. As of the date that we came, we understood that the restaurant had been listed for sale, not sure if Jeremy sold it yet or not. I hope not, we plan on coming back this summer!

My daughter's meal was fish and chips and not that great. The prices are high. If you wanna get a steak, it will be $60, thank you. The chairs are hard and it's kind of like a regular restaurant. Feel not the luxurious feel that it was many years ago. Just too pricey for an average restaurant

I want to start this review off by saying I would come back just for the service!!!! Thank you…read morePablo!!!!! From the moment we sat down, the service was next-level. Our server, Pablo I or L (can't remember the initial of his last name) was incredibly attentive without being overbearing--our drinks would get to about half done and he was already there with a refill. That kind of care really stood out and made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The food was good. We had the salmon Cesar salad which was fresh and satisfying, and we also tried the turkey sandwich with fries. It was simple, well done, and hit the spot. For dessert, we hadn't plan on getting anything but Pablo made the cookies sound so amazing we ended up getting the chocolate chip and snickerdoodle. Both equally yummy!!! A perfect way to end the meal. Great service can make or break a place, and this café absolutely nailed it!!!! Friendly, attentive, and genuinely caring--can't wait to come back. Thank you Pablo for such a WONDERFUL experience!

We both really enjoyed it, and when the soup was served, it came with a piece of crunchy Parmesan garlic crostini. The pairing was delicious. I also shared a truffle mushroom pizza with my friend. The pizza came with six slices covered in Alfredo sauce, Asiago, mozzarella and provolone cheese. It was just the right amount of crispy. At the end of our meal, one of the servers gave us two Nordstrom chocolates. There didn't seem to be dedicated servers for each seating area, so we needed to flag down servers as they walked by. Overall, I was surprised by the level of quality of the food inside a store's cafe! I would stop by again the next time that I shop at Nordstrom.

These folks are innovating out on the bleeding edge of using those ingredients you've never heard of to make a drink that you'll never forget. And to top it all off, we had some of the best, most friendly and informative service I've ever had at a speakeasy. This place rocks.

We made a reservation and although we arrived on time, we had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. I agree with some of the other commenters when they say that the revolving fireplace needs some love. It has the look and feel of needing to be updated. Also, for it to be a "speakeasy" vibe, you could hear the loudness of the bar through the walls. It just kind of ruins the facade a little bit. Regardless, we enjoyed the novelty of being slowly admitted to the speakeasy on the opposite side. We were given seats and upon first glance it was a dark lit space with an old fashioned aesthetic. I was surprised to see how casual everyone was dressed- I assumed there was a dress code, but I guess flip flops made the cut ‍. It took a few minutes for our server to attend to us, and when he did you could tell he was slammed. We just didn't get the table side manner one was hoping for an establishment like this. Peeking at their drink menu, I found myself disappointed that much of their options had a lot of sweet or fruit juice ingredients. So, I went for their old fashioned. For the price, it was just okay. Another disappointing moment. In all, it wasn't terrible, but it just isn't worth the hype. Overpriced and mediocre drinks and a seemingly overworked staff didn't make for a memorable experience and ended up not being for us. Glad to have tried it...but look elsewhere if you've actually been to a speakeasy. This just doesn't live up to what it's trying to sell you.
