I did order in fall, and the windows as promised ready in the 6-8 week time frame. We were in a deep freeze at that time. I didn't want to do the install until nicer weather. At this time the windows were installed. All 18 casements, bay window and sliding glass door. I couldn't be happier with the 2 day install for windows and flashing that they replaced throughout the outside of the house. The price was extremely reasonable for the amount of windows and work that was done, and lower then all the competition that had different sales pitches but I got windows for what I wanted not what was pushed to sell! In 2022, I got two bedroom windows (see previous review) and then this week, I got a new sliding patio door/backdoor and a kitchen window (awning style). I received three quotes for the sliding glass door. Andersen quoted me at $6,800 (of course, it was $9,700 but then their magical discounts brought it into the high 6's) and Power quoted me at $5,800 (of course, if I signed RIGHT THEN AND THERE, it would be $5,100 only). They also both told me that it would be 7-10 weeks for install. Window World quoted me at around $4,000 for the door and within 3 weeks of putting down a deposit, I had a new door and window. The door is perfect and has built-in blinds that open/shut and raise/lower. The window is gorgeous - I took their recommendations and went with the awning-style window instead of one that goes up and down (they called this Double Hung). Absolutely fantastic service from Bill and Matt, as well. The installation took about 3 hours and was done perfectly.

They worked around Decembers rain and snow and frigid temps to get the repair completed before Christmas. After the snow melted in March we discovered a 1 foot drop in the soil they had fill back into our 8 foot hole. And the membrane had separated. They were very prompt in fixing it to perfection. I hired with this company ONCE back in 2014 for a chimney cleaning, and post-cleaning they recommended additional services that, upon reviewing with a 2nd chimney professional - was not needed. Their sales system was basically providing the offer of a "low cost" chimney cleaning, as a segue for more upsells. Since then, they've CONSTANTLY pestered me year after year with sales calls / offers for chimney cleaning since they are "in my area." I've asked them again and again to REMOVE my number from their list - but they won't listen, so I've reported them now to the FTC since my number is on the DO NOT CALL list. Sorry, but any contractor worth his salt is always busy and doesn't need to drum up business (Hint: I manage 7 doors locally and over 40+ units now / over 100+ at the height of my holdings - every great pro I know is booked weeks / months out). Exercise EXTREME CAUTION taking any of these 'professionals' advice / services. **UPDATE: They called me again today Aug 22, 2022 - so I will be seeking counsel for further action since this is a clear violation **

When it was time to pick our flooring, my husband and I went looking for a floor in our given price range. We went to Home Depot and Floor and Decor and picked out flooring that we liked. Alexis kept telling us that she had a place for us to pick out flooring and kept avoiding talking about flooring we like from other companies. Since we were into the project for approximately 8 months already due to COVID, we decided to go with her contact. We wound up picking a floor with their contact, but we're concerned about how thin the flooring was since it was going over tile that was under our original pergo We were told not to worry about it and that they would make sure that everything was done right. About a month after install, the floor started buckling. We callEd All Island to ask Jay, the owner to come take a look at the floor. He said it would cost us $7,000 to redo the floor. We explained that we had reservations about putting this thin floor in, given our circumstances and that Alexis assured us that it would be fine and they'd take care of it. Jay told us flat out that he would replace it for another $7,000. Since then the floor has been separating in many places and even sticking up. We cut our feet on it and my husband had to tape it down. Since we only looked at samples and don't know the company they got this floor from, we have no warranty on it and have to redo the entire floor ( in four rooms of my home) costing us $9,000 more only four years later. The reason we waited these few years was because we knew it was going to cost a lot to redo this floor. Now we are in the process of getting it done right at a big cost. Home Depot professions said they don't even sell less than 8mm thick flooring, but All Island installed 5mm even after our concerns. I have many pictures of this disaster. When Jay visited us, he went around our kitchen kicking the planks to close up multiple gaps. The flooring was a big part of this disaster, but there is way more that happened with the crew that was working on our project. Paint splatter on our brand new windows and screens, holes left in corners of the room, kitchen cabinet handles screwed in crooked, grout started falling out of the backsplash tiles, and I could go on. Wish they would have done right by us.
