Remember back in the day when we would bring a pocket full of quarters to play Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga, and pinball? Well... there's a spot in Concord where you can bring your old date(s) to relive those good old arcade memories! The vibe gets even better when you notice their amazing wall art and posters -- many designed and drawn by super talented artists. They got an art gallery aesthetic going on, with cool prints, rock-style posters, and fun retro illustrations hanging on the walls. Super cool! And the BEST part? Spacer the shop cat! ‍ He's the absolute star here -- he has his own poster and even a custom-made pinball cat bed. Ah-mazing! We visited the establishment on Saturday, 6/20/26... It looks like a cute fun place however, the atmosphere is ruined as you almost get knocked over as soon as you walk in by the overwhelming air freshener smell that is so thick you could cut the air with a knife... not good! The owner and staff are very nice, but maybe they're just so used to the overwhelming smell they don't realize how bad it is. It is definitely not good for business. Luckily, I didn't get a migraine from it and the only reason we stayed is because it was something important to my mom for me and my brother to play some pinball together. One other thing to note, they do have a shop cat... so for those of you who are allergic to cats.... humm. I do have to say that they did have the airflow going very well, so maybe that's what helped out so my brother didn't react to the cat and I didn't get a migraine from the air freshener smell. Usually places like that I get sick within about 15 minutes... But we were also wearing masks because my mother is immuno compromised. Anyway, I would really love to give this place five stars, and if I was rating just on the video games, I would as the games were fun and it was extremely cheap to play the games... but as an overall experience, it's lacking big time due to the atmosphere/overwhelming smell of the place... that drops it down to a one star. Sorry you guys... But I've got to be honest and hopefully you guys can make some changes to make your business more appealing. I am giving it two stars because, like I said, the games were nice and very inexpensive/reasonable to play. read more

Cool pinball arcade with games that take quarters (and a change machine available inside). This spot is also an art gallery and frame/print shop with colorful and quirky designs and friendly staff. They sell merchandise on site and have a TV in at least one of the rooms, as well as snack and drink vending machines toward the back. The venue is on the small side, but there were only a few visitors on a Saturday afternoon. So plenty of space to move around, and a good number of pinball machines to play (only a couple I saw with "out of order" signs). The different themes included Harry Potter, Dungeons & Dragons, Winchester Mystery House, Indiana Jones, Foo Fighters, and a Super Mario Mushroom World gottlieb miniature pinball machine which I tried. My bf played the Tapper video arcade game too while we were there. I love that they offered Tetris as well, one of my faves. We didn't stay long as we had other plans for the evening, but we enjoyed checking this place out. read more

Our family was looking for something fun to do on a Saturday in Concord, and this place had such great reviews that we decided to check it out. Finding it felt like stumbling upon a speakeasy--tucked away in an industrial area off Monument. When we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest staff member who answered all our questions and made us feel right at home. My 3-year-old was especially thrilled to meet the resident cat, Spacer (who's apparently a bit of a space enthusiast), and was even allowed to pet him! The place is spotless, the machines are in amazing condition, and the prices are totally reasonable. It's such a cool, unique spot--whether you're looking for a fun family outing or a quirky date idea. We had a blast and will definitely be back! read more

This place is rad! A great mix of old school and new machines. D$D, Jaws, Predator, Medusa, Dracula the hits just keep rolling. Scooby-Doo is my personal favorite, it's based on the original running of the show! The creators, Spooky Pinball LLC got the licensing so it has cut scenes and all the awesome sound effects you'd expect. Keep in mind the games get swapped out every so often so don't expect every machine I mentioned to be there. Mike, the owner is a cool guy. There is a lot more than just pinball going on here. Art, t-shirts, picture framing etc... The cat, Spacer is great. He's friendly and meows cutely when he receives attention. Don't go in there without giving him some love. Stop by and play some games or just a party there! There are also league events and other happenings going on. I highly recommend this spot and can't wait to go back and play Scooby-Doo! read more

A total hidden gem! I LOVE pinball And random but it is also a framing store that sells, t shirts and rock prints, with a cute kitty hanging around. There is a bathroom and vending machine there too. The Pandemic has calmed. The Flipper Room is open. The Machines are plugged I once again. Check their website for hours and various tournaments. I came out for the Launch Party for Sterns James Bond 007 Pinball Machine along with 32 other pinheads competing for glory and WPPR's. While I may not have done so well, it was fun competition. Kudos to Mike and Kate for putting it all together (with some help, of course). read more

The Flipper Room has been on my radar for a long time to visit and play the pinball machines. They are located in a small industrial area within the space of the Framing Shop. Once inside, you get the sense that there is a lot of love for unique-ness that is pinball. Most of the games cost between 50 cents to $1 to play a single game. And there is the more cost effective play of 3 games for $2. Pretty much all of the games require quarters to play so you need to change your paper money to coins. This is kind of a drag especially if your dropping singles in. The change machine does take $5, $10 and $20 bills. It will only put out $5 in quarters and give you back your change in $5 bills. So, if you put in a $20, it'll give you 20 quarters and three $5 bills back. I was hoping they just had a pay per time desired, enter and play the games until your time is up. I'm sure it's so they can collect $$$. My daughter and I spent a few hours there so it got to be expensive. There are a few pins that were down for maintenance but the ones that were up were in great condition. They have a clipboard on the change machine to note any issues you may observe for them to address. I noted three items and the gentleman at the front was very aware and took care of them while I was there. He was nice enough but not very welcoming to his space. It's ok because the games compensated for that. I like the place for the number of pins available and I would come back to play certain games. read more

This place is AWESOME! I just wish that I would have known about it earlier. Lots of extremely well-kept video games from the 70's up through current times. Most of the 70's and 80's machines run 25 cents to 50 cents per game. The more modern ones are 75 cents to a Dollar per game. Many have them have discounts (a bonus game) if you put in $2.00. Had a Blast there! There were also a few video games there as well. And yes ... they use quarter for the games (not tokens or cards) and they have a nice change machine that will give quarters (and bills as change if you put in a $10 or $20 bill - otherwise just quarters for a $1 or $5 bill). COME TO THIS PLACE - ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMETHING FUN TO DO ON A HOT, sunny day (nice A/C there). read more

Such a fun place! We have visited for the framing and the pinball. We had a poster of a painting we love and wanted to get it professionally framed to hang above our bed. We brought it to The Flipper Room and they did a lovely job. After dropping it off, we spent some time checking out their games, and were excited to play some more when our poster was ready to pick up a few weeks later. While I am not particularly good at pinball, I had a lot of fun which is what matters most. My favorite table was Blackbeard, followed closely by any of the dinosaur-themed ones, and my honey's was Alice Cooper. Bring some dollars to get quarters from their machine and play away! read more

If you are 50+, this place is a blast from the past. It's virtually all pinball machines, with a few video games. Most machines are in the 50 cent range, but there are a surprising number of old machines that are 25 cents a play (for 5 balls !). If you have teenage kids and want to lure them away from staring at a 6-inch screen all day, bring them here. Definitely worth the visit. The proprietors also maintain the machines extremely well. Everything works. This isn't a pinball museum. It's a working arcade. Highly recommended. read more

Now, i love video games but this place has some really fun and cool pinball machines! I liked the variety of pinball machines going from old to new, and it's really cool playing the old ones because that have a satisfying "ding" sound every time the ball hits a bell knowing you scored some points. The staff was also really friendly telling us that some of the machines have a deal where the certain amount of money you put in is the amount of plays your will get. I would come back here to try to set some new high scores! read more

Flipper Room is a great place and a paradise for pinball arcade lovers. Each pinball arcade machines cost about a quarter to play so you are getting a great value for your money spent. I enjoy playing pinball here as it brings back nostalgia. They have so many old school pinball machines from 70/s and 80's. We had a blast looking at the art work they had and played most of the machines they had to offer which worked exactly as they should. This is a great little hidden gym in Concord. I usually go to Phoenix games to play Pinball but this location has a lot of different machines that range in cost starting at a quarter. They're tucked behind Costco and the staff people working are very friendly. They also sell a ton of cool art which is posted on their walls, mostly with Disney or Comic Book themes. This place is so sweet! Has a really cool vibe, but i wish I came back during like an open play time. My family and i burned through our designated money allotment hella quick. I would love to come back and just play a flat fee for a set amount of unlimited play for an hour or so. But if you like pinball you'll love this place, such a good variety of games both older and newer machines. I dont know if there is an atm machine here so bring cash! read more

REWIND- ti the good ol days! Super nice owner! He was polite and greeted my family as we came in. There is a great selection of pinball games you can play for 25 cents, it ranges and goes up to newer games for about 1.50 a few balls. When my kiddos hit the "jackpot on a game " it sounded a bell and the owner brought them over a prize box a few times. Each of kids left with stickers for their water bottles it was a kind gesture !! Clean spot, we came with $60 + in quarters and all 7 of us played for over an hour or so. My daughter discovered her favorite is tapper , my Dad and husband were bonding over pac-man. And we all went from room to room enjoying ourselves. There are vending machines, a restroom, some merchandise available. I would say overall this is a great pit stop for some good ol nostalgia . Glad we visited. Thankful a spot like this was available for my kids to be introduced to the world of pinball, donkey Kong, tapper, and pac-man. read more

I had the pleasure of checking out The Flipper Room with my girlfriend on a Saturday afternoon. This facility is tucked away in a quiet part of town, and is easy to get to. When we came, there were only a few groups playing on the machines. They had a very large variety of machines (around 30 in total) that ranged from vintage to modern. All were in excellent working condition and cost anywhere from $0.25 to $1.00 to play. Each machine DOES need change, so bring a few bills or quarters to play. There is a change machine inside for your convenience, but no ATM. Along with the pinball machines, each room was uniquely themed and filled with merchandise and artwork to occupy your time. Overall, The Flipper Room was a positive experience. My girlfriend and I both enjoyed playing the different machines. We only spent an hour here but could've easily doubled the amount of time trying the different games. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for some good honest pinball fun! read more

There aren't enough superlatives to describe the Flipper Room experience. Around thirty games, plenty of variety and each one we tried was in top playing condition. No sluggish bounces, faulty relays or dead bumpers...all action and reaction. Old school style of dropping quarters and playing for a replay or match was a nice surprise. A little skin in the outcome of the game compared to a flat fee set up where you don't even wait for the match. The location is in a nice tucked away industrial/commercial area, so it is perfect for a quiet, focused family outing away from the crowds and clutter of other parts of the area. Games are spaced out nicely and in multiple rooms to keep the noise from being a cacophony. Glancing around and seeing framing and artwork being done is a nice little break and adds to the ambience. Everything was clean and well maintained, certainly appropriate for taking family on a night out. Another huge plus are the owners. Mike and Kate were very welcoming and nice to get to know. The vibe is laidback and easy-going, almost like you are visiting old friends. Finally, the artwork, t-shirts and other merchandise are fantastic. We started collecting on our first visit and will add whenever inspiration strikes. It is and will be our go-to option whenever pinball is the plan. read more
