This is my second time at this location. First time was a date and this time for a kids birthday. Right off the bat I can say this is a much smaller location than others I've been too. I honestly don't know how to compare it in terms of food quality because this might have been the first time I actually ate something here and drank as much as I did ( responsiblly obviously) Parking sucked at the time we arrived but theres a big parking lot out front. Entering the building there's a front desk to the right, game card kiosk to the left, sports bar right in front and yonder is all the glits and glimmer. Today was chosen because its unlimited and half or something but no one and I mean NO ONE in the party paid any attention to details. We all had different pieces to the puzzle. For example my niece was getting frustrated because her game card wasn't working... turns out unlimited has a 30 second wait between games. Also my bro-in-law was getting frustrated because he couldn't get his bonus tickets, also turns out unlimited caps at 1500. Not the fault of DNB but definitely could use a much larger PSA incase they get family like mine. The Caveman Combo I ordered was almost perfect... them 5 Itty bitty riblets were damn near beef jerky strips. The fries were fire though. I hate fries, of any kind and any where but these were lit. The sliders were OK, not amazing but did the job. Out of the 5 drinks, my least favorites were the Mango Peach Bellini and the Strawberry Red Sangria. My favorites were the Island Punch and Pink 'Rita. The ok drink was the Tropical Mojito. I'll definitely come back, was a good time if not just because my Funcle doodies were godlike and I love my neice. read more

We decided to kick off our Anniversary (9/24) at this spot. It's been years since we been here and we are happy that we came. We ate and drink with the Eat & Play combo.. our server was Emily. She was amazing and so funny. We felt like we knew her long time..lol. We had Top Shelf margs bellinis and cherry bombs. We ate wings and a Philly cheese steak. Next we played the games. We loved them. Only thing.. there were some issues with getting the games to actually work. However, the staff were very accomodating. We've been coming to this Dave & Buster's now for a couple of years, and always have fun! We purchased two summer passes for our boys, and it really helped us break up long weeks. Special shoutout to our regular server, Juan, for always taking good care of us! The food is pretty good here, they have traditional options, like chicken, wings, burgers, and a full bar as well. We tend to order the triple play, comes with pretzel dogs, fries, and wings. They make pretty good cocktails for a chain restaurant. The Summer Pass gives you unlimited play and food/beverage discounts. We came here for a couple World Cup games, and the people showed up for the USA matches ^_^ The vibes are pretty fun, stop by if you want to feel like a kid again, and grab a bite to eat. read more

Not sure why this location is 2.5 stars. But we love this location. The games are excellent! The food is good (compared to its an arcade place)! We ordered bbq chicken flatbread and taco salad. Both are good. Don't like the cheese on taco and we need to wait like 30 mins before server came to take the orders. But in their defense it was close to 11 pm and there not many people working! Overall I love this location. I am taking one star off because of our wait. But not sure why people have 2.5! Come on folks, compare with other arcade places like Chuck-e-cheese! GAMES/ARCADE: Out of the 3 Dave & Buster's in the Bay Area/East Bay/NorCal area, the games at this location far exceeds the others. The games are newer, more modern, and more up to date. The machines do break down just like any machine that gets beat, pounded, and shook by any kiddo on the daily (particularly during half off)--the amount of force people use... shouldn't be blamed on the establishment. I myself would be pissed if I operated the chain and I saw what kids did to the machines. Therefore, definite props to the tech team. The tech team are beyond kind and willing to fix any issue--except for the long haired blond Caucasian male (ie stone dropped but wouldn't go into the machine; he just put it back...). Ticketed items have increased due to the tariffs. Items don't seem to be updated much and new items are far few in between BUT this location offers more and has more variety than the others. FOOD: I am starting to believe the food and bar service at all Dave & Buster's are the same. I haven't tried the one in Daly City but have tried the other 2 and another 1 out of state. Obviously, the menu is the same across the board with plus or minus certain items dependent on the culture (ie some locations have shaved ice which I have never seen in NorCal). Somehow the prices increased (let me guess, blame the tariffs?) whereas portion sizes decreased immensely. This isn't too bad if you are part of the FREE membership (PRO TIP: Download the app! if you play enough chips, you do receive FREE apps, entree, burger, etc). Service is gawd awful. It seems as if the training manual is standardized to magically forget customer requests and to let customers search for you. This is a recurring theme across the board. For example, we ordered a salad with the dressing on the side. Server completely forgets. Continues to forget. We continue to watch (giving the benefit of the doubt), then, notice she starts serving others. Someone in my party proceeds to walk up and notify them. We start eating the salad dry. Half way she finally shows up with the prepackaged dressing. Free coupons need to be approved by managers, presumably. Only had this happen when taking out but not dining in. AMBIANCE: It's loud. It's dark. It's full of lights. It's casual. Fabulous for large groups. Often lots of parties and company gatherings happening. It's obnoxiously fun; what more could a person ask for? I wouldn't come here for the food. I'd eat beforehand. However, I'd grab a drink during happy hour (M to F 4-7pm; Sun to Thurs 10pm to closing). If I were basing it off of the food, service, ticketed items, and food pricing, the rating would be so much lower. Instead, I couldn't be happier (in comparison to other arcades) with the chip pricing, rewards via membership, and machines offered. I just wished there were rewards past level 9 on the membership and that you can redeem gift cards on the app AS THIS LOCATION SEEMS TO NEVER HAVE A PERSON AT THE FRONT DESK (you will have to go to the bar and they never want to add your loyalty/members for bonus chips). read more

I love dave and busters and finally made it out to this one. I came on a sunday afternoon. They have so many games here. My favorite is basketball, connect 4 basketball and air hockey. All those were working but over 3 other games we played were out of order and taking the credits. Im so surprised to see some out of order. I did get help with one of the games but I didnt bother for the rest. They have a bar and restaurant like the other ones. I didnt eat any food on this visit. The location was really clean. We recently came here for a kids birthday party. Each kid got their own unlimited play card, but it was unlimited only for the blue machines, which means unlimited play applies to these non-ticket, non-redemption video games. It did have some points for the non-blue machines too, so they were able to claim some credits on those games. My family had so much fun here... we probably played every single game that was blue... which took like 3 hours. We were all gamed out by the time we were leaving. Dining area was clean. Service was good, but very very slow for some reason (it was a weekend... so lots of parties and groups). The food was okay, what I expected from a fast food / arcade kind of setting. Bathroom was very clean. In the past, we have came for Wednesday half price day before and it was a good deal! The prizes you redeem credits for are never really worth it, but the kids (and my husband) love the "free" prizes.... Overall we had good times and new memories made at this D&B. Then we waited about 15 minutes while being ignored by all the other servers, no water no words no anything. All we got were some awkward eye contact from a blond server while they pretended not to see us. To be fair we could've not been in their section, but telling anyone else that we needed help would've been kind. Came at 4:00 and sat at one of the two-chair tables closest to the bar in the third back row. We ended up leaving since it was clear no one had intentions of even saying hi. I come all the time to play games, and I know the food is good, but what's the point if you can't order anything. Horrible! I was there at a birthday party with my daughter and we were walking inside when I tripped over the barrier/ bumper that connects the arcades. It's not safe at all and lots of kids are there running around. In fact, right after my fall there was another guy that almost fell but got lucky last minute. I walked right after to the onsite manager and told him what had happened. He wrote my info down and reassured me that someone will be calling me about the incident after the weekend. If you go to the Dave & Buster's at this location (Concord) look out for Deja! I usually sit at the bar, but I always see her out on the floor and she is just an unmatched vibe. She's super funny, gorgeous, and constantly radiating positivity. You can feel her energy justby her presence. You'll even catch her dancing around while working radiating that vibe to her fellow staff. She treats every single guest with the same incredible vibe and genuinely makes the whole atmosphere better just by being there. Five stars for Deja! Restaurant wise. 5 stars for thier 10 for $10 wings on mondays and thursdays. You cant beat that deal and their flavors. The Buffalo Ranch, & Honey Sriracha are FIRE!!!! read more

Overall had a good experience here. A friend and I went to watch Sunday night football. It was cool that they had an MC for the game, $5 Jell-O shots floating around, and of course the dozens of TV's so you have a view of the game from every angle. We were lucky to get seated quickly shortly before game time, I think having a small party helped with that. Service was a little slow to start but it did pick up. They were slammed and we weren't in a hurry, but we really appreciated that our waitress was super friendly and would stop by to give us updates on our food or drinks so we didn't feel forgotten. The SNF deal was great too! 10 wings for $10 and we each got their $5 margarita plus 50 cents to make it dragon fruit, strawberry, etc. Can't beat that! The wings were good, the sauces were tasty. This was our first time actually ordering food, and apparently that was a mistake. Gina got her food quickly & finished her entire meal before mine even arrived, which made for a super fun & not-awkward-at-all dinner. Communication from staff was basically nonexistent -- we had to ask multiple times just to find out what was going on. Everything here is already expensive, and between the long delays and poor communication, it cut into our planned game time. This was our first time here. I came with my dad and brother, and we decided to try the "Dine & Play" deal. We started with the games and had a great time. The gaming portion of the night was fun and enjoyable overall. Unfortunately, the dining experience was the complete opposite. We were seated at a high-top table, and when our server approached, we let her know we had the Dine & Play deal. She asked for our receipt, but we were never given one, nor did the kiosk mention we would need a printed receipt. We just had our cards which the person at the kiosk said it would be on our cards. She seemed visibly annoyed and said, "I'm just going to speak to my manager," then walked away. She returned briefly to ask a follow-up question and then said, "I'm just going to grab him." To avoid further confusion, we went to the front ourselves and had them print the receipt. Once we gave her the receipt, she took our order: two beers, one water, two chicken sandwiches with ranch on the side, and a burger. The beers arrived after about 10 minutes, but the water never came. She said, "I'll be back with the water," but 20 minutes passed with no sign of it, so I went to the bar to request it myself. Our food was delivered by a different server, and ours server was nowhere in sight. We didn't receive the ranch we requested, so we asked the food runner, who said, "I'll let your server know." Meanwhile, the table behind us even asked if our server had disappeared, we said yes, and they said the same thing happened to them. That table eventually had to go to the front to pay their bill. I asked another staff member for ranch, and he responded, "What does your server look like? I'll let her know." Another 15 minutes passed with no sign of her. We finished our meals, and about 10 minutes later she finally came to the table and said, "You ordered ranch, but it looks like you don't need it." At that point, I simply said, "Yeah." I've worked in the restaurant industry myself, and this was the worst service I've ever received. I've never experienced a server completely disappearing from their tables. It also wasn't particularly busy, there were about six servers for roughly ten tables, so staffing didn't appear to be the issue. The server's name tag only had "!!" on it, so unfortunately we can't provide a name. We ultimately chose not to leave a tip, as we did not receive even basic service. Based on our experience, I would not recommend dining here. read more

The food came out at different times, so some people were almost done with their meals by the time others received theirs. The staff was MIA for long periods of time, especially when we needed help, so service wasn't the greatest. In terms of food quality and taste, everything was just okay. They skimped on most of the ingredients in the salads, the brussel sprouts and lemon pepper wings were slightly overcooked and didn't stand out in any way... and when we asked my nephew what he thought about his chicken tenders, his only response was "they took foreeeever!" The kid has a point. Inattentive sevice, long wait times, they didn't even provide utensils in a timely manner (after we requested repeatedly). I obviously don't recommend dining here, but the $2 beer special, which they have on Sundays, was cool. And we had fun playing the games, most of the arcade machines in good condition with cool themes like Willy Wonka and Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as carnival arcade games, Speed of Light, lots of hoops, dodgeball, and even a fishing game called Wicked Tuna (those last two were unique ones). 4 stars for the arcade, and clean and modern environment. 2 stars for the food and service. 3 stars overall. read more

I had not stepped into a Dave & Busters in years but came for a birthday celebration and it was totally revamped from the last time I had gone. The machines are high tech where you just tap your card on it like a credit card to play. Some games are on the pricier side and you need to save up your points to get anything good from the prize redemption. The service was great and we had a party of 15. Food came out quickly. I had the pretzel sticks with cheese which were hot and tasty. The bar was huge and drinks looked great! Will definitely be back to play some more games read more

Extremely Disappointed with the Restaurant Service I had a very bad experience at the restaurant area of Dave & Buster's. When I was seated, the table was still dirty from the previous customers crumbs, used napkins, and cups left behind. I waited patiently at first, but after several minutes no one came to clean it. I asked three different times for someone to come by, including asking the hostess directly, and still nobody ever showed up. After waiting far too long, I finally just got up and left. It's really disappointing because I was looking forward to enjoying the food and games, but the lack of basic service and attention made the experience unpleasant. Hopefully management improves staff responsiveness and cleanliness in the restaurant area this location needs much better customer service. read more

I have to say, my family and I have had a great time every time we've been. This facility is spacious, clean, and has just about every type of arcade game you can imagine. I also like that you can dine while the kids play, making it an easy and, predominately, stress free experience. It's worth downloading the app, as you'll find weekly specials for games and/or food. I've also been very impressed with the employees and service received... People seem to genuinely like working here and are friendly and helpful...something that isn't often the case at many places these days. Job well done to the hiring manager (and stellar employees!) I also like that the prizes seem like actual prizes... Not complete wastes, never to be touched again. My kiddo enjoyed his 10th birthday party here, too! Horrible experience!! We went for Super Bowl after buying tickets to reserve table and all u can eat wings. 52 minutes for 1st order of wings. 38 minutes to get a coke. No water refill, alcoholic drinks took over an hour. Waiter had disappeared for 20-30 minutes at a time. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because a server by the name of Deja is as amazing. The worst service in the bar area, not once but twice! How is it that I sit down at a table and don't even have service for over 30 minutes? I finally went up to the bar to order and after 1 hour still did not get my food. The manager was supposed to refund my bill and to date hasn't. This is the 2nd time we've been underwhelmed by their service and timing. Went to celebrate our daughter's 14th birthday on a Saturday with her 3 friends. They sat us in the surrounding bar area at a dirty table that we waited to be cleaned. After 20 minutes, my husband flagged down another server who said he'd "take us" although it wasn't his table or section. While the girls went to play games, we waited another 10 - 15 minutes for waters, and had to request utensils and napkins for our appetizers. Overall, the service was subpar. It was crowded but not enough to notice all the sidebar conversations between staff. Not the D&B service in Fairfield (which we normally go to) which is a what we expected... at least greet us! Appetizers were OK, TV's were loud and the staff seemed disconnected from customers. We had to request soda refills, food was room temperature... the only plus was the server that eventually waited on us tried to save face once he spoke with us and realized we run a catering business... while other employees just walked past us.
