I ended up waiting 1.5 hours until 12:30 PM. When I finally got in, the documents they couldn't open on their computer -- even though I had double-checked everything before sending. Because of the long wait, I received a $63 parking ticket. Silvia accepted my forms but completely missed one of my W-2s in the calculation. When I politely asked her to explain the numbers (the refund came out much lower than expected), she became visibly irritated, raised her voice, and told me she would not prepare my taxes. She then kicked me out in a rude manner in front of other clients. I came prepared with a clear mileage summary, all 1099s, W-2s, and supporting documents. The lack of professionalism and basic attention to detail was very disappointing, especially after waiting so long and incurring a parking fine. I do not recommend this office.

What really matters in those situations is how a company handles it afterward, and that is where this experience completely fell apart. My taxes may have been filed correctly, but the communication was not clear. I did not want 2026 quarterly estimated tax payments set up, and I never understood that this was what was happening. I believed the amounts shown were a payment plan for my 2025 taxes, not separate 2026 estimated payments. Because of the language barrier and the lack of a clear explanation, I did not understand what I was agreeing to. As a result, more money was taken from my account than I expected, which caused me to become overdrafted. When I reached out to get help resolving the issue, I was hoping they would at least acknowledge the misunderstanding and try to make it right in some way. Instead, when I spoke with William at the end, he was very unhelpful and basically made me feel like I was just out of luck. I was told there was nothing they could do, that I needed to deal with my bank myself to block future payments, and that they would not offer even a partial refund. That response is a big part of why I decided to leave this review. If they had simply handled the miscommunication better, shown some understanding, and at least offered a partial refund or some effort to make things right, I honestly think I would have been okay. On top of that, I feel the $700 fee was too high for the level of service and communication I received. Accuracy is important, but so is making sure your client actually understands what is being filed and what payments are being set up. Overall, I left this experience feeling confused, unsupported, and financially stressed. I understand mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled afterward was unacceptable. I would not use this firm again.
