Amazing customer service. Went to several shops due to my cars splash shield being broke on the freeway. Other places were not very helpful. I stopped by this location and the guy with the pink shirt was very helpful and on top of it. He automatically greeted us with a smile and told us the issue was an easy fix. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes. Even offered us a cup of coffee or water if we wanted to go sit inside while we wait. I would definitely recommend giving this place a try. They turned my car with less than 8,200 miles into a junk car. My vehicle was not fixed properly. Improperly installed damaged parts. After the so called repairs, under the hood is visible without opening the hood. They can't properly align the replaced hood. My vehicle looked better before these people touched it even with the damage to it. My car would have been left alone if I was aware of how bad Caliber Collision is. A bolt which should be on my car was left in the car because they didn't know where the bolt goes on the car. Yes, they're that negligent. Yes, they're that lacking in knowledge. Then the disrespect for my vehicle. They ran through the vehicle taking a roll of paper towels, some writing pens, some quarters: items I usually leave in my car. Thank goodness I didn't leave much in my car. Then, let's not even get into disrespect to me by some of the staff members. Overall, it was a very unfortunate experience. My car definitely doesn't look new after repair by this establishment. You can feel the gasket under the hood without opening the hood indicating the hood doesn't close properly. Let's not even get into the paint job. One little unwanted rat would've done better. Now, I am afraid each time I drive my car because I am afraid the parts they replaced will fall out and apart at any time. I never heard of this company before. The insurance company referred me to them. I most definitely would have done my due homework and stayed away from these people. They love the insurance company because they get to "price goug" and get paid while performing improper repairs, not replacing a part that goes back on the car because they lack the knowledge and expertise of where the part "they" removed goes. I no longer feel safe driving my car since Caliber Collision touched it. I don't know when and where the car will fall apart. O, by the way, the repair bill was over $8400 for a terrible repair job. My car was hit on the passenger side and my insurance sent me here. When I went to pick up my car the first time, I inspected the work and right away I noticed that there were blue speckles (my car is white) in the paint. I also noticed the side skirt was a little warped on the edges and the door edge molding was still scratched up. When I went to pick my car up the second time, everything was fixed. Today when I was washing my car I noticed that there is paint sprayed on the inside of the door trim and there's another area that is still scratched up. Hands down the best place ever! Two weeks ago I had some damage to my car from some debris on the freeway. Filed my claim with Farmers and Calibur was one of the guaranteed placed they recommend. I called and made an appointment. I went the following morning and met with Craig. He assured me my car would be taken care of and looking new again. Every Tuesday and Thursday he called and gave me an update on the progress of my car. They even had a rental dropped off when I was leaving my car. Got my car back tonight and it looks new again. I had such a horrible experience with this Shop. I initially used them for my accident claim and since they are a "preferred shop" for State Farm I decided I would give them a try to fix my vehicle. Well I regret taking my car here and this is why- Gus the estimator was the one who initially helped me out and gave me the estimate. Well he explained to me that the prior damage my vehicle had they would fix because it wasn't part of the damage and I completely understood that. However he forgot to mention the part that it they would make the prior damage worse. It's like they didn't sand that part at all and just repainted on top of the old paint and then put the gloss on top of that. Horrible horrible work!!! I am completely disgusted with this company. I also asked before hand that I wanted my headlight back but then he said well I'm not sure if we can provide that ill.habe to make sure we didn't throw it away already. Thankfully they didn't throw away and gave it to me broken according to him it was already broken. Not to mention my left passenger rim was damaged they must of hit a curb while moving my vehicle. The place doesn't do a great job. The car smells like crap in the inside when u get it back.. an you'll find other shit wrong with your car. My car was parked on the street at this shop. And it shows. I have rock chips on my front windshield that wasn't there before. I had to go to the shop twice just to be happy with the original issue. My Keychain is smugged off the symbols for lock and unlock.. i cannot see at all anymore- when I brought it in I could. I would not recommend this shop. I took time off of work to take my car in for an appointment at 1:00, things happened that made me 15 min late to the appointment. I was told they will not see me because I was late. I understand that I was late, although one would think that a business that is interested in their customers goals would try to accommodate. Worst service I've ever experienced in my life. Summarized version: waited almost 1.5 months for my car, they told me it would be done the next day 6 times, rarely called to update me, got my car back and found there was mouse poop and pee everywhere. Mice had began nesting and brought things into my car(rings, seeds, Barbie shoes, blood glucose checkers...?) Shocked by the good reviews. I understand that my car needed a lot of repairs but why tell me it would be done then keep moving the date... six times? I took work off twice to come get my car, only to find the next day I call them and they tell me it'll be done the "next day" and the "next day". I actually began driving to Bakersfield one day to pick it up late after hours, they called me as I was driving there to tell me it wouldn't be done. Communication was horrible. When I got my car back I found mouse poop everywhere (pictures attached) and reeked of mouse pee. I'm absolutely astonished how this place is still open. read more

I wouldn't recommend taking your vehicle here to be replaced. I have insurance through Geico and this place was recommended. First, they took longer than expected and I was without a vehicle for 2 1/2 weeks for a front bumper replacement. Second they did a terrible job. I took the car back after 3 weeks when I noticed that the front bumper on the right was popping out. I also noticed that in the corner there is a massive paint chip. I was told by the service advisor Lindsey that it appeared that I hit something and that's why the paint chipped or someone must have backed into me. I don't understand how seeing as how the chip is in a corner and there would be damage to the headlights and places around the chip (see attached picture). They did pop the bumper into place, but after accusing me of hitting something with the bottom bumper and causing it to pop out of place. What's the point of a lifetime guarantee if they blame you for their mediocre work? read more

I was told by the next car wouldn't be available until Saturday and I was dropping my car off on Thursday. I was expecting to have to push my appointment back even further but Mari, the front receptionist, saved the day! She was able to call another Enterprise location, the first one told me I was out of luck unless I wanted to call around myself, and secure a car for me. She even drove me to go pick it up. Can I give 0 stars???? DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE TO BE REPAIRED! This is absolutely the worst place to ever bring your car to be repaired. The communication on their end with status updates on the state of your vehicle is nonexistent! Not only that, but they will have your car sitting for days without even being worked on. Every time I have had to call into this place on my own to check on my vehicle, only to be left on hold for 20 minutes with no response or explanation as to what is going on with my vehicle. On top of being overcharged on the supplement for the repair of my vehicle, communication with Caliber to my insurance adjustor has also been nonexistent. My car has been in the shop for almost two months now, being passed between Caliber Collision and the tire alignment shop they've once had it sitting at going unworked on for a full week because of "delays" that have still gone unexplained. I haven't been given a clear and honest reason as to why the process is taking so long and I don't feel like I ever will be. Somebody over there at Caliber Collision has dropped the ball and is not being fully transparent about the situation at hand, so I will be putting in a complaint to the better business bureau about this establishment. Update: it's been 3 weeks since this post and I still don't have my car!! this is the worst place to ever bring your vehicle. communication is terrible and i still have yet to be given a valid reason as to why my car is taking so long. i shouldn't have to call and ask what is going on with my vehicle. first of all, i don't even feel like i'm being told the whole truth. i've been given a day for when my car will be ready more than 5 times already and every time the date keeps changing without explanation! this has gone on for over two months and i am seriously starting to get angry. read more

L Street Location- The work was good (some body work to the car) . However, Linsey said the reason why the car didn't start was because the battery was older/corrosion. I told her that probably one of the employees left the door open over night and therefore the battery was drained. Car wouldn't start they had to recharge the battery. . She said the doors were closed and not left open. How does she know that? Was she watching them the whole time they worked on the car (8 days)? She didn't want to admit that it was possible that an employee left a door open or partially opened. I would not recommend this place due to the service from Linsey. She should have said that it is possible that an employee left the door open, but if you have any problems with the battery just let me know and we will figure something out. I had an amazing experience with Caliber Collision! After I had an intimate moment with a pole in my new 2021 Audi, Geico recommended Caliber Collision as a repair shop. I am SO glad they did. When I dropped off my Audi on 1/18 I was greeted by Reuben who explained the whole estimate and repair process to me. He walked me through the whole car explaining what would need to be fixed. Afterwards he had his manager verify that all the fixes could be done at the local Bakersfield shop! Once it was approved, Reuben gave me an estimate for the cost and the expected finish date which was 1/29. After I left the shop I received a text everyday with a status update on my vehicle! On 1/22 I received a call from Reuben stating that the vehicle was ready for pickup! A WHOLE WEEK EARLY! During my whole experience with Caliber Collision everyone was so kind and transparent! If I ever get into car trouble again I will be going to Caliber Collision! read more

Caliber Collision (in Bakersfield) on L St. sucks! Horrible place, I wouldn't recommend this facility location to anyone, they don't know how to do repairs!! I was referred to this facility by my car insurance company after I was in a car accident. The customer service advisor, Enrique, was unprofessional and his customer service was poor. When I pointed out repairs that were not done right, he's laughing at me like I don't know what's wrong with my car. They had my car for 2 1/2 weeks and didn't do the repairs right. I had to contact my insurance company and they referred me to the Calliber Collision on Gasoline Alley to correct the "repairs" that the previous shop got paid for. The Gasoline Alley location had my car another week and a half, did an awesome job and completed my vehicle repairs the right way. Lindsey was my customer service advisor, she's awesome and extremely professional!! Don't waste your time at the L St. Caliber Collision location, just go to the Gasoline Alley location instead. read more
