Was in the area and decided to check out a coffee place I have not been to and decided on Haraz as the reviews online have been stellar. It's located in the front of a plaza with ample parking. Upon arriving you could feel the culture it was inspired by immediately as it is guided by Yemeni coffee culture and heritage. Brown hues used throughout the store with gorgeous decor on the wall throughout the shop. The staff were really polite and ready to assist. So I took the plunge and decided to get an iced pistachio latte and a potato puff to start with. I'll tell you this much, the coffee was out of this world for me in flavor and the potato puffs... I could literally hear them in its casing calling me inviting me for more or so my head thought! I will surely be back to try their delectable bakery options as they have everything from samosas, to a variety of cakes, croissants and more. I will surely be back to try them all and answer the call of the potato's puffs that I left behind. Highly recommended!

This quickly became one of my favorite coffee spots! I've passed by here a few times and I've seen it all over social media. The rave online was correct about this place! The Baristas were so friendly and attentive. I ordered the Haraz iced latte. It's a nice blend between the honey and the Haraz spice. The coffee had a nice rich flavor to it. The inside is very spacious. I didn't order any food but the sweets looked delicious. I am definitely coming back!

First time at Haraz Coffee house. I ordered a caramel macchiato and my husband ordered an ice banana latte. For food, we order the bees bite which was very delicious. We also ordered the pistachio croissant which was also good. Both coffees taste good. this coffee shop has a huge variety of desserts and coffees. This place serves tea, refreshers, frappes, and cloud matcha. Overall the experience was great and will be returning.

Newly opened Yemeni coffee house Haraz, offers a bright and comfortable atmosphere. Light and airy, it's perfect for studying or for taking a moment to enjoy a great cup of coffee. I've been coming here at least twice a week. The staff is consistently amazing. Even during busy hours, the wait time is never more than 10 - 15 mins. Although their menu is comprised of many "cloud" items, the beverages are never sweet. Consistency is what I love most about Haraz.

I'm a visual girly so I love this menu of matchas!

Came here because we wanted to try out this "hot & new" spot in our area. I will say, after our first visit, we immediately wanted to come back! Hubby got an Iced Adeni (haraz spiced cold brew) and I got the Cloud Pistachio Matcha. Both were reeeeally good and didn't need any altering (especially since I'm sensitive to very sugary drinks). As for food, we got the Honey Bites, Baklava Cheesecake, and the Arab Beef Pie. All were 10/10 bites! I might want to order the Baklava cheesecake for my birthday... hint hint to the hubs lol. And yes, we came a second time in less than a week to try some more! We got the Cloud Banana Matcha and the Cloud Dragonfruit. Both were pretty good! Hubby went again a third time to pick something up to go -- he got me the Cloud Peach and I forgot what he got. He also got the Baklava Cheesecake again because WHY NOT. Of all the clouds I've tried so far, Pistachio still ranks supreme for me. We're gonna keep coming because we like everything we've had so far!

Just stopped by Haraz on the way home and tried a chicken puff and a mango matcha latte with almond milk. I've passed by a few times but it was my first time ordering something. This place can get very busy especially in the evening but it has a very busy and exciting energy and seems like a great place to hang with friends and family. The matcha was not my favorite, but the chicken puff was delicious. They have a wide variety of pastries, desserts and drinks to choose from and have plenty of seating inside. Every employee that I spoke with was also very kind but kept working to make sure everyone was being served in a timely manner. This is a really cool spot that opened about a month ago in the Pines area and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new place to try.

more coffee shop reviews on Instagram @coffeehonglics ! Pistachio baklava cheesecake 6/10 good sweetness level too creamy needs more pistachio flavor perfect for cheesecake lovers baklava is a little dry Haraz coffee 8/10 amazing can taste the spice creamy good coffee to milk ratio Salted caramel latte 7/10 perfect sweetness good coffee to milk ratio overpriced coffee isn't super strong which i like Mango dragonfruit refresher w/ lemonade 4/10 tastes like candy super sweet sour tangy aftertaste Overall: 7.7/10 This new coffee shop in Pembroke Pines has gone viral for their signature drinks and desserts Located in a busy plaza with lots of parking but limited if you wanna park right in front of the coffee shop Plenty of seating inside- perfect study space for students or anyone who needs to get some work done. I didn't look if there are outlets but i'm assuming yes In my opinion, drinks are on the pricier side but that's unfortunately every coffee shop nowadays Huge selection of desserts perfect for everyone... and they sell the famous cinnamon rolls from knaus berry farm daily! Overall, great spot to get some work done or catch up with friends/family. I would come back to try the other drinks and desserts

I have been wanting to go here as soon as they opened up. Haraz is a Yemeni coffee shop that has franchises all over . I wanted to try one of the Matcha clouds. I went on a Sunday afternoon. It was busy filled with families and friends . Many people were studying . A very nice vibe for a cafe. I got the honey bee bites. They were delicious ! Tasted home made . Decent prices. I love their varied menu. I am definitely coming back here again !

First time coming to Haraz Coffee and I have to say it was a hit for my family and me. My partner got a salted caramel latte and said it was perfect, with the ideal sweet to strong coffee ratio. My son chose a mango iced matcha and his comment was that it was delicious and you could truly taste the mango. As for me, I went a little out of my comfort zone and chose a saffron latte. I can proudly say I loved it. I was a little nervous because I've only ever had saffron in food and never in coffee, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted. It had a fruity, nutty flavor and the honey was the perfect compliment. The staff was super sweet and helpful while taking our orders. The coffee house itself is very aesthetically pleasing and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I especially loved the mural on the wall and the decor throughout the space. I would truly love to come back again

As soon as you walk in you see how beautiful and spacious this coffee shop is. The decor is really pretty and the shop has a lot of choices of coffee and desserts. As for coffee I chose the banana latte and I ordered the caramel frappe without the whipped cream for my mom. I tried my mom's coffee and hers tasted much better. I didn't like my banana latte and asked the associate if I can get the same coffee as my mom and he was very nice and changed it. As for the dessert I had the bee bite bread and the Biscoff sponge cake. I would've loved the bee bite better if it wasn't soaked with honey. The honey over powered the bread. The Biscoff sponge cake didn't taste good and the cookie was soggy and I didn't taste the cookie at all. The dessert were like $8 each and the ones I chose were not worth the price. The coffee was delicious but I would recommend to share it with someone because they are a big cups. I really would like to try the other coffee and matcha drinks. The parking is nearby and it is free.

The service was pretty good! The pastries were delicious, I tried the tandoori chicken empanada, and the chicken puff pastry along with the potato puff pastry. They were all very tasty. The baklava cheesecake was amazing!! My sister tried the pistachio cloud, and I had the vanilla cloud for iced drinks and they were both very yummy. Highly recommend. Even though they were busy it was a good ambience. Wait time was average.

Another great coffee addition to Pembroke Pines. Haraz introduces Yemeni coffee culture with a modern twist. The coffee is delicious and you can taste the unique spices in the drink. Definitely different from any coffee house in west Broward. Haraz also offers various pastries and desserts. Pro tip: They just opened and seem to be short staffed so be ready to wait.

We ordered a juice, a latte, and some empanadas. The empanadas looked amazing, but unfortunately lacked flavor. The juice was served room temperature when it really could've been colder and more refreshing. The biggest disappointment was the service. After waiting 35 minutes for my latte, I finally had to go ask about it myself. There was no apology, no acknowledgment, just "we'll make it." After another 5 minutes of waiting, I noticed the cashier remind the barista again. She eventually brought the latte to the table, dropped it off, and walked away -- no "thank you for waiting," no apology, nothing. It's a shame because the place has so much potential, but customer service can completely change the experience. Sadly, after this visit, we won't be coming back. They were so approachable, knowledgeable, and fun, that I wanted to support them, so I purchased some coffee. This was on a Thursday morning. The coffee was delivered across the country to my doorstep in Arizona on Saturday - I was super impressed! We made a pot of the Miami Restaurant Employee Relief Fund Blend this morning and it was fabulous. I typically put some steamed almond milk into my coffee but I drank it black (and several cups). It wasn't just me who enjoyed it either. It also passed the test of my judgemental, 43 year old Jewish husband's palate. He always takes his coffee black and this was no exception. I will definitely visit the Per'La coffee shop whenever I make my way back to Miami, but in the meantime, I'm sending love from Phoenix during these crazy times. I know where to look if I ever have questions related to coffee as well! Thanks Team Per'La!

Two cups in the morning, and I was still watching episodes of The Office until 4am... so you know the stuff is good, and probably the most productive I've been in a long time. Since I don't live in Miami, I ordered some of their beans and had them shipped. I got the Lucha Blend in whole bean form and some of the Cold Brew Blend ground up for my summer enjoyment during the heatwaves. I liked them both for different reasons, but the the Lucha Blend was my favorite. It was a dark roast but didn't punch you in the face. It was super smooth and you could get the smoky notes of chocolate with every sip. Don't get me wrong, the cold brew stuff was good too, and again, a small glass will keep you buzzing for hours. I've heard so many great things about Per'La from friends, so I was super happy I was able to support this coffee shop from across the country during COVID-19. Not only was the ordering process super easy via their website, they offer free shipping, and even included a super cute hand-written note showing appreciation too. Huge plus. I ordered on a Thursday and I was drinking their delicious blends by the start of the work-week. I don't know if they're always this fast, but... it was fast. Until I can come in and support them in-person during a future trip to Miami, I know I'll be ordering more of their beans to hold me over until that happens!

Before I ever tasted a single bean, the name stopped me cold. Calusa. A roaster bearing the name of…read morean Indigenous people -- the Calusa, the ancient shell-mound builders, the unconquered lords of South Florida's mangroves and waterways. People who never surrendered. People whose bones are folded into this very soil. As someone who walks through this world carrying Taíno blood and the memory of peoples whose names colonizers tried to erase, that word hit different. It wasn't a gimmick. It wasn't a logo. It was a declaration -- that this land has a story older than any espresso machine, and somebody here understood that. That understanding alone earned my curiosity and my respect before I'd even stepped through the door. "The name carried the weight of a people who never bent. That's the kind of legacy worth building a roastery around." Then I learned the story behind the man behind the roaster -- and it only deepened my respect. Luis Arteaga came home from serving in the United States Marine Corps and did what so many veterans do: he looked for work. No fanfare. No red carpet. Just a man with discipline in his bones and calluses on his hands, trying to find his next mission in a civilian world that doesn't always know what to do with people like that. He found his way to the original owners of Calusa Coffee Roasters. They saw in him what the Corps had always seen -- dependability, grit, and a willingness to learn. They gave him a job. A floor to stand on. And Luis did what Marines do -- he didn't just fill a position, he grew into something greater. Over time, through sweat and dedication and an unmistakable passion for the craft, he rose to become the owner of the very roastery that once took a chance on him. That's not a business story. That's an American story. A veteran's story. And it's exactly the kind of origin that makes a cup of coffee taste like something more than coffee. CALUSA COFFEE ROASTERS IS A SOUTH FLORIDA INSTITUTION Fast forward to today, and Calusa Coffee Roasters isn't just surviving -- it is a staple. Walk into the right cigar bar on a Friday evening and someone at the table will mention the name. Sit down at the right diner counter on a Tuesday morning and a regular will nod toward that familiar bag. In South Florida's rich, layered, cafecito-and-culture coffee landscape, that kind of word-of-mouth is earned over years of consistency, of showing up, of never letting the cup get small. Luis continues to build something that belongs to this community -- rooted in the terroir of a region as complex and layered as its people. The coffee is exceptional. Bold where it should be bold, nuanced where it earns it. The kind of roast that makes you sit down instead of rushing out. That's no accident. That's someone who respects the craft because he was forged in institutions that demand nothing less than your best. "When a Marine finds his mission in a roastery, every bag he puts his name on carries the same standard -- do it right or don't do it at all." Meeting Luis was one of those moments I didn't expect to move me the way it did. We are both moving through the coffee world trying to build something that means something -- something rooted in identity, in service, in the belief that what's in the cup should tell a story worth hearing. And here was a fellow Marine who had walked a road I recognize: uncertain ground, earned footing, and a refusal to quit. And finally, if you are in South Florida and you have not made the pilgrimage to Calusa Coffee Roasters on Commercial Blvd, you are overdue. Go for the coffee -- stay for the story. And if you're lucky enough to meet the man himself, shake his hand. He earned it in more ways than one. To Luis Arteaga and everyone at Calusa: thank you for carrying a name that honors this land. Thank you for honoring the service that shaped you. And thank you for a cup of coffee that carries the weight of all of it without spilling a drop. Semper Fi, brother. Keep roasting.
