As we're going through the tunnel I noticed the brush on the drivers side is not working, just hanging there like a wet noodle. I mentioned it to the guy at the end of the tunnel but he just shrugged his shoulders. Next stop the guy to dry the car and polish the tires. Well the put a lot of effort into pretending to polish the tires. Sunday morning I take my car in for the same wash. Brush is still not working. So I mention it to the guy drying my car. He says oh yea I heard that. I guess there's no plan to fix it. I noticed that the mirror that's not getting brushed is filthy. The dryer guy doesn't seem to care, why should he. Next he puts a dirty rag on my windshield while pretending to polish my tires which left a big smudge. I ask him to clean it and he looks me like I have a lot of nerve. So let's get down to the nitty gritty. In my business I'm very familiar with this type of business. They're known as "cash cows ". That's right stand a couple of monkeys outside and just collect the money. Well what I typically see is when a business starts having financial problems they stop maintaining the equipment. Today was an usually warm day and everyone wanted their cars cleaned. It was a mad house trying to get in as well as trying to drive out after your car was finished. This place is decent, they offer rain insurance with the higher price washes but the guys get a little too lax at times for my liking. I mean if you don't have a groupon you could be paying almost $27 for smudgy windows and filth on your back bumper that was there before you get your car washed (it's happened to me). C'mon! My usual spot is usually $22 before tip and my car looks like it just came out of the showroom. Also heads up there is no shade to sit in here while they dry your car so your left standing/sitting there to roast. I used the high pressure soap and high pressure rinse settings and they were good. Did not use the foam brush, the brush looked worn out. Also used their vacuums which they have plenty of, $2 gets you over 3 mins and those also accept credit cards. The vacuum I paid for was not good though, very low suction. But I will definitely come back for the self car wash when I'm in the area.
