My wife and I moved into a 70 year old house on a hill. The previous owners had done quite a bit of…read morework - french drain, waterproofing the basement, 3 sump pumps, steel beam reinforced walls - but we spotted some water along the basement wall. Tim came out to look at that and a bunch of other stuff (future work), and gave us a plan to resolve the immediate issues. On the inside, his guys came out and jackhammered along our foundation, installed a new system to collect and direct any water seeping through the wall to our existing sump pump discharge line, and laid new concrete. They even worked around a bit of a curveball without needing to deviate from the estimate. Outside, they dug a 22-ft trench and installed a french drain to alleviate the hydrostatic pressure on the basement wall, routed our HVAC condensate line into the french drain, installed 2 new window wells which allowed them to grade the yard away from the house, and installed another french drain on the far end of the garden to help mitigate the flash flooding we experience there. They finished up by laying fescue sod over the affected area, making it look nice and clean. All of the work was done in two days, with some minor cleanup work on the 3rd day after the concrete had cured in the basement. The price was good, the guys worked hard, the work was done on time, and the final product was excellent. We will be using them again for our retaining walls, landscaping, and whatever else comes our way.

The next day he sent a simple and clear (as well as reasonably priced) proposal back to me. As soon as I signed it, we determined a date for the work to be done. The 2-man team that came to perform the work was on time, efficient, polite, and did a great job. They took good safety precautions (both for our yard and for themselves.) They also left the yard looking cleaner than when they found it! They were great and our trimmed tree is happy and healthy -- and better off for the work they performed. My only note is that if you live in a rowhouse like ours or a downtown neighborhood with crummy parking, when you are making the appointment, ask the person to write down that a smaller truck is needed. Imagine my surprise when our neighbor on the other side hired them before we did and you can't even tell where the trees were. Didn't damage grass, no debris left behind, and was finished removing one large oak and four smaller trees by three. Incredible. I finally decided to get an estimate on numerous trees and the gentleman came out immediately and priced out each tree separately so we could pick ala carte what we preferred and stayed within budget.
