Stacey has been blessing my life (and my taste buds) for years with her cakes and adorable promos. But this year, I decided to level up. Enter the Charcakerie. Yes, you read that right. Char. Cake. Erie. It's exactly what it sounds like. A charcuterie-style spread of cake, icing, fillings, and all the toppings you need to create a choose-your-own-adventure dessert experience. Think cake cubes and creative chaos all rolled into one magical sugar session. I ordered the small board since it was just me and the fam, not a full-on party. Honestly, it was perfect. Tasty, playful, and hands down one of the most fun and memorable birthday treats I've had in years. And of course, Stacey was a dream to work with, as always. Friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about bringing sweetness and sprinkles into people's lives. I can't recommend her enough if you're in need of a custom treat, a celebration centerpiece, or just a little sugar for your soul. I needed to order a cake for my brother's birthday, so this episode came at a very convenient time. Listening to Stacey talk about her baking passion is really what made me excited to get a cake from her - anyone who is this excited about their work must take enormous pride in it. And I'm so glad I did! She has such a huge list of flavors to choose from and all of them seriously sounded so good, especially the OG buttered marshmallow cake and all the happy hour cakes, but I went with a 6 inch 3 layer cinnamon crunch to appease all of the partygoers. Ordering the cake was super simple - you fill out an order form online and then Stacey gets back to you with the confirmation and ways to pay. I wanted to pay with credit card, so I called Stacey and she was genuinely so kind and helpful, it made me even more excited! The pickup was a breeze - just follow the instructions she sends you. The cake looked and tasted great! The buttercream frosting is a lighter, airier version of the traditional. My family also very much enjoyed the cake and my brother was very happy! My personal favorite is their strawberry buttercream frosting it's one of those things I always end up asking for when we order a cake. I also really like that you can mix and match flavors and especially the fillings between the layers. It makes each cake feel a bit more custom and not just standard birthday cake. Everyone there has always been super friendly and welcoming every time we go in which makes it an easy experience overall. My daughter is especially into their cupcakes when the Oreo ones are in rotation she gets super excited and that's usually what we end up leaving with. Just a solid place we keep going back to because the cakes are consistently good and it feels like they actually care about what they're making.

Recently attended a wedding that had a Butterfly Bakery wedding cake and macarons…read more I was blown away by the cake- it was a gorgeous, three-tiered, heart-shaped cake with three flavors: classic wedding cake, carrot and red velvet. Each flavor was decadent and delicious- coated in a sweet buttercream frosting, yum yum! The macarons were equally delicious! They were soft and the cream was airy and flavorful. My favorite was the chocolate- so good. The colors were also so cute. The pastels really complimented the vibe for the wedding. I heard that the service was amazing, too! I was overwhelmed and spoilt for choice looking at the display case and I appreciate that I was given the time to fully explore and let my mouth water adequately.
