I have been going to OTGP since 2016 when the shop opened. Jason and his fellow barbers are awesome and provide top notch service. The shop has a great vibe and always makes me feel like family. My oldest son is in the military and is stationed on the east coast, whenever he is in SoCal for a visit he always makes a trip to OTGP for a fresh cut before returning to his duty station. I usually cut my own hair by just buzzing it, but today I felt like splurging and getting my hair cut professionally for the first time in 5 years. The shop reminds me of old school barbershops with all kinds of memorabilia on the walls and the usual barber-customer jokes, but new school with rock music playing in the background. Several barbers were working and immediately greeted me, asking if I was a walk-in, but I had made an online appointment that day for 3:15 which was fairly easy. Today I decided on a skin-0 on the sides, 1 on top, high fade from my barber, "Bowzer", and he did an EXCELLENT job! I have a round head with a large swirl in the back of my head so fades can be complicated. He really took his time and got the fade nice and symmetrical around my 7 5/8 size dome. He followed up with a razor clean up to the back of my neck and hit it with some aftershave for that cool-burn for no razor bumps. The back of my head has never felt so smooth! He finished it off with a warm steamy towel on the back of my head and a percussion-gun massage of my traps and upper back. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I have an event to look super-sharp for! read more

A little disappointed with the communication and customer service today. I was having trouble using the website due to the site being weird and decided to call in. I relayed the situation over the phone and asked for an appointment at 3 (the one I saw available at the site) and was told in to come earlier if I can. Arrived at 2:40 and was told by all employees "she would be right out" and then at 3:10, I checked in to see how long I would have to wait, but the person is not even in the building.... I wish they were just honest and told me that the wait was going to be an hour or that the appointment would be at 3:30 instead of just telling me that it was fine for me to take an appointment at 3 (and come in earlier). In terms of calling in for appointments, I would say my experience with this place became a waste of time, but when I used to use the site, everything was good and smooth. read more

Made an appointment, was told to wait a couple minutes he's running behind. No big deal, so I wait about 20-30 min until he finishes the haircut he's giving. After he's done and starts cleaning up, his friend or something sits down in the chair and they start talking. Not getting a haircut, just chatting. I asked if I still had the appointment and was just told to hangout maybe 15-20 min more.
