Just wanted to update the past review because this may be helpful to those not familiar with the area. The nail salon is on the west side of the street, if you are coming from the 91 freeway, you will need to veer to the right and go towards sampson ave. If you get confused, call the salon. Or of all else fails, go through the shell gas station. This whole intersection is a learning curve since construction of the bridge.

I have gone here twice for mani/pedi. It is a quiet, hidden gem. The service is great. The best part is that they accommodate last minute appointments and my nails. In which, gel comes off in days not weeks for me. The woman was creative to ensure my nail polish will stay on longer.

I had the best service at Cali Nails! I was accommodated right away! Most of all I did not have a baby sitter and my babies were welcome. Michael hooked me up! He revived my nails! I previously had gel x and they tore my nails up so bad! I will forever stick to the classic acrylics!

Stopped by Cali Nails & Spa for a manicure and pedicure service. I was greeted by Michael who promptly set up a spa pedicure chair for me. The location is very clean and employees are kind. Tracy, the owner, took some time to chat with me too. I had the most thorough nail services by Michael and my nails came out so cute. Thank you Cali Nails! I've become your regular. I've been coming to Cali Nails since they opened in 2012. The ladies are amazing especially Tracy. She's been an OG here and I will follow her wherever she goes. I highly recommend their pedicure services here it's the best I have had in riverside county. Super inexpensive prices. Vicky takes her time on my pedicures and the massage she does with it makes me want to fall asleep lol. I paid $35 for deluxe pedicure everything included where every where else minimum charge for what is included here (else where $60 or up) it's a hard to see because of the construction but it's better than your places that are nice only cause their interior design is luxurious or phot worthy. This place has been around for a while you can tell and Vicky never disappoints I drive all the way from cajalco (lake Mathews) to get my Pedi done by her now cause every where else sucks and is rushed and super expensive not here !! read more

Come visit my girl, Tracy. she does a phenomenal job on hands & toes as well as doing one of the quickest French tip jobs I've had. highly recommend this place as it's clean. would recommend making an appointment, but I always walk in & they don't usually take too long lol I also recommend coming through the back of the shop off Buchanan as it gets busy to turn on the light. Though I have experience doing manis, I never had the chance to get one done myself. My boyfriend and I came in on August 10th, over an hour before closing. I did not make an appointment; however, the man at the front desk was accommodating and was able to get us helped out. I got the #9 + gel polish pedi as well as a Gel X mani. The pedi outcome was okay, but my nails were uneven and the process was painful. The Gel X was horrible. There was excess paint run, and she was very obviously rushing through everything, with one nail being crooked. I also asked for an ombre french tip style nail but the nail tech only applied one coat of the same color. The main kicker was that I asked for a SINGLE nail art design on one finger, and my nail tech, Winnie, refused. The techs were already tired from a day's work and were not enthusiastic about doing their jobs. They were complaining in Viet when people with appointments came in 30 mins before closing. At the end, my boyfriend pointed out that these nails were not like the inspo, and I was denied service. The man at the front desk then invited us back the following day to get a free service to fix the nails. We came back the next day and it got so much worse. #1: He lied. He was going to charge us additionally for the nail art. #2: He was protecting Winnie's refusal of service by saying it was a miscommunication. I understand Vietnamese, and Winnie completely understood the service I was asking for and said NO. I doubt a grown woman at a nail salon doesn't understand when a client is asking for a design. #3: The man in the front also tried to play it off like I asked for a single coat of color when the reference photo shown was using two different colors. He said verbatim, "If you angle your fingers at the light it looks like the photo". Even if that was the case, the result fails to look like the photo. ?????????????? #4: The man KNEW he was in the wrong and offered last minute when we got up to left to do the free service. It was so unprofessional and so disheartening, especially as my first experience at a nail salon. I paid 125 in total (30 for pedi, 75 for mani). Please give your money to businesses with accountability and actually want to preform the service they provide, because this one isn't it.

I came here to get my toes done before my wedding because of all the great reviews, but I was very…read moredisappointed. I'm a nail tech myself, so this was a treat for a special occasion. I don't like to hover when someone is doing their job so I asked for the pedicure with a 10 minute massage, my nails to be cut as short as possible, and a very square edge. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of those things. I always found it unnecessary when they show you the timer for your massage time, but now I understand why it was needed because the massage was at most five minutes. My nails were left at different lengths with very uneven filing. At the end of my service I asked the tech to fix my big toe where some of the gel polish had pooled by the cuticle and she tried with a hand file and I believe the only way to fix it was with an e-file to get it level again. I normally wouldn't give a review, but there was a notable difference in how their regular customers were treated and how I was treated as a first time customer. I waited for about 15 minutes before they could see me and throughout the duration of my service was not offered water or a snack (as advertised on their Yelp), but as soon as a regular came in they were offered a soda. Overall, I was left with a very bad first impression of this salon and will not return. I will give them credit though for using all new files and callous scrubbers, I know some places try to reuse those.
