I stopped by TT Head Spa on 3/24 after calling a few other salons that didn't answer, and I'm so glad I did. It's conveniently close to my house, though a bit tucked away, which makes it feel like a hidden gem. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a woman who was incredibly kind, genuine, and welcoming something that honestly feels rare to find these days. Even without an appointment, she was able to get me in within about 30 minutes for a wash, cut, and style, which is almost unheard of with how most salons operate now. I'll admit, I came in not feeling very confident about my hair. I've had some rough experiences in the past, and my hair had been through a lot. I just knew the ends needed to go, but I didn't have much direction beyond that. The stylist (I wish I remembered her name) completely changed that for me. She was honest, but never pushy, she really listened. Instead of overcutting like some places do, she respected what I wanted while still guiding me on what my hair needed. I trusted her to remove the damaged ends and add some body to my very fine, straight hair and she did exactly that. I left feeling genuinely happy with my hair, which hasn't happened in a long time. The salon itself was also very clean and well-kept, and even though she mentioned missing some calls earlier, it was clear she truly values the clients who walk through the door and gives them her full attention. Overall, this was such a positive experience. It didn't cost an arm and a leg, I felt heard, and I left feeling confident again. The scalp analysis takes up a decent chunk of time and it's mostly applying things than leaving it on and taking it off. The entire appointment felt very rough and rushed instead of relaxing, which is the whole reason I booked a head spa in the first place. My scalp honestly felt sore afterward, and during the blow dry the lady was very rough almost smacking the brush to my head even after telling me i have a send scalp. She was even pulling out hair that appeared to still be stuck from another client. It felt very unhygienic and uncomfortable. The lobby was so cute and they had beverages and snacks on the side (self serve). I got the standard scalp service that was listed on Groupon. You first start off with a scalp analysis, then your attendant goes into detail of what type of products you need depending on what your scalp needs. They use Korean and Japanese products. Then you're brought into a room where the magic begins. There's a water light on the ceiling. The products used smelled so good. That whole scalp experience was so relaxing, especially when the water ring was on! Then your scalp was reanalyzed and you'll see the difference. After that experience, my attendant dried and styled my hair! She suggested that curling my hair would look nice so I trusted her and she definitely pulled through with that Dyson. She offered some insight on what products I should buy (I asked her about the products) and she wasn't trying to scam me or upsell in any way. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I am sharing this feedback to help the management improve their customer experience. I booked a group session with a friend for her birthday, expecting a relaxing spa environment. Unfortunately, our experience was far from peaceful. Throughout the service, we could hear kids running around outside the rooms where we're supposed to be relaxing. While the technician who treated me was kind and took her time, the lady who served my friend rushed through the entire process. At one point, this technician even pushed me from behind to move me toward the scalp examination chair, which felt aggressive and unprofessional. The staff also spoke in such low whispers that we could barely understand the explanation of our scalp conditions. Unlike my experience, my friend was not shown any of the products being used. No refreshments or tea were offered either.To make matters worse, I was double-charged an extra $230 at check-out. When I questioned the clueless employee, she mumbled and then had the nerve to question the tip amount. I had to call the spa later to get my money refunded after the double charge. Had I not checked, they would have kept the overcharge. I tried to convince myself it wasn't that bad, but for the price, the service quality was unacceptable. I hope TT Head Spa uses this feedback to correct these issues. Maybe in the future I can return and have a good experience. read more

Had my hair dyed here as well and I didn't feel the dryness that's usually felt after dying my hair. I've noticed the difference in my scalp health.
