I went to Cali Nails on Tuesday for the first time with my mom. First of all, i appreciated that they answered the phone! Other salons either had a mailbox full or their phone kept ringing. Thomas picked up the phone and let me know when I could come in. I got gel nails and she got a pedicure. My nails were too long and had been cracked, and I let Thomas, my manicurist, know what I wanted. Thomas did a great job of communicating with me what he was doing to repair my nails and why, and his execution of my design was exactly my vision! My mom thought Tina, her pedicurist, did an amazing job. Even after she accidentally damaged one of her nails she painted after we left the salon, Tina was really helpful and kind in repairing my mom's nail when we returned. For the service, pricing, and the results, I have found my new nail salon! Thank you, Cali Nails!

This place is under new ownership. Where do I even begin...I am obsessed with my nails! I was in a hurry and stumbled on this salon and little did I know I got lucky to have Jenny do my nails. She pays attention to detail so well, that I am grateful I randomly found this location. If you want perfection, go see Jenny! I am obsessed, and I will be back again. I went back inside and told them I wasnt going to pay for them and I wanted them OFF! The lady did however tell me she would redo them for me but after seeing the quality of her work, there was no way I was going to let her touch my nails again! I have NEVER in all my 25 years of living seen such horrible nail work in all my life!! Pictures dont even serve any justice for how bad my nails really were.... If you plan on coming here to get your nails done, I hope you have better luck than I did!!!!

This was my first time coming here but it definitely won't be my last time! I got my nails done by Thomas and i'm in love with them!! The staff here was so friendly and inviting. He captured the simple elegant look I was aiming for! The nails are so sturdy and they show no signs of lifting! I recommend coming here for sure! You won't regret it!!

I have been a loyal customer to Jenny for the past 10 years! I love getting my nails done by Jenny, I use to make her do all types of fancy nail art when I was younger and she would kill it every time! I also recommend Tina for toes! HOLY SMOKES Tina is incredible. At times I get ingrown toenails and Tina does wonders, I leave every pedi feeling like I'm leaving with new toes. She relieves the pressure that I didn't notice I had. This is the issue I have with salons. When we speak up and ask nicely for something, we usually get mumbling and attitude so people end up posting on Yelp about their experiences. Nail salon anxiety is real! You don't feel safe to ask for certain things... I asked for the nail tech to take her time and clean areas I wanted to focus more on. She ended up speaking in her language mumbling.. then giving me attitude and I was told "let her do her thing" No, When we're asking for something specifically as a new client, at least hear me out and then do your thing. If you want a rushed pedicure and not be heard or acknowledged.. Come here....... read more

I found my new nail salon! My regular nail lady is nowhere to be found so thought I'd try this place out since it was highly recommended by my neighbours. Jenny and Tina did a wonderful job on my nails. Didn't rush through the process like some places do. They took their time and it felt as if they really enjoyed what they do...making art. Really satisfied how clean and safe their facility is. They wore masks the entire time, have sanitizers throughout the salon, both doors open to help with ventilation, a fan to circulate the air, marked spots on the floor as well as signs to remind everyone to practice social distancing and plexi glass to separate the chairs. Definitely will be visiting them regularly! read more

I'm gonna give some grace here but I was disappointed from the moment I sat in the pedicure chair. Ignored for longer than I think I should have been. The nail technician didn't even ask me what I wanted. I had to tell her because I felt she was finishing up my foot scrub that was approximately 10 seconds. To move onto the soaking then polish. I wanted callus removal and selected the service. I saw a look of disappointment maybe she was ready to go home. Then 3 different people asked how I was paying. I said card and the guy says well I just closed it down. I'm like then why ask me. Just not the environment I'll subject myself to. read more

Pretty displeased with the mani and pedi service. Polish chipped off within a few days and the female owner I believe, Jenny Le was quite rude and snarky. Asked me to pay her with Venmo, and she also asked me not to mention nails in the comment section, most likely to evade taxes. read more

I love this place. I came upon it because it's close to another place I go to regularly and I'm glad I found it. Everyone there is very friendly, the service is excellent, and it's super clean and comfortable. Jenny, in particular, did a great job on my nails! Love this place!! Jenny is amazing. Followed her from Long Beach to this new place. She's great at what she does and actually loves her job. It's a nice quiet place to relax while getting them done. So please please please don't be that person that brings your children with you if they're going to act a fool and you're not going to parent. This isn't a daycare. read more

I have been going to Jenny for 10+ years now and followed her from Fancy Nails to this new place and it has been so amazing! Never a disappointment! I never break or lift a nail! My nails have always lasted longer when Jenny does them compared to when I've had to go to someone else at another salon..the shop is very open and spacious, there is a big parking lot with lots of spaces and everyone is VERY friendly! If you want your nails done right then this is the place to go! read more

I have mixed feeling to be honest. The person who did my hair was very sweet which made this review…read morehard to write. My hair came out pretty, but it wasn't what I asked for. - Cut: The layers weren't done well so it sort of resembles a long mullet at times...kind of a mushroom shape effect. Feels like I have only 2 layers I'm descent with hair so can mask it a bit with curls. - The highlights are fine but they are old school/ going to root all over and not the ballyage effect I asked for. That said, they were blended nicely. - The color is red/orange which bothers me more than the cut. I said multiple times I didnt want red or warm... my whole head, not just the highlights, got toned a fairly strong red hugh. I invested in blue and purple shampoos trying to tone it down. It helped a bit. I did give her feedback but I don't want to go back to get it fixed because I've been back once already and I'm not confident in her ability to fix it at this point. She did offer to try again. I think i gotta wait this one out a few months and then get a trim and/or tone from someone else. Facility was cute and clean, free parking out back. Waited a month to give the review as I wanted to give it time to settle in.

Low fade or medium fade... it doesn't matter. He lines me up. I look forward to every haircut because he is super consistent. I don't have to worry about getting a bad cut ever! I recommend Mike 100%. I even sent both my kids (24 and 20 year olds) and they've been happy with their cuts too.

The only other person who's ever made my hair look this perfect was a stylist I went to in Japan. Violet is amazing at both cutting and coloring. And i am so happy that I decided to do so. Nancy did my Brazilian and was very detail oriented and quick. She used the hot wax and paper method with small sections. I appreciate the small sections she did! The salon it self was very inviting, beautiful, and relaxing. They offer other services like body and scalp massages, mani and pedis, and even lash extensions and semi permanent makeup. Cannot wait to schedule my next session!

I followed Jenny here from her old shop. What a drastic change in atmospheres! So excited for her & what a wonderful new shop. You can always count on her for amazing nails. Tina does my feet and they are flawless & baby smooth. I like to get creative with my nails & Jenny as always up for a challenge. They're even bringing back an air brush machine... Imagine they ombré nails that'll be created! Mothers...this is NOT a place to bring your unruly children. If you can control them & not interrupt my zen time, fine but allowing them to run all over the shop is NOT acceptable. Thank you Jenny for creating such a fabulous experience. read more

Once you've made a connection with a nail tech don't let her go! I have been seeing Jenny for a few years now and followed her to this shop, she's amazing with acrylics, gels, and dip powder. My new jam is almond shape nails with dip powder with an acrylic tip. Thinner than traditional acrylic, less wear on the nail and the color doesn't wear off on the edges. SO amazing! I've been going to Jenny since I was little and only trust her to do my nails! I've been with her since she was at Fancy Nails & will travel wherever she goes! I've never broken a nail and always get compliments on how my nails look! They have so many pretty colors and cool & intricate designs to choose from and everyone is so nice & personable!
