Very good spot! We were in town for a funeral so we had a large party. E started with some fried appetizers. The battered onion was good but the stars were the fried pickles and mushrooms. Gator bites were good also. Unfortunately, it was out of crawfish season so most of us went with the blue point crab and shrimp. You have a choice of heat level. We went with "spicy" second to the hottest and it was very good. The crab and shrimp were both cooked perfect! Many times the shrimp gets overcooked in a boil but these were PERFECT! My uncle got the seafood gumbo and raves about it! On top of the food, the service was on point. Anything we could want was brought before we could ask. Make sure to grab some of the garlic hot sauce to take home with you. Not super spicy but amazing flavor. I definitely recommend coming here. read more

I had fried oysters. Gross. It was a fist size ball of flour with a little oyster. A small oyster is fine but not in a huge chunk of fried flour. They told us at the campground that it was crawfish season and one of the best places to eat them was across the interstate at Cajun Claws. Off we went. It is a large place, but we were seated immediately and our server was very attentive. My wife is not into crawfish, so she had a Chicken Po-Boy with a side of hushpuppies, which she really liked. Wow! Ate the Off the Chane Shrimp appetizer and didn't want to swallow it!!!! The Mimi's eggplant with etouffee and the Claws sub with gravy was absolutely one of the best things I have put in my mouth! Other people at the table had the Claws bloom and fried eggplant with Off the Chane sauce for appetizer and it was the bomb. Licked the plate clean. The desserts were divine too! We went through drive thru so many the customer service is worse. Anytime we asked the employee any questions about the food she would just stare at us and not answer, even after we asked multiple times. I requested tar tar sauce twice to make sure she got the simple request, when she handed me the order, I asked if the tar tar sauce was in there and she said "yes". I checked and there was absolutely no sauce in the bag/box at all. We had to park in the front of the store and walk in just to ask for it again.
