ProFix was very responsive when I was inquiring about their services, they offered a competitive quote, and scheduling was very straightforward. They came out today, did the inspection, and as suspected there were a bunch of issues that made the fireplace unusable - including cracks in the fireplace, not-fire safe paint, a missing cap, flue, and a hole in the base of the fireplace that shouldn't have been there. They explained everything to us in detail, gave us a quote and got started on the work right away. Afterwards, gave us a really great walkthrough of the work and explained how to best use the fireplace moving forward. They were also respectful of our home and cleaned up after themselves. I recently contacted EA cleaning for what I thoght would be routine duct cleaning. When they…read morearrived they were very professional and started the dryer vent cleaning and they immediately noticed something strange. They asked to go to the crawlspace and noticed that my vent was not up to code and that it was disconnected, which spewed lint all over the crawlspace. They offered to fix it, which I agreed to. They spent a a significant time trying to fix it and even had to replace the dryer connection and down pipe from the wall due to the nature of the joists underneath. Really appreciate Eric and the team's hard work. I'll definitely be using them for my future dryer vent cleaning now that I have a nice up to code exhaust vent.
