Such yummy cupcakes! Today was my 4th time coming in. It is a bit far for me, but definitely worth the drive. Out of all the times I've gone, I would say today was my favorite due to the service I received. It was a lovely young lady helping us out today. She was very cheerful and helpful. I finally had the opportunity to try this bakery! I have been wanting to try it for a while now. I'm always in the area when they're closed. Someone I knew worked here for a bit and kept posting cupcakes on their social media. They offer a large variety of cupcakes, cookies, brownies, other sweets. Some gluten free options as well. I did not see any charcuterie out, I'm not sure if you specially order that, or if they prep it in the back or something. I got 2 cupcakes, and they are divine. I love coconut and the chocolate coconut cupcakes is very decedent. If you're not a major fan of chocolate and or coconut, I don't think you'll like this one. The coconut filling definitely makes it tastes like German chocolate cake. The top layer of chocolate was sweet. I did have to put it down after a couple of bites. The baklava cupcake was perfection. It's not too sweet and the perfect amount of nutty. These two I tried are limited time, I forget if he said if they did weekly or monthly rotations. If you get the chance you 10/10 should try them! This is a cute little bakery and I do love going to local bakeries. This cupcake was I believe 5.50 and I felt that was very reasonable. They had several options in the case. But I chose this one. The lady who helped me was very nice too. This cupcake is supposed to be strawberry and crème but personally I felt the only strawberry and crème part was the frosting. The cupcake had some delicious actual strawberries under the frosting on the cupcake. The cupcake was moist however I wasn't sure what the actual cupcake flavor was of the cake part. It didn't taste like vanilla personally or really strawberry like. I thought I tasted maybe like artificial dye or strawberry flavoring? Not sure. I know strawberry can be a hard flavor to work in since it's very subtle. However the only strawberry part I tasted was the ones under the frosting. And that's about it. I love details like that. Service was fantastic, she was very well versed in the products and explained what was in them for the items I asked about. She even told me which one she was going to eat after work. My kiddos and I were indecisive as usual when it comes to a lot of sweets. So we grabbed 2 mocha cupcakes, a peanut butter cup cupcake and a mango Chardonnay, a lemon crinkle, 3 cherry shortbread popems and 3 chocolate chip popems. I tasted the peanut butter cup and it has peanut butter in the middle. Yum. It's not crazy sweet, good balance. The mango Chardonnay was the it girl of my sweet purchases today. There's a little mango Chardonnay pipette to add to the moist cupcake, it was filled with like a mango coulis, smooth buttercream and topped with mango. I took a bite and was like whoa. Buy all of these if you love mango. The lemon crinkle could have had a little more lemon flavor, like some lemon oil or lemon zest in there, but the flavor itself wasn't bad, it was like the lemon was too subtle for me. Cherry popem was sweet and bright, the cherry flavor was in your face without being the only thing you taste. Good texture and flavor with the shortbread, nice compliment to each other. Wish I bought more. The chocolate chip popems are tender, full of chocolate chips, and sprinkles. Yassss. Just know the parking lot is a bit small. The treats are sweet, sparkly and taste delish. I took the "let's try one of everything" approach, and it seemed to be a successful one because we were delivered a box with wonderfully well-secured baked goods inside. The red velvet cupcake was my favorite, although there was a lot of fanfare for the "slutty" brownie (bakery's words, not mine). The cookies are a little on the harder side, so if you like a soft Crumbl-type cookie, this is not going to be that--so keep your expectations tempered. If I ordered again, I would go more for the baked cupcakes, as they were moist and delicious! Dos Chris' Bakery & Charcuterie Co. opened their permanent shop at 16th Street and Bethany Home a couple of years ago. I love this area of town and enjoyed visiting their store. I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Dos Chris' Bakery has a nice variety of cupcakes to choose from in their display window. I picked up some Arizona Diamondback themed cupcakes awhile back to celebrate their World Series run. I also got some fun Halloween cupcakes to celebrate the Fall season. Dos Chris' Bakery & Charcuterie Co. also specializes in charcuterie boards filled with meats, fruits and cheeses. I took an online charcuterie class during the pandemic and gained a new appreciation in the art of making a beautiful charcuterie board. I have seen pictures of the ones that they put together here. I would give this bakery six stars if I could. They really do live up to their motto, "Leave a little sparkle wherever you go." The owners and staff are all very kind, very helpful, and very sparkly! This shop is close to my work, so I stumbled upon it almost a year ago and have been back regularly since. The shop is darling and small and modern but sparkly. The staff are the real gems. Quick story: I took my four year old in and she has a little routine where she asks everyone's names in new places. It can feel lengthy if you're pressed for time or if someone is annoyed by it. On the day in question she was having a challenging, Peak 4 YO day, but they were all kind and patient with her, and took the time to talk with her and answer all her questions. It was really touching, and I was so grateful for the interaction that helped put us back on track after what had been a harder day. Back to the food: The flavors are all unmatched, and so creative! The Slutty Brownie and the Potato Chip Chocolate Chip Cookie are my stand-bys, while I always take home some mini-rainbow chocolate chip cookies for my kids. *This week only* (1/14/25) they have the viral Dubai chocolate and it really, decadently lives up to the hype. Ok so I've been following on IG for forever, the charcuterie layout videos are very calming. It was amazing in person, I mean there is glitter and sparkle and joy everywhere! The owners were both great and so was the employee, I'm now getting sparkle points thanks to signing up for the loyalty program. I still love Urban Cookies but Dos Chris has so many new innovative flavors which is more my thing. The cupcakes are also slightly larger so more easily split, not that you'll want to, they're truly amazing. Did I mention the glitter, everything had a subtle but amazing amount of sparkle to show just how special it was. I had the Cupcakecuterie, which is a barely sweet buttermilk cake with charcuterie toppings, it's seriously amazing and the Honey Mascarapone, which was perfectly balanced. Stopped in when I was in the area. The spot is easy to find, clean and service was great. I grabbed 3 different cookies and all 3 were soft and SPARKLY!! Yes, there is glitter on their cookies and I loved it. Of all 3 my favorite was the sea salt oatmeal coconut.
