Our 18 year old daughter was hit by another driver as she was headed home after working 3 months as an intern in DC this summer. Our daughter had AAA tow the car to this location without making an appointment on a Friday afternoon. Instead of sending her away, Tommy talked her through the options and truly treated her as an adult. As the car wasn't going to be ready for at least a week, we flew our daughter home to TN and then I flew up to DC the following Thursday and picked up the vehicle. The Caliber Collision team did a great job of keeping me posted on the status of the parts and the repair so I could plan my trip accordingly. The day the repair was completed, Tommy was willing to ride with me to make sure the car rode smoothly and that there were no issues with the alignment. After the test ride, he even offered the locations of truck stops and repair centers on my route home to TN, just in case I had any issues. Our daughter was also impressed with the way that she was treated. In a day where excellent customer service is rare in any industry, it was such a nice surprise to be treated so well and know that the car was repaired satisfactorily and ahead of schedule. I have been going to this location of Caliber Collision for over 5 years with two vehicles. After I got a new 2018 BMW, it was a magnet for the crazies and has been hit now (3) times requiring auto body repair work as the dealerships no longer do body work. I was initially a little concerned as BMWs now have so many sensors and computers. Regardless, each and every time Ricardo Cosme has taken great care of my car and makes sure to take care of any issues after the fact. In fact, just this week, I had a problem with the hood latches that the dealership did not know how to fix...which is crazy as it's their car brand...and Ricardo took care of it quickly and at no charge. Excellent Body Shop!!!! Estimators are well spoken, understanding, and kind. They will explain the process to you and put you at ease. It's never a 'fun' visit when someone has to take off of work and take their vehicle for untimely repairs at a bodyshop, however this company definitely takes care of you. I appreciate the accommodating service, including after hours drop off (be sure to sign the key drop envelope after supplying information - work cannot start without your signature - but if you forget to sign, as I did, they can send an online form to sign), as well as completing the work ahead of estimated schedule, and allowing me to leave the Enterprise rental car with them, which made for hassle-free pick up. Oh, and the car looked fine, including flawless paint matching. They repaired, rather than replaced, the quarter panel, which I prefer because waste is overwhelming the planet. Good job! read more

I can't express how great my experience was with them..particularly Ricardo. We had repair work done a year ago and just got back from a trip recently only to notice that a very visible component was missing from our front bumper. (which had been part of the repairs done a year ago) When I brought my car into Caliber to inquire about ordering the part, Ricardo reordered the component on the spot and installed it the next day. I brought my car to Caliber Collision after my insurance company recommended there services. With this being my first auto accident I was very shaken and confused about what I should do next. Took my GTI back in December 2020 to replace the side skirts after my wheels and tires were stolen. They did a great job and I was very satisfied, plus the managers were great to work with. Fast forward to August 2021 and side skirt was loose, so I stopped in and spoke with a manager. So helpful and friendly, plus he had one of the techs to fix the issue for me. I read the sign outside that said appointments are required for estimates and drop off but I took a chance of just going in and asking, the front desk lady did inform me it is by appointment only but she still took time out of day and look for an advisor to just look at my vehicle for me. Whoever the big scruffy advisor looked at my Honda and gave me his honest opinion on how much my repairs will cost and did not sugar coat it for me was all I needed. I had my car towed by the city of DC and they bent my car door in the process, causing me a lot of unexpected stress. I had swiped a pole in my garage a few months back and failed our state inspection because of it, even though there wasn't much damage. I just needed my headlight readjusted so I took my car to a couple places who charged me over $400... I checked out caliber collision to see if they could help me out for a little less of a cost and they fixed it up no problem for no fee at all! They are awesome! I lost a battle with a parking garage pillar. :( I have a small dent and paint damage. I didn't want to pay to fix the dent (I've done that in the past... pricey), but I wanted the paint issue fixed so the car wouldn't rust. I came in for a paint estimate and to my surprise KJ got the paint damage buffed and primed for me for FREE! Now I have sometime to save up to get it painted with the top coat color, and I don't have to worry about damage to my car. Thank you so much!!
