Here are the pluses and minuses of my experience. Pluses: * Rapid and courteous response to my initial request * Quick turnaround for an appointment * Quoted me a 2 hr arrival window, which they met. * Affordable service. * Patio is nice and clean and he cleaned splashes from the adjacent windows/ doors. Minuses: * I had told them about my pool right next to the patio, but Brooks didn't take any special attention to prevent some dirt and sand from entering the pool (e.g, putting down plastic film). Nor did they provide a method for cleaning it afterwards, which led to clogging the pump intake line, requiring a lot of effort on my part to clear. * On the patio itself, I needed to use a blower to remove residual stuff that the power wash didn't deal with. Ideally, they would have done that as part of the service. I would give them 3.5 stars if that was an option: I feel 3 is too harsh. 4 is probably a bit generous given what I needed to do afterwards. So, be wary if you have a pool nearby that they offer you a solution to prevent crap getting in it.

I describe at the bottom of this message just how difficult this job was . They exceeded my expectations. Alex who did the work was professional, friendly, efficient and very hard-working. Communication before the job was very good and the quote was in line with the price. I'm very pleased with the work. This was not your average gutter and roof cleaning project. There were layers of pine needles on the roof and in the gutters. The gutters are a weird design and built into the eaves. He had to work from underneath and from the house side to get to them. The downspouts were completely clogged with pine needles. He had an amazing array of tools and hoses that made the job possible. It had not been cleaned in decades. They were weeds growing out of the top of the gutters and onto the roof - the layering of pine needles was so heavy. Alex pulled them out and even they had Roots that extended down into the downspouts. Again, I couldn't be more happy.

Prior to painting came power washing which created horribly spotted windows. Fortunately I'd had the great luck of running into Joe Ruiz of SpotFree Window Washing at my local Home Depot and when the painting crew finished I called him to scheduled window/screen cleaning and lots of overdue screen repair. The work was done beautifully. Sparkling clean windows, clean tracks, but as the number of screens needing repairs stacked up we agreed that it would be best if he could do the work on his work table. He returned later in the day to reinstall them and settle up. Felt the bill was reasonable. To top off how pleased I was with his work he let me know that his way of saying "thanks for the business" was to clean all the mirrors in the house...and I have six mirrored closet doors!!
