My kids and I love claw machines and we usually would go to Round 1 but realized how much we have been spending there and not usually taking anything home. Found this online and saw their token prices and they are seem pretty reasonable so decided to give it a try. i like that all claw machines (maybe around 20 total) have different plushies/prizes. The owners are very nice and helpful! they would arrange the plushies if it gets too difficult to get one and would give tips on how to do it right. My kids enjoyed the time here and ended up taking some plushies home!

If you love claw machines like my two kids do, this place is a must visit! There aren't too many spots like this in the Bay area and we are always down for unique new experiences so decided to come here. The owner was so kind and had his kids there helping out attentively. He gave us some tips to play and luckily both kids came out with plushies- my youngest got his favorite Warriors plushie which completely made his day. We walked out with 3 plushies and a few toys we purchased from their selection. My oldest was able to trade for a different plushie in the same claw machine which he appreciated. There was ample selection of plushies to choose from and a great trade up program to get bigger plushies. The place was super clean. $1 will buy you 1 play token or 2 tokens for the smaller machines The owner even asked if we wanted to take a family picture next to the cool Kaws which we took him up on. We will definitely be back when we are in the neighborhood- we loved it here. Happy to support a family run POC small business!!

Found this place via Yelp. & Now I understand why all the 5 stars reviews! I came here with my son and daughter today because we love claw machines. This place was very nice and clean, small but plenty of claw machines to choose from. There was a cool Kaws statue too! Total family owned business and I love that. The vibe was cool and chill, the owner was very nice! He gave us extra tokens during our visit since the kids weren't hitting any plushies. He even helped position the plushies to make it easier for my 7 year old daughter and gave us tips on where to claw. We appreciated that! Ended up leaving with 3 plushies and a Hello Kitty keychain. We enjoyed this place and wouldn't mind coming back. Customer service was A1!

This place is so cute! I'm so happy that they have a claw machine place in Concord. It's so fun! We were able to snag 13 plushies for $30. The staff is super nice. They were rearranging the stuffies for easy winnings.

    Claw Machine fun!

We had the best time today at Cali Claw! This rainy day required us to find something fun to do indoors and this is exactly what we needed! It's definitely a place that's fun for all ages! You win some you'll lose some but hey, that's the game of claw. Great selection of prizes! we left with smiles on our faces and a bag full of goodies. We will definitely be back! Locally owned and operated. We love to support local

I found this place on TikTok and wanted to come here since there's nothing like it. It's a small place and there's plenty of street parking in the back. The place is small but there's a good amount of claw machines. You walk in and there's the register where you buy your tokes. I thought it was pretty reasonable pricing. I like that the smaller claw machines gives you two tries. Both my kids had a lot of fun. This place is very fun for any age. You can trade in small stuffed animals for a bigger one. The owner was very nice and helpful. We had an amazing experience. My kids already want to go back. Highly recommend!

I recently did a tour of claw machine arcades in the area (Cali Claw in Concord, Starbunni in Danville, Claw Meee in Milpitas and Round 1 in both Concord and Hayward) and Cali Claw by FAR exceeded the rest in terms of customer service. The owners are helpful and polite and have given my family tips when we go. They've repositioned prizes to help my daughter when she's having a tough time winning a plush she wants and have also surprised her with an extra token which helps make her day. The owners also encourage you to try to win whatever is easiest to grab in the machine and you're able to switch it out for whatever plush you like most in the same machine. When compared to other claw arcades the selection of plushes in the machine aren't my favorite but they have adorable ones in their trade up section. Overall 5/5 stars - would definitely recommend!

I have gone here multiple times with my boyfriend since they've opened and it has always been a fun experience! We used to go to Round 1 frequently but would always leave with one prize to show for our money. But here even despite the challenge, the owners always go out of their way to give us tips, extra tokens, and reset the machines. The prices are reasonable and the selection of prizes are typically within trend. They even have a plushie bank to trade in the unwanted prizes so that you can save them to trade in later for a bigger prize. Overall, super fun for date night or family time :) *pictures are from the multiple trips since 2024!*

Ask the Community - Cali Claw

Are you open Monday February 9, President's Day?

We are open on President's day February 16. We will be closed February 9.

Do you have gift cards available?

Sorry, no gift cards are available. You can purchase the tokens and come back at a later time.

    How much is it?

It's $1 equals 1 credit for the regular size claw machines, for the little ones it's $1 get 2 credits. They do offer some discount if you purchase more credits, we spent $50 for 60 credits as an example. I believe there's a $20 for 25 credits as…

It's loud and chaotic, exactly what you'd expect from an arcade. I'd mainly come for the games and karaoke, though. If bowling is your priority, I'd head to Clayton Valley instead because the lanes here are on Ozempic, they're hella small. Also, AC desperately needs fixing. It's like a boiler room on one side and less hot in other places. I can't imagine working in that heat tbh.

So I can't remember the last time I had my hands on a pinball machine. Located in an industrial area, down the Street from Costco and less then a mile from park and shop. It's really just around the corner from Costco. You can easily walk here from Costco while you family shops you can be having so much more fun and not rush them. There was plenty of free parking right out front. The front is liked with live plants that mesmerized my mom. She loves plants. Soon as you walk inside you enter a framing shop. This is in the back rooms of a framing shop. It all started with the owner and his love of pinball machines and his love of sharing his hobby with others. And we are so thankful that he has shared. What a fun time and bring lots of quarters if you have them. We should have brought more from our coin jar. My dad had them all pulled out, then mom said we didn't need that many, we really needed that many. They also have a change machine. If you put $20 in you get $20 of quarters. It doesn't give change back if you only want a portions of quarters. We only spent around an hour there, but I could have stayed longer. I was having so much fun, but we ran out of quarters. Too bad, there were so many games to play. The front room were the oldest games and gave you the most plays for your 50 cents. I believe all those games gave you 5 balls. For beginners like us we need all the balls we could get. The cost of the machines are not on the coin slots it's on the bottom left corner of the pinball machine. These machines take quarters only, no game card that you have to refill with money. I really dislike those cards as if you put too much on there is no getting your money back. So yea! For the use of quarters. I love this feature of The Flipper Room. They have my vote. Other pinball places also have a feature that I'm not sure about, they have it where they charge you by the hours. There is one in Reno like this and Downtown Sacramento. Those have those pluses too, but I really am a fan of the quarters. We have so many saved up in our piggy banks so it's like it's' free to play as we aren't going to the ATM, it's just free change. I had fun playing the pinball machines and also playing the PAC-Man Game. It was just a regular arcade game that cost 25 cents. It was. A mini game that they t up on a riser so you didn't have to bend down. I have fond memories of PAC-Man. We used to have a mini handheld version that was lots of fun. My mom is one of those annoying players that keeps hitting the flippers when the ball is no where near the flippers. We tried to explain to her that's not how to operate the pin ball machine, but she got really mad at us. We're sorry Flipper owner. We tried. I highly suggest you check this place out. Even if you aren't in the area it's worth the trip. They have both new and old school machines. There are 3 rooms of machines so if you bring a group you won't be cramped. Come play and have fun!!!
