They were up front and told me that since my model was new to them (11 Lexus CT200h) they needed to take their time to make sure they knew what they were doing. They coulda botched it and rushed to get the whole job done but instead they only completed the rear of the windows with a promise to reschdule for the front. The work was nothing less than superb. The first time I went here, I knew I was in a good place but man did he take a long time to finish the job! HE told me 5pm but I picked it up around 11pm. I wound up hanging out in the shop around 8 or 9pm and watched the owner finish up the back windows of my car and all I can say is WOW! He took such good care of my car and made sure that every piece and part was accounted for and put back better than it was when it left the factory. The man is great at what he does and my end result was simply spectacular! almost 3 years later and my tint hasn't shrank, bubbled, peeled, anything at all! It looks just as good now as it did when I first got it installed. In fact, I liked his work on my car so much, I brought my dad's XC70 in to get all 7 panes of glass darkened and that car looks just as great as mine does. My dad sprang for the expensive stuff and he had more windows than me but for my own car, what I got and how much I paid was absolutely spectacular! Time was spent going over tint options and what would be best for my application/needs. I went across the street to get a bite to eat & to pass some time. I got a call about 2 hours later & it was completed. The tint looks great & is very reasonable for quality product. I needed to have some tint applied to some windows at my business. I called several places who either didn't want to come out for such a small job, or didn't tint windows that couldn't be driven into their shop. Called Cali Tint and they said they'd be happy to. They quoted me a price that at first seemed kind of high but after thinking about the fact that they're in Dublin and I'm in Berkeley meant they had to pay someone for a couple hours of travel time plus gas etc. The work looks great and when they were done the work areas was spotless. This place is extremely professional and they do great work. I have had 5 cars tinted and this by far and away was the best experience I've ever had. They gave me a ride to work while they worked on my car. They did an amazing job on the tint as well as a great job explaining the difference between the different options. When I went to pick up the car he asked me if I was aware that my front drivers seat was stuck. I of course knew about it and even took it to my mechanic who tested some fuses and couldn't figure out the problem so he was going to research it and get back to me. These guys took my seat apart and in 10 minutes found the problem (faulty wiring) and fixed it for me for FREE and I didn't even ask them to do it. I highly recommend these guys. read more

I'll agree with everyone about the owner being a perfectionist. I've taken all my cars to him and he won't let it out the door if there is the slightest imperfection.
