I always feel confident in the advice she gives for treatments and products to keep my skin looking it's best. Being an aesthetician isn't just a job for her, it's evident she loves what she does. Whoa, whoa, whoa! Madison, ladies and gents--how am I the first one to review this gem of a…read moreprovider of aesthetic services?! Now, I will admit that my review is a tad limited since I only frequent the downstairs (?) non-surgical part of the clinic but if you are a purveyor of facial services, you need to check out Faces! I'm a huge fan of dermaplane--you can see results immediately as it removes hair and dead skin from the face. I've had this service done at a few places in the Jackson area and can confidently say that Faces, specifically Ms. Marilyn, provides you with the most thorough treatment. She is so unbelievably thorough! She is the only person who has changed the dermaplane blade 2-3 times during my session--I'm Indian, I have a lot of hair, and so, it's expected that the blade would need to be changed and she is the ONLY PERSON in the Jackson area who delivers such extensive and precise service. Oh, and the price is so reasonable for the attention you receive. My sister sees Leta for hydrofacials. I opted for the hydrofacial once and felt that my skin was immediately hydrated and she helped my breakouts calm down. She is just as thorough and dedicated to making your skin glow as Ms. Marilyn! With all the contouring, bronzing, eyebrow filling that's trending, you definitely need to check these ladies out to make sure your 'canvas' of a face is well prepped!

So... Although I was initially racked with nerves, my first brow threading in Mississippi was an…read moreEPIC ordeal! The mall closed at 9pm, and after consulting the mall's information board, I made it into Sandeep's chair at 8:43pm. (I know, not a great start.) I was truly embarrassed that I barely beat closing time, she was exhausted (I could see it on her face and she confirmed it), but I needed her... BAD! She pushed through, and even joked with me about the horrific state of my brows. Her work was fabulous, and because I still felt bad about closing time, I kinda' tried to rush her! She showed me my brows, they were perfect and I quickly sat up to leave, she practically pushed me back down! Sandeep proceeded to trim my brows with scissors. (Oh yeah, forgot that part! Great!) She showed me again, they were even more perfect, and I sat up again. She pushed me back down again and whips out a bow stencil, brow brush, and shadow. I reply, "Thank you, but that's really not necessary. It's late and I'm just going home to wash my face." Sandeep smiles, taps my shoulder (cue for me to shut up and lie down), and fills my brows in anyway. My brows were camera ready when I left. Who does that past closing time? I'll tell you who... friggin' Sandeep. That's who! Because of this epic introduction, she's my Mississippi brow girl from this day forward! P.S. My mother-in-law, who was with me watching from the waiting area, is now a fan also and can't wait to come back to Sandeep for her first threading! What a win tonight Sandi! You've won our hearts!

My brows are amazing! I've never had my brows threaded but I'll definitely be back a million times…read moreover! She was quick and precise. Even took me in close to closing. My BROWS have never looked this good.

I've been going here for over a year and haven't had any problems until the last few visits. I was…read moreprescribed a med I was allergic to, it was in my chart that I was allergic to it, I disclosed it, but because they prescribed a variation of a medication that I'm allergic to, I wasn't familiar with the name. Luckily my pharmacy caught the mistake. I was not mad and was going to let it go. Come next visit, it felt as if I am getting lectured and blamed about how I should have known the variations of the medication that I'm allergic to. There are so many, that it is not possible for me as a patient to know that. That is what patient charts are for, right? I told her she made me feel blamed for their mistake, and I got an insincere "I'm sorry. " and rushed out of the appointment. It upset me and felt unprofessional. I decided to go back another appointment to see Dr Price since he was new for me. I told him that what happened made me feel blamed as a patient, and I don't think that should happen. Again, my concerns felt unheard and swept under the rug. I have never had a facility make me feel so uncomfortable, honestly. For example, when my cyst was being removed and my pants were down, people who I didn't know, apparently it was a nurse, just walked into the room while I was exposed and had a conversation with the doctor about things completely unrelated to work. While I was being stitched. I felt uncomfortable and I think it was obvious. Another example is for my most recent, and last, appointment which was today. I asked him a question about the acne on my face. He brought up how his 16 year old daughter struggles with acne, but "she's skinny, so it's not hormonal. " What? This is after he suggested to me my acne could be hormonal. Do you see what I'm saying.. overall don't recommend and won't be back.
