I am incredibly grateful for the well-oiled machine business practice of the folks from Porsche Arlington. They continue surpassing my expectations even after less than a year since I purchased my car. I live in Florida and haven't been to the DC area since November 2024. The timing couldn't have worked better because my car was due for a significant service this month (May 2025), coinciding with my trip up north. Junehee coordinated with the Service Department and arranged for Sergey to pick up my car from my apartment and have it serviced. Sergey was friendly and professional and constantly contacted me throughout the process. He even offered and applied coupons to the total, which helped with the cost of the service. My battery was still under warranty and was replaced with a new one. I had a last-minute change to my trip, and Sergey was kind enough to hold my car at the dealer until I arrived yesterday. They were already en route to drop off my car and turned around after I informed him of my flight change. I texted Sergey to request an associate drop off my car today or tomorrow. The car was delivered in less than two hours and washed twice because, according to Sergey, "it got dusty." Jesse dropped off my car a few minutes ago without incident. I no longer trust this dealership. I brought my Cayenne in due to an excessive amount of condensation that builds up in one of my headlights. The service rep who was supposed to facilitate the warranty inquiry and repair did not communicate with me efficiently. A few days had gone by when I called for a status and according to him he was waiting to hear back from the warranty people. I called back again and he told me they recommended an aftermarket part but the dealership turned it down because they wouldnt be able to guarantee it. He then told me they would need to get back to us. I called back a few days later to get an update, nothing. I even tried emailing, no update. So I waited. On the final call...2.5-3 weeks later, I call and the rep tells me that the warranty people denied to replace it citing some clause in the warranty. Now, I was upset for several reasons. 1. If this was a legitimate reason, then why wasnt that communicated in the beginning. I believe it was an excuse to get out of making the warranty repair. 2. I paid good money for extra warranty and never really used it. You would think they could have done me that one solid. 3. When I called the last time, the rep told me it was denied days ago. Why would I need to keep calling to get a status check. I had to call the assigned service rep way too many times. When the warranty claim was denied, it shouldn't have taken several days to find out. It was like the rep really didnt care. Even after I called him out about the lack of communication he seemed to care less. Since that time, I never take my car back to that dealership. The first two ('19 Cayenne e-hybrid, '21 911 Turbo S) were when I was living in Alexandria, and the experience was so good that I bought the next one ('23 Taycan GTS) while living in California (and took delivery at the LA Porsche Experience Center) and the current one ('25 Taycan GTS) after moving to NY State - the sales process and the people involved are that good. Porsche Arlington ships cars everywhere in the U.S., but I took delivery in VA so my wife and I could visit our friends in the area, and I wanted to speak to the team I had worked with in the past: General Manager, Michael Nguyen; General Sales Manager, Victor Coronel; Sales Manager, Kody Wood; Finance Director, Donald Kim and for the first time on this visit Brand Ambassador, Abdu Rahman Quatarra. Here's the thing--these gentlemen worked together to coordinate the transaction in a seamless and professional manner. Credit to the senior managers for creating a great business environment for the customer. It's about "the tone at the top". My wife and I noticed that there was a lot of energy at the dealership among employees and customers. Fine for warranty work since they just charge Porsche North America for reimbursement . Once the car is out of warranty, I think it makes sense to seek independent shop. I wish I went to an independent shop earlier probably would've saved thousands of dollars and more personalized care. Labor rates are exorbitant. They're very expensive because they have a lot of overhead to pay. The shop is cutting edge, but with that comes extra cost and maintenance that is passed on to the customer it seems. Turnover also has been an issue. My suggestion is that they come up with more reasonable rates and transparency. They would retain more customers, especially those out of warranty. read more

I was hopeful the early reviews were wrong, so I took my car to Porsche Arlington for its convenient location. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a mistake. While driving locally, I got a warning for low tire pressure on the rear driver's side. The next day, I brought the car in to replace the tire. There were no other customers waiting, so I explained the issue. After checking my tire and wheel coverage policy, they informed me they didn't carry the tire in stock but could order it for same-day delivery. However, after contacting their wholesaler, they said the tire couldn't be delivered that day. I agreed to leave the car until Monday, when the tire would arrive. By Monday afternoon, I hadn't heard from them, so I called for an update. Hassan, the service agent, told me the tire had just arrived, and I could pick up the car later in the day. After paying the deductible, I was on my way. However, a few days later, I received another tire pressure warning on the same tire, despite not having driven the car since Monday. I returned to the service center, where Hassan suggested I back up the car so he could check for visible damage but found nothing. I asked them to check the rim and tire sensor. On Monday, Hassan left a message saying the tire had been replaced again due to a small piece of glass in the tread. I was doubtful, and Hassan said he would drive the car the next day to confirm no further issues. On Thursday, Hassan informed me the tire was losing pressure again due to a bent wheel, which should have been checked the first time. He said he would submit a claim to replace both the tire and wheel. By Saturday, I hadn't received an update, so I called and was told the insurance claim only covered part of the cost, leaving me with a balance for the replacement. Frustrated, I asked Hassan for clarification. He later explained he couldn't access the claim details that day because he was not in the office. I contacted my insurance company directly and confirmed the claim was fully covered, contradicting what the dealership had told me. On Monday, I received a claim summary showing that the dealership had requested $3,450 for the wheel, but insurance had only approved $2,468. Hassan insisted the dealer's wholesale price for the wheel was $3,450, but I questioned how the wholesale price could be higher than the retail price of $3,107. From what I can see, they added additional labor charges that were not submitted to the insurance company. This needed to be appealed, since the purpose of insurance is to cover costs with minimal out-of-pocket expenses, but I was left with high costs and no clear explanation and I've never had a wheel claim. Now, I have to play middleman to get a clear explanation of why the dealership and insurance company has such an extreme gap in price. Just terrible service. Avoid at all costs. Long story longer, I'm not sure how this service department was trained, but after being a Porsche customer for the past 5 years, I've never had an issue with my protection plans at any other dealership. This is a different sort of review. I called their store because I sell cars - a different brand - but part of the VW-Audi Group. I had a question regarding a tax issue for a local customer. When another dealer calls me, I try to support and help as best as I can. Not all dealers reciprocate. I spoke to their head of F&I and was able to get some clear direction about some tax changes that had just occurred - one that the DMV couldn't answer correctly! I can say that every single person I spoke to was helpful and got me the correct answers. They fo not answer tje phones; gives misinformation; and just doesn't seem to care. My Porsche Cayenne has been in their hands for almost 1 1/2 weeks (check engine light). This is the second time. RUN, do not walk away from Porsche of Arlington. My parents had my bumper replaced on my 2016 Cayenne S last May. A month ago I realized that a piece of my bumper (passenger side) had fallen off. I brought my car into a different dealership (because I have since moved to Dallas) who informed me that the bumper was not installed correctly and that the same piece on the driver side of the vehicle was also extremely loose and at risk of falling off as well. I reached out to the dealership multiple times and was told they would get right back to me. It took me one whole month and countless calls and emails for me to finally get a response.... the response basically saying "you have driven your car since we replaced the bumper so it is not our problem." This is after two other Porsche dealerships have advised me that the bumper was not installed correctly and this should 100% be covered by the warranty of their work. Now I am looking at spending $1,200 to fix a bumper that I spent $5,000 10 months ago to have replaced because of lousy work done by Porsche of Arlington. I have submitted a claim with Porsche of North America who was also unable to get the dealership to call them back. They are working at appealing at a higher level. NOT ACCEPTABLE to be treated this way by any company, let alone one that prides themselves on the highest level of customer service. read more

STAY AWAY FORM THIS DEALER! I bought a 2018 911 from them for just under 90k. About thirty days later and less than 1k miles, my car had practically every brake failure message you can have pop up. I contacted service who did not return my call. Then I contacted my salesman who, after speaking said they would fix my issues with an employee discount on parts but full price on labor! I understand that normal wear and tear is not covered by my extended warranty. However, there is an implied warranty of merchantability. I tried to discuss this with multiple members of management. My husband and I purchased our (very gently) used Mazda3 hatchback here. Ruben was our salesman and he was personable and easy to work with. Honestly, we were becoming frustrated with our car shopping experience as bouncing around between salesmen and car dealerships had been less than fun so far. Lots of people kept trying to sell us cars that we didn't want. We were looking for a particular model of Mazda with specific features and had been having trouble locating one locally. We noticed online that this Porsche dealership had picked up exactly what we were looking for, so we made an appointment to go check it out. I have to say, our experience here was very laidback, much more so than I was expecting. I think it's because they are used to people coming in and dropping a whole bunch of money on Porsches. Either you want a Porsche or you don't, so the sales guys didn't pressure us like at other dealerships we visited. It was so refreshing. Also, they didn't make us feel like second-class citizens when we weren't there to buy a Porsche, and they were good sports about letting us take pictures with a "SOLD" sign in front of a 911 (that we most certainly did not buy). They also made the financing and plating process super easy. And you know what? When we are ready to buy a Porsche, I will probably go back here. read more

When I made the appointment, I was told that the car would be in and out in one day. Due to a power failure the day before, the Service Center was backed up and when I went to drop off my vehicle, I was told it would take more than a day. My options were to continue with the Service (it took a month to get the appointment) or figure out a way to get home from work. It would have been nice to be notified the night before, so I could make arrangements to get back and forth to work. My Service rep offered to pay for a Lyft to take me home. I live in Woodbridge and did not want to sit in traffic over an hour to get home. I paid $399 to have the drains cleared in the front cabin. Water leaks inside the car in the foot area on both the driver and passenger side. I have read online that this is a design flaw of the Cayenne. The Service should include clearing the drain lines free of charge because of the bad design. Before I got home, water was leaking on my feet. I dropped the Cayenne off the next day to get the drains cleared again. Once again, before I got home, water was leaking in on both sides. When I engaged with my Service rep, I was told she would call me to schedule me to bring the car in again once they had a loaner vehicle available so they could keep my car longer than a day to fix the problem. After about 3 weeks, I emailed my Service rep and got no response. I just called and got an appointment 6 weeks from now to bring in my vehicle and get a loaner car. Daily, the car leaks water on my feet. I cannot wear nice shoes to drive. I wear flipflops and then change into my shoes once I get to my destination. For a $90K car, this is unsatisfactory. I previously owned a Lexus and their Service Center actually provided stellar service and communicated with the car owners. They called when they said they would call. This Porsche Service Center does not. UPDATE - 5 July On July 1st, Porsche Arlington responded to my review above, requesting that I contact them via email. On July 1st at 1 pm, I sent them the below email with photos. On July 5th at 10:40 am, I called the Service Center to speak with my service rep. It is an hour later and I am still waiting for a call back. Attached are photos from this week with the water inside of my car. The water now leaks under the WeatherTech mats and will ruin my car. I am afraid that mold will begin to grow and the water will do permanent damage to the car because I can never get it to fully dry. I literally wear flip flops to drive and then change into my shoes at my destination because water continues to leak on my feet. Every night when I get home, I have to towel out the water from my car. On 24-25 May, I had the car serviced and the cowl drains cleaned for $399. I contacted you immediately after I got home with the car on May 25th and informed you water was still leaking inside on the driver and passenger sides. I then returned my car to the Service center on May 26th for the issue to be fixed. After picking up the car on May 26th, again by the time I drove home there was water leaking inside the car. I notified you immediately. You then said you would call me back when a loaner car was available for me to bring in the car. I emailed you on June 10th to ask about the loaner car and an appointment. You did not respond. I phoned on June 15th. You were not available but they informed me a loaner car would be available on July 28th and made an appointment for me. I cannot wait until July 28th to get this water issue resolved. If Porsche Arlington cannot accommodate an appointment for my car next week to fix this water issue, I would like a refund of the $399 I paid. I will take my car to another Porsche Service Center to get this issue fixed. By the way, Porsche Bethesda only charges $250. read more

I have used this dealership for over ten years to service my car. They were okay at first. But they've degraded worse than imaginable in the last few years. My car has been in their shop for most of the last six months. In that time: - They've called me twice to pick it up because the work was done. I Uber'ed over there and both times found out that it was not in fact done. - Twice more they've introduced new, obvious problems in the car during the "work." Most recently they broke the spoiler so it wouldn't retract and detached a dashboard piece just to name two. - During this period I have worked with four reps and two service managers. Each time I get assurances from one, they quit or are fired. Currently they have NO service manager. They have more turnover of employees than a McDonalds. They have made commitments to me that they haven't honored even when they acknowledge them, blaming one of the guys who are no longer there for not being authorized. Their shop workers obviously have no quality control since they keep giving me my car back with new easily seen problems. This is the one I really don't understand. They don't communicate well or often. They overcharge so drastically I feel like a loser even giving them a green light to do any work at all. I don't believe anything they tell me. I'm getting rid of my car (if I can ever pick it up again) and trading it for a different make, solely because I don't ever want to deal with that dealer again. I understand there is a new owner, Rosenthal. I hope they read this because their business is a flaming disaster. I would probably have bought a new car from this year and now I won't. You buy a car like this and expect it to be maintained, even if it costs a little more. But I also expected professional competence, courtesy, and integrity. These guys are none of those things. Don't buy a Porsche if they are your only service shop! Go to HBL in Tysons or better yet, buy a Tesla, Mercedes, or a BMW. Trust me...I have been in and out of this place dozens of times in the last six months and have spent more money with them this year than the Kelly Blue Book value of the car. Remember after you buy a car it has to be maintained. And Porsches are finicky and the repairs are expensive, even if done right. Don't buy a car from these people unless your eyes are wide open and you know what you're getting into for the next few years. Get every interaction documented in writing because they're likely to disallow it afterward. Lower your expectations and you won't be surprised. Porsche of Arlington more than sucks. I don't know what the right term to describe them is. Its not just a lack of professional competence. It's a complete and utter void of professional integrity. read more

Think twice before buying anything at this dealership. My husband and I purchased a new first-ever car here in April 2022. I'm 65 and have never had a worse experience. Never. First, we put a deposit down on a specific car, however, our non-Porsche lease didn't expire until early May. The salesman, Mikael Holt, said the deposit was for the car being held until our current lease expired. Perfect. Second, when the car did arrive a week later, Holt insisted the car be accepted that very day. I mean like get down here now or we'll give the car away. Seriously. So, my husband, who owns his own company, was mandated to leave work to get this car. Holt explained the dealership was rated by how quickly a car moved off the lot. It then took THREE HOURS for Holt to finalize paperwork. No one went over the car like how the electronics worked or anything analogous. What happened to the deposit and promise to hold? It disappeared under threat of not getting the car we wanted! Third, we were made to drive to the dealership to get our permanent tags. Our last dealership mailed them to us. When I arrived for the tags, they were handed to me. Since I didn't have a screwdriver, I drove home forgetting that the paper tags expired the end of April, and it was now May. Avoided a ticket by showing the new tags. A $75k car and I had to put on the tags, which is not beneath me, but one of those REALLY!! moments. Lastly, we fairly quickly found the air conditioner did not work. We called and were told it wouldn't be until the end of July until the service department had an opening. It appears they wanted the car off the lot quickly and didn't thoroughly inspect the vehicle for road worthiness. From the moment you walk into this dealership, a sense of tension across every facet of the business was palpable. I really felt sorry for the service department staff. I dropped off my car for suspension work that took several weeks. When I picked up the car the battery and electrical area was flooded with water that caused major problems. The dealership in general definitely meets the standard of service that you would expect from a Porsche Dealership. Staffs that I encountered are all very friendly and professional. Kody is the most attentive salesperson I have ever met. I had a little financial problem during the process and Kody was on it day and night trying to help me. On August 14,2021 I purchased a 2018 Porshe Macan from the Porsche Arlington 3100 Richmond Highway, Arlington VA 22202. The car had deep. long black scratches above the right front wheel. The sales associate, Isaac Strauss, tried to convince me the car just needed to be washed and the scratches would magically disappear. After I asked him to wash the scratches and he did not but the scratches did not magically disappear , the damage was noted in the "we owe" section of the buyers order. Porsche Arlington delayed the repairs to my vehicle due to an "outage of rental cars." Porsche Arlington does not provide loaner cars. Or maybe they just do not give loaners to black woman.. I mean this is the same company that tried very hard to convince me that the damage on the car could be washed away. Long story short, I am driving around in a pre-owned Porsche fresh off the lot for almost two months with multiple visible scratches. I was told I would have to rent my own car and Porsche would reimburse me 7-14 days later. Wow ..Lexus customer service was better than this but I need these scratches removed so I'll rent the car. I was reimbursed 7-14 days later and the scratches reappeared at the same spot 1 month later. I told Scott Goldwater and he said the body work was done on the car and I must have washed my car with the wrong detergent. Okay let's blame it on the car washes.... I've been going to the same luxury car detail for years but now their handwash service is creating scratches that existed prior.. interesting. Oh and did I tell you the battery for the key had to be replaced two months after purchase. Porsche Arlington is not a superior dealership. Now to the good part.... I have been waiting for my tags FOR MONTHS!!! I purchased the car August 14, 2021 and was on my third set of paper tags when I called the dealership on Monday November 8, 2021 to ask for the 10th time (Scott Goldwater stopped responding to my text by the way) about my tags. Donald Kim tells me the tags just arrived but I have a balance. What balance?? He gives me two numbers , $193.00 and $136.01. Well which one is it and why? He said something about DC now does their own appraisal of vehicles and DC just recently changed their registration process which has impacted several DC residents' purchases. Oh really? Forward the guidance from DC which explains the "new registration process". and while you are at it I would like to see the receipt from DC government to Porsche Arlington. For some strange reason, I never received it. I went to Porsche Arlington on Thursday November 11, 2021 to pick up the hard tags I have waited 4 months for. Victor Coronel, the rudest, incompetent, smug sales manager does everything in his power , even making a 25 minute phone call to "the finance department" to justify the $136.01 when all the paperwork clearly indicates I owe $113.00. He finally admits after an hour that he cannot explain the numbers. He says he does not know why the numbers are that way. He NEVER apologizes!!!!!! He spent an hour of blaming me for every issue I have encountered at Porshe Arlington. Yes he blamed me for renting my own car and owing a balance he could not nor the documents could explain. He could not even apologize ... not one simple apology for wasting my time and excusing me of things that are the fault of Porsche. Not even an apology... I have not received an explanation of why I owe $136.00 and I am still waiting for that and my hard tags. I will definitely let EVERYONE know Posrche Arlington is not the way to go. I personally know Porsche Silver Spring and Tysons Corner customers and their customer service is amazing. My friends Constantly remind me I should have went to Porsche Tysons or Silver Spring. The only reputable dealership in Arlington is Mercedes. They are amazing there too! read more
