At 12:10 Mahmoud arrived at my door. Very presentable and professional. Basically spent over an hour with our dryer examining everything, taking it apart, and determined that the drive motor was at fault (8 yr old unit). It's too bad these "modern" units don't last decades like the ones we grew up with, but that's a different issue. Mahmoud informed us of the estimate to fix, and basically it's about as much as a new unit. So I went onto Costco.com and bought a new dryer. Mahmoud charged the $65 inspection fee, and I believe it was worth every bit, especially since he spent probably 90 minutes of his time here. It's good to know that these professionals exist and if we ever have issues with our other appliances, I'll know who to call first. Thanks!
