Our car was stolen, and after being recovered we took it here for repairs and sanitizing. The insurance paid them for a commercial cleaning job, and they ended up taking it to a car wash. There were still items in the car that belonged to the person who stole it. It was supposed to be completely sanitized. Instead they pocketed the money, and took it to a car wash. They also didn't fix it like they were supposed to. There were small pieces missing and repairs that were just ignored. Feels like we were cheated for sure. read more

We own a 2012 Audi A6 that was involved in an accident caused by another driver. The preferred auto body shop for the driver's insurer came back with an astronomical quote that rendered our car a complete and total loss. Our car has been garage kept and babied and we were devastated to lose it. The last thing we wanted were new car payments. We felt the insurance company wanted to sell our car at auction rather than repair it so we got our own insurance company involved and moved our vehicle to European Auto Body (recommended by the other shop!). From the very beginning to the very end of the process, Tom was absolutely delightful to work with. Not only is he excellent at being proactive and keeping the customer informed, but he is always responsive and friendly while doing so. Tom and his team also communicated with my insurance company, sent them photos, and negotiated the repair cost process. European Auto Body's pricing came in well under the first shop's (self-serving) quote and in line with both insurance companies' adjusters and another shop we sought an estimate from. The pricing is very fair and the finished product was excellent. We could not have asked for a better outcome. I found this repair shop using the old town facebook group. I needed a business that had amazing customer service. I tried another chain brand and was disappointed. I am new to the area and new to the East Coast-even better new to the US. After Covid, customer service in the US has seemingly disappeared, but NOT at this business. Knowing what I needed, I drove down and spoke the gentlemen and it was clear why they were recommended. I felt welcome, smart, and comfortable. This place isn't pretty, but auto shops don't need to be. Based on a recommendation I inquired after Wayne, who negotiated his price with me. I needed work on my left rear bumper, which was warped inward on one corner and outward on the other so that it no longer fit with the rest of the body. We settled on $80 cash and he sent me in the direction of an ATM and shops within walking distance. An hour or two later when I returned, he was all done. The work was wonderful. It doesn't look brand new, since that's impossible, but nobody would be able to tell it had been worked on. For the quality work and low price, I was ecstatic. While paying in cash meant I paid less, a downside was that Wayne wouldn't provide me with a receipt, even though I would have been happy with one written in pencil. After paying, Wayne helped me pull out of the shop and join traffic again, which I thought was a nice way to end a great experience. read more

Great place. Did great job on my Tesla. The owners customer service was outstanding.

Work was not done on time, I left my car with them for a week while I went on vacation. I was supposed to pick it up the morning after I got back. I took the metro to pick it up and they had not even touched my car. I returned once they said the car was ready (2 days later) and found immediate issue, large patches of matte finish to the paint, over spray on to the black wheel arches. Their solution at the time was to try and buff the paint smooth. They got the overspray off the arches with some elbow grease but the paint never smoothed out, it's just matte and dimply. At this point I knew something was not good. I wasn't expecting it to be perfect but I wasn't expecting it to be this bad. Within a 2 months the 2 repairs started to rust. I went back to speak to them about my problems and was told they would try and remedy the issue If I did some of the work myself, for example remove door the cards and search the internet on why rust is forming in those particular spot. The reasons I didn't pursue any remedies is because of poor time management, questionable workmanship and professionalism (making me do the work I paid them for) and didn't want to deal with it again. I no longer work or live within a close proximity to the shop. Ended up being an $800 dollar loss. This is a late review, I had the work done Spring 2015. I usually don't write bad reviews but it has been really burning me up inside for the past year and a half. read more

I took my 1972 corvette in for the front to be repainted and they did a good job on the paint but when i picked up my vette the floor was flooded cuz they left the car outside with the windows slightly rolled down and did not put the car cover over the vette per instruction, also the rear bumper is damaged from them backing into something and of course they deny anything saying it was like that before it got there which is not true, also they messed with the woring hen they disconnected my headlights for painting and now the wipers dont work, they refuse to fix anything and now im having to find lega ways to get my all original vette fixed, i recommend not taking your vehicle here unless you dont find it coming back worse read more

It got worse and I finally decided I'd better get it repainted if I wanted the car to last. My rear bumper was crunched and I took to European Auto Body for repair. They had to replace it, and it looked brand new. However, a few days later my backup sensing system would sometimes beep when there was nothing behind me, and it looked like (from the camera) that the sensors didn't alert me until I was about 6" from an obstacle. I spoke with the owner, Linton, and he asked me to drop the car off so he could investigate. (He ran me to my office so I didn't have to take a taxi or call a friend.) I was guessing that when they replaced the bumper and the sensors, they didn't install them correctly, but Linton said there would be no charge if they made a mistake. He called me early that afternoon and said that they spoke with a Jeep dealership and learned that having a trailer hitch ball in place all the time would lead to the occasional beeps. They also learned that the alert beeps should activate when 11"-18" from an obstacle. They remove the trailer hitch ball (that I had setup after the bumper was replaced) and tested the distance when backing it up. If was just fine. It turned out that I caused the problem by leaving the trailer hitch ball in the trailer hitch. From what Linton described, they spent 30-45 minutes figuring everything out. Tom, one of his top guys, picked me up from my office, and Linton refused to charge me for the diagnosis. As was true the last time, their customer service is impeccable. read more

This shop is great, don't ignore it because it's nothing fancy. We had a small, but pretty nasty gash on the side door of our car and it was starting to rust a little. After getting another quote in town that we felt was a little high and would take two weeks, we took it to European Auto Body, where we got a quote that was 1/3 of the other place, and they took the car right away and we had it back 36 hours later! The work was absolutely flawless and the car looks great and most importantly, it was exactly on-estimate. The guys here were very nice, helpful and appreciative of our business and praise of their work. Mediocre work at a premium price. I thought I was being wise saving a few bucks by using a groupon. Even when the quote was on the high side, I thought with all these positive reviews it would still be worth it. I left very disappointed. When I first brought the car in I wanted them to repair a dent and fix my door handles that were not functioning correctly. When I got the car back it was pretty clear that repair work had been done to the door. It was not a smooth finish and it was obvious where the dent that was filled in. Not what I was expecting for the price. They also did not do a good job cleaning up after themselves. I found painter's tape still around my gas cap. The car wreaked of paint, it smelled like it had been painted that morning even though I had left the car there for almost a week. On top of all that they never addressed one of the door handles and I had to take it to a mechanic to fix. I was very disappointed in level of service I got for the price. read more
