    Chicken stirfry the lighter fair
    Pam S.

Food options are really good for breakfast or lunch. I ordered their chicken stirfry lighter fare. I thought the chicken was very thin, not much to it, and there were plenty of vegetables with rice. It was flavorful and light. It came with a choice of muffin or dinner roll, which I got blueberry muffin. That is very moist and yummy!!! Our service was quick and friendly. Before you leave at the counter is fresh baked desserts to go! They also have some handcraft items for sale.

This was a great no frills brunch spot, with a HUGE menu to choose from! Their bakery is excellent, and I loved my meal. Nothing spectacular, but a good and large sized brunch. Our server did a good job, despite the place being packed--we were lucky to get a 4 top with a 10 minute wait on Saturday at 10am. My only complaint is the cost of my meal--$30 (including tip) as I was charged an extra $4 for the eggs I was subbing for hashbrowns, and $1.50 for blueberry instead of plain pancakes. This isn't a huge deal but the server could have mentioned that subbing eggs for hashbrowns is $4 when they are the same price on the menu so I assumed it didn't come with a cost (same with the pancake prices). Just something to know if you stop in, but I would definitely come back and just order differently!

I've been coming here since I was little so I probably have a bit of nostalgia bias. Don't expect anything special & gourmet from here, but the food will satisfy. It usually gets pretty loud in here, and the service can be average. But the food typically comes out fast. The main events here are the cinnamon roll (one of my favorite cinnamon rolls around), AND the coffee! There are so many coffee flavors to choose from, and they have pumpkin all year round (YAY!). The coffee also has a drive thru, and, in my opinion, it is very underrated.

Summer kitchen is an easy going brunch spot with a HUGE menu great for a big group of picky people!! Everything is pretty much what you would expect from a sit down breakfast joint. I didn't love the hollandaise sauce definitely tastes store bought but the chicken fried steak was crispy and the gravy was very good! We also got a pecan sticky roll on our way out from the bakery section that was to die for!!! Service was fine.

Pink Teddy Bear Made By Hand

The service was fantastic and the food was absolutely on point! On top of that, one of the employees made a **pink teddy bear** for my little niece, and she was over the moon about it. It's not every day you find a place where the staff goes out of their way to create something so thoughtful and special. If you're looking for a gift made with love--or just a great meal in a warm, welcoming atmosphere--**this is the place**. I love it here and will definitely be back!

Brunch was "ok" service was not what I'm used to but Dean loves his "pancake sammich" ..that never disappoints ...my quiche was just "ok" the crust was a bit undercooked ...the soup was not minestrone..it was more like vegetable noodle..it was hard to finish ..COFFEE was nice and HOT...muffin was fresh and good size ...I took quiche home to cook it longer...it's kind of hit or miss spot.Great location to get us out of the cold for a while when you're out and about.

this is a terrible display of a chef salad including the contents. & the salad actually looks larger in the picture.

$17.00 for a jr chef salad - where's the cheese, where's the egg where's the meat - I could have done this better at home. And 3.00 for 12 oz soda would have NEVER got it! I call this a dinner salad!!! Just really disappointed, this was my splurge, was hoping for a nice fresh put together with good content. My bad knowing ordering salads out is a very bad idea!

Wow! What a great lil brunch spot. Great service and plenty of room... think of a large diner. As with most dinner, the portions are large and relatively inexpensive. Wife has a sweet tooth, she found her happy place with a JUMBO cinnamon roll. definitely will return.

We showed up around 6:30 with a party of 4 expecting to wait for a table, but were seated right away because we were the only table in the restaurant at that time. We quickly learned why. Waiter was awkward and inattentive. We had to ask several times for our drinks to be refilled. The mahi mahi was delicious, but sides were lacking. Flavorless rice pilaf and Brussels sprouts that were at the same time undercooked and burned. French dip sandwich had good beef and cheese, but the dipping sauce was odd and lacked flavor. Burger was dry and overcooked. Ordered a lime margarita, and when all the other drinks were delivered except that one, the waiter said it was because they were out of lemonade - when delivered, the "lime margarita" was lemonade and tequila. We ordered cheese nachos later to our room, along with their "bread service" and cheesecake. The nachos didn't have anything on them resembling cheese - it's supposed to have a black bean and corn salsa, but it seemed like a corn chowder with black beans added in; they were just gross. The bread is just a couple of hard rolls and cold butter packets. The cheesecake was absolutely delicious, but I'm so sad to have wasted the money and the delivery fee on the rest of it. Between when we arrived and when we left around 7:30, we were one of three tables being served in the whole restaurant. On a Saturday night. Food and service are definitely not worth it.

The first day I ordered steak with sweet potato fries. The steak needed flavor and the sweet potato fries were decent. I did try honey mustard with the fries and it was surprisingly good. These are items we have enjoyed in the past, so we figured on a win. The burger, fries, and mac and cheese seemed very salty to us. I brought the leftover mac home, figuring on dividing it into to smaller portions for two meals. Bookguy didn't finish his burger or fries due to salt. His salad was pretty standard. I think I will be awhile before we come here again.

The restaurant was quickly filled by trivia contestants. We sat at a table, to see the folks giving out questions. The booths make viewing difficult. Next time we'll try a booth, as they look more comfortable. Service started out sparse. That poor woman was already slim, and the volume of people, with just one waitress, guaranteed she'd be slimmer by end of night. They got it together and provided some help for her for serving. The staff was good, friendly and enjoyable. I expect that someone was missing that day, as it seemed unusual for the lone waitress. She was even kind enough to apologize to us and ask for patience. That was something I appreciated. The did give us everything we ordered and it was all good, both food and drinks. Not too memorable, but good. The location has immensely high ceilings with movie posters on them. A giant fan keeps the air moving. It was a good and useful appearance. One I appreciated. Parking was easy. Being attached to Alamo Drafthouse, one could find that difficult, but fortunately. The lot is huge, facing north and wrapping around the east side. Trivia was fun. While we didn't do as well as the rest of the mob, we had fun! That, diligent service, reasonable eats and drinks, and easy parking made it an event we will likely attend again.
