This cupcake shop in Scottsdale is conveniently placed on the corner of a strip mall near the canal and FedEx. There's plenty of parking behind the storefronts and to the side of the shop. There's also a very cute "cupcake ATM" on the side of the building so you can grab n go without having to enter the store. I've been in a few times after work to bring home a 6-pack of cupcakes to the family. They usually have around ten flavors to choose from. Two are gluten free and one is a vegan option. Service is always friendly and pleasant. I used Apple Pay this last visit and just tapped my phone to pay. Tipping is optional. They have other treats like seasonal cookies and brownies, and pre wrapped treats at the counter. There isn't much for dining in the shop. It's mostly a takeout design. Cupcakes come in a sturdy cardboard carry case with a paper bag for carrying with ease. These cupcakes are a little pricey with my 6-pack coming in around ~$30ish. They do have a large amount of the good kind of frosting on top of each cupcake. I'm a frosting girl so I think they're very good. read more

I think the cupcake consistency could be described as a firm banana bread firmness. The little dot on top didn't have any flavor. Atmosphere - No strange or strong odors or smells. No music playing when I visited. I liked that. I prefer no music over loud music. I don't like loud music. It's hard to hear with loud music. No seating or tables, just a pick up location. They have a cupcake vending machine attached to the outside of the building. Service - There were about two employees. The service here was quick. Order and pay at the counter. Parking - Surface parking lot. Limited parking shared with other stores. No parking meter or parking structures. Unique - Maybe not so unique anymore, but they have the cupcake vending machine. I got the strawberry and the dark chocolate cupcake through the atm, so cannot comment on the service this time. The cupcakes are really cute and neat and perfectly sized. When you just need a little pick me up (or your free birthday treat), a Sprinkles cupcake is a sure thing!! Chocolate Marshmallow and S'Mores are my go-to!!! I am only showing the chocolate marshmallow, because both cupcakes were not properly put in the holders in the box and subsequently the s'mores got totally smashed when the person closed the box and the top came off the chocolate one, but I was able to put it back on for the picture. My drive to Sprinkles is about 40 minutes each way but when I need to get something special for any special occasion, it's gonna be Sprinkles and I'll tell you why. They list all their ingredients which is very important to me as I have systemic nickel allergy so I cannot have soybean oil which is basically vegetable oil in my food/dessert and most of their cupcakes do not contain soybean oil which is very exciting to me. Also they make their cupcakes fresh everyday without using preservatives so that's definitely a plus for me. Guys you gotta try out their LIMITED EDITION Berries & Cream. It's super moist, not overly sweet, and the blueberry pie filing was bursting with flavors. The lilac sugar crystals went perfectly with all the other components. It's only available till 4/14. If you're a fan of cinnamon you have to try their triple cinnamon, it's really good. Cinnamon cream is sweet but goes really well with the lightly spiced buttermilk cupcake. Their website for ordering online is so convenient and user friendly. Pictures and descriptions of each cupcake/sweets are definitely true to what you actually get in person. They also have cupcakes now for those that have fur-babies and love to celebrate them. People like to say Sprinkles has the best cupcakes ever...but it's definitely all personal preference. Got the sweetest (literally lol) delivery from a dear friend. It had an assortment of cupcakes. These were the flavors from my least to most fave: Lemon blueberry Salted caramel Pumpkin Red velvet Black and white Strawberry Enjoyed that all the cakes were so soft and moist. For some reason the red velvet fell apart though when eating so it was a bit too soft. If you like frosting, this is for you. They were all wayyy too sweet and I felt a bit sick after taking a few bites after taking off about half the frosting from each cupcake lol. The strawberry flavor was a nice surprise as it had a nice hint of strawberry and was the least sweet out of all of them (although that's not saying much haha) Def recommend if you like frosting and very sweet cupcakes, otherwise, feel free to skip. I happened to see this shop on the way back to the hotel and I was very intrigued and excited to see the cupcake ATM outside. This is the first time I have seen one in real life! Their style of icing is more of a rounded muffin top than piping. It wasn't super thick either, just a good amount and mine was rolled in little chocolate shavings. Daaaaang! They put it in a small brown paper bag, but it has a cardboard holder at the bottom so your cupcake won't shift! I am so sad I couldn't take some back home with me. But, the cupcakes that were sold out on at the counter they had inside the vending machine which made me happy... Sprinkles has a big selection of cupcakes and multiple locations.. The cupcakes always taste fresh and are delicious... But they only bake a certain amount per day, so once they sell out that's it.. Late night fix! Got my holiday flavors! Whenever I'm in town I'm here! We got our Holiday cupcakes for Christmas so our table looked so beautiful! Gingerbread was my fav! We decided to do a Sprinkles ATM run late one night as we craved something sweet. Easy parking right outside and the ATM is straightforward to use too. $5 per cupcake is a bit steep but worth it for the novelty. We chose the double choc which was our fave and the vanilla choc which wasn't as good. Both were a little dry unfortunately, but still satisfied a late night sweet tooth attack.
