My kids and I love claw machines and we usually would go to Round 1 but realized how much we have been spending there and not usually taking anything home. Found this online and saw their token prices and they are seem pretty reasonable so decided to give it a try. i like that all claw machines (maybe around 20 total) have different plushies/prizes. The owners are very nice and helpful! they would arrange the plushies if it gets too difficult to get one and would give tips on how to do it right. My kids enjoyed the time here and ended up taking some plushies home!

If you love claw machines like my two kids do, this place is a must visit! There aren't too many spots like this in the Bay area and we are always down for unique new experiences so decided to come here. The owner was so kind and had his kids there helping out attentively. He gave us some tips to play and luckily both kids came out with plushies- my youngest got his favorite Warriors plushie which completely made his day. We walked out with 3 plushies and a few toys we purchased from their selection. My oldest was able to trade for a different plushie in the same claw machine which he appreciated. There was ample selection of plushies to choose from and a great trade up program to get bigger plushies. The place was super clean. $1 will buy you 1 play token or 2 tokens for the smaller machines The owner even asked if we wanted to take a family picture next to the cool Kaws which we took him up on. We will definitely be back when we are in the neighborhood- we loved it here. Happy to support a family run POC small business!!

We had the best time today at Cali Claw! This rainy day required us to find something fun to do indoors and this is exactly what we needed! It's definitely a place that's fun for all ages! Found this place via Yelp. & Now I understand why all the 5 stars reviews! I came here with my son and daughter today because we love claw machines. This place was very nice and clean, small but plenty of claw machines to choose from. There was a cool Kaws statue too! Total family owned business and I love that. The vibe was cool and chill, the owner was very nice! He gave us extra tokens during our visit since the kids weren't hitting any plushies. He even helped position the plushies to make it easier for my 7 year old daughter and gave us tips on where to claw. We appreciated that! Ended up leaving with 3 plushies and a Hello Kitty keychain. We enjoyed this place and wouldn't mind coming back. Customer service was A1!

This place is so cute! I'm so happy that they have a claw machine place in Concord. It's so fun! We were able to snag 13 plushies for $30. The staff is super nice. They were rearranging the stuffies for easy winnings.

I have gone here multiple times with my boyfriend since they've opened and it has always been a fun experience! We used to go to Round 1 frequently but would always leave with one prize to show for our money. But here even despite the challenge, the owners always go out of their way to give us tips, extra tokens, and reset the machines. The prices are reasonable and the selection of prizes are typically within trend. They even have a plushie bank to trade in the unwanted prizes so that you can save them to trade in later for a bigger prize. I found this place on TikTok and wanted to come here since there's nothing like it. It's a small place and there's plenty of street parking in the back. The place is small but there's a good amount of claw machines. You walk in and there's the register where you buy your tokes. I thought it was pretty reasonable pricing. I like that the smaller claw machines gives you two tries. Both my kids had a lot of fun. This place is very fun for any age. You can trade in small stuffed animals for a bigger one. The owner was very nice and helpful. We had an amazing experience. My kids already want to go back. Highly recommend!

I recently did a tour of claw machine arcades in the area (Cali Claw in Concord, Starbunni in Danville, Claw Meee in Milpitas and Round 1 in both Concord and Hayward) and Cali Claw by FAR exceeded the rest in terms of customer service. The owners are helpful and polite and have given my family tips when we go. They've repositioned prizes to help my daughter when she's having a tough time winning a plush she wants and have also surprised her with an extra token which helps make her day. The owners also encourage you to try to win whatever is easiest to grab in the machine and you're able to switch it out for whatever plush you like most in the same machine. When compared to other claw arcades the selection of plushes in the machine aren't my favorite but they have adorable ones in their trade up section. Overall 5/5 stars - would definitely recommend!

I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars! We were looking for something fun for the kids to do this weekend and came across this on Yelp. After reading reviews, we knew we had to come and see this place for ourselves. We have a 5 and 2 year old and they've been obsessed with claw machines lately. Unfortunately, we usually walk away with nothing and practically would've been better off just throwing our money in the trash. Not at this place though! First off, the value is already more bang for your buck than any other claw machine place we've been. Usually it costs us a few dollars per try, if not more. Each machine only cost a token and the tokens are $1/ea. If you buy more, it's even less per token. Admittedly we spent way too much but the kids had so much fun and kept winning over and over again. The owners were so sweet and kept resetting the machines so the kids would have an easier time winning a prize! If we won something from the machine but wanted another variation inside, they would swap it out. My daughter got Kuromi but really wanted Melody so we were able to trade. They were also extremely patient with my kids while they were deciding what to trade up to. Speaking of which, if you win enough plushies, you can trade up to better plushies or open a "plushie bank account" where you give them back the plushies and get plushie credits in return for a future visit. We are so so happy with our visit and will definitely be returning and telling friends about this place! Thanks so much for a fun time!

Took my kid here today for their soft opening. She's obsessed with claw arcade videos so we're so glad they're here. Cali Claw does not disappoint! It's a family run place; and just as everyone has said in the reviews, they're incredibly sweet and genuinely want you to win and have a good time. They make it a point to let you know to go after the easiest ones (even if you don't want it) to increase your chances of winning and they will trade it for the prize you want. They even try to place items in a way to make it obtainable. We'll be back and plan on bringing friends with us. read more

We had an amazing time here! They are still in their soft opening phase. They have super cute plushies and keychains. Everything we saw was authentic and not a fake version of the character like we've seen at other places. They have the trade up system so you can keep what you want or trade up for a different plush or figure. You can also trade for a different item in the same machine that you got it from. While you're playing, if you need help with any of the machines or anything reset, they are happy to help! We can't wait to go back! read more

Saw this new claw machine arcade opened up close to home and had to check it out! It definitely did not disappoint. The owner was really nice and her son even came out and gave some tips. The regular machines cost 1 token per play and the mini machines cost 1 token for 2 plays. In all, we won 6 full size and 3 mini plushies. We will definitely be back! read more

My kids asked to go play games on the way home from dinner so we decided to try this place. The employees were so nice and gave us a few extra coins when we arrived and also handed the kids a couple extra when we were getting to ready to leave. We left with two prizes and bought a couple blind boxes on the way out. It was a great stop to get a couple extra wiggles out for the kiddos. We will definitely be regulars here. read more

Awesome spot! Been meaning to come here sooner but our schedules never allowed us too...until today So happy we got the time to go today Such a fun and cool place! We met one of the owners today (the husband) and he was so welcoming and super nice! Gave us pointers and was kind enough to shuffle the prizes around so the kids would go home happy He definitely made our son's night for sure! Thank you so much again! It's cool place inside and has a lot potential but is a huge scam!!! Every time the prize falls out. Worst part is they even try to arrange the prizes so you have a small chance of winning; highlighting that they know it's extremely hard to win. I'm sorry but what a ripoff for these poor little kids wanting to win a stuff animal. I know each prize is worth Pennie's and it's a dollar a token. At the very least this place can make it easier to win. I would feel horrible if I owned this business. read more

Cali Claw is such a fun place for my family! The selection of prizes is varied-- you'll see everything from cutsey coffee shaped cats to Ninja Turtles. We have gone twice in one month and the selection was different both times. Prices for plays are very fair and reasonable. Lastly, the owners are so friendly and helpful. Such a fun claw arcade that brings fun for the whole family! Lots of different claw machines to choose from with the most kawaii prizes you could ask for! The owners are so kind and welcoming, too! After going to Japan, my girls are so glad to have claw machines here! Prices are reasonable, prizes are so good, and memories made are priceless! It's Concords' newest claw/crane machines spot. It's conveniently located on Willow Pass Road near Todos Santos plaza right behind La Pinata. I took my kids here, and they had a blast. We spent $50 buck and got 60 tokens. Their smaller machines give you 2 plays for 1 token. I highly recommend coming here if you want to win some plushies, buy collectibles, and stay cool with the AC. Great vibes, good music. I can't wait for the grand opening. read more

Will absolutely come again! My girlfriend and I went here and had an amazing time. The family running this establishment were very generous in explaining how everything went, as well as gave tips on how to play. They allow reshuffles which is very helpful if the prizes in the machine you are using do not look easy to win. We were only supposed to be there for 30 minutes, but stayed for a couple more hours! The music playing was very fun and the vibe was easy-going and cheerful. Their mascot is super cute as well! read more

This place was amazing! Super clean and organized. Family run and the owners (and their adorable kids) were so friendly and helpful. We went with a fairly large group of youngish kids and the owners were attentive and made sure everyone has a good time. When some of the kids were struggling, they didn't hesitate to reshuffle the toys inside the machines and to give each kid individual attention and tips. The stuffies were all higher quality than you typically see in claw machines - soft and plush rather than the hard, styrofoam types. If you win a toy, you can swap it out for another toy from the same machine, and you can trade in your toys for a larger toy based on a very fair formula for exchange. (You can even bank your wins for future trade in!) This is such a great addition to the area and I'm genuinely excited to go back. read more

This place is awesome. The gentleman that was helping us was very nice and made sure my five-year-old daughter left with something. Great family fun Game Center. Brought 5year old grandson. Enjoyed the smaller venue which offered a hands on and family friendly experience. We were in the area for dinner tonight and a friend found this place which was closing in 15 mins! We got there at 7:55 and the owner was very welcoming and ensure us we had time to play even though they closed at 8:00. :D He gave us plenty of time and was so friendly and helpful. Even gave tips to help our kids! Highly recommending this place! BTW they are having a grand opening soon - will def come back to support! read more

What a cool spot! The machines have a nice selection of stuffies including Sanrio, Studio Ghibli and Rainbow Friends. The owner was friendly and made sure we all came out winners! They even shuffled the machine a few times to make sure my daughter won the toy she was eyeing! My family and I spontaneously found this place while running errands near by in another town. We live a little over an hour away and I was searching a kid friendly place to take your little one and stumbled across this cute claw machine arcade. My little one had so much fun and so did his dad and I. The plushies are so stinking cute and the photo opp area is a plus. The owner and her kids are so nice!! I love how you can trade your plushies for the one you want. Definitely recommend bringing your littles here. I'm so excited for them to start their point system. There really aren't too many of these places like this anywhere nowadays. Good nostalgia just from that perspective. Makes it fun. How is the pricing of everything? Actually reasonable for most things I saw here. There were some things that seemed to be fairly overpriced, but it was mainly for the rarer stuff which is understandable, but still pretty far over the market price elsewhere (online and such). But the general stuff sold here were all fair enough for a physical store. The service here, I actually didn't really interact with them much. While I was walking around the store I did hear customers converse with the staff and it seemed friendly enough, so I assume it's fine. They seemed eager to help when people walked up to the counter-adjacent areas, so there's that. Though I didn't walk out with anything the first time I visited the place, finally, I certainly almost wanted to grab something quite a few times as I was making my way through there. Will definitely be back at some point later.

We browsed around, and it seems that a lot of the store is focused on modeling kits - lots of those, Gundam, paints, tools, etc. They have some aisles for plushies and other soft characters / mascots, etc., and some for figurines as well. They also have limited selection of those lottery things where you pay for a ticket, reveal what the ticket has and get that "prize." One of the things that caught our eyes were their mystery / blind boxes. Gambling! My daughter ended up getting a few of those, but sadly some repeats. Bad luck haha. Noticed they had a couple sets of Labubu for sale as well, but similar to a lot of stuff here, they were heavily marked up. For instance, when we went, Have a Seat was $65 a box and Big Energy or something was $85 a box. Wowzers! Crazy how there is such a hype, but they are hard to get, so desperate consumers would pay desperate prices I suppose. There was also a table of mystery bags. There is a hint to which character or anime or contents as well. None of those really caught our eyes, but maybe someday!

The materials we received were always priced higher than if you just bought them outright. I haven't looked much into other games, but I've heard they price things very high. This was also the hub for when I got into beyblade, but after a few months, we learned that new management didn't want us hosting events there anymore in place of another game. I recently discovered this new arcade and was immediately impressed by the warm welcome from the owner. He made me feel at home and introduced me to all the games, even offering tips for the claw machine. His guidance was much appreciated. The pricing is fair at $1 per token, much better than the $5 per try at other places like Round One. The machines are not rigged; I saw many people winning over 20 plushies. The claw machines here have a strong grip, and I was able to win a prize after only five tries. The owner even gave me an extra token when my claw hit the back wall, which I am very thankful for. We love supporting our local small family business. This is a claw machines heaven! The owner Theresa and her family were so nice and helpful! Some people might say it's a waste of money and it's all preset to when someone will win after so many times. But to us, it's all worth it to see the joy in my kids faces. You can trade for little prizes that you win for bigger prizes on the wall too!!! This is such a new fun place, exactly the thing we needed in Concord. This family owned business is a great experience for kids and adults. Claw machines are classic fun and although challenging, my daughter and I still had a great time. They have a wide variety of stuffed animals from Pokémon, Sanrio, Disney, Nintendo, etc. We enjoyed the large machines more than the small ones and came away with 4 stuffed animals. The staff is very friendly and interacts with customers, and I really support their idea of providing a screen-free memorable experience for kids. Cali Claw was an absolute blast! They have a vibrant atmosphere filled with colorful plush toys just waiting to be won. The variety was impressive--so many cute plushies to choose from! What I loved most was the option to trade for anything within the same machine or even upgrade to some of the huge plush.
