Apparently this is a shop that wants to do nothing but insurance claims. Brought my 93 RX-7 in to do a color change. Owner Gabe looked everything over and quoted me $3,700.00 to do it. Told me initially it was going to take 3 weeks to get this done. First week passes by and I stopped by to check the progress on my car. Little progress was made as all they did was sand down the bumper. (Note: I was just checking progress, was not trying to rush the process as my car has about 50k invested). The following Friday I stopped by and my car car was not even touched! Gabe workers said he was out of town and his workers can't touch the car. the next Friday I stopped by and they sanded down a little portion of the front bumper, I asked him what's his ETA. His reply was "all these insurance jobs are coming in and I'm real busy now, I have no idea when I can start working on this). I left, went to another shop told them about my situation.. told me to take my car back and they will get it done.. went back and told gabe I wanted my car back and how much he wanted for what he did (which was hardly anything). he told me I was rushing him and i owed him $400.00 for what he did... I payed him just so I could get the hell out of that place. They didn't cover my car It's dirty from all the "insurance jobs body work sandings, including on my interior". He did not leave me a receipt, but that's fine... I just wanted to get the hell out of there.. my car also haves air bags, which that idiot went through my settings and over pressurized it which could have popped my air bags... I went over there because of all the good reviews but that turns out to be a lie... gonna talk to a lawyer about this... read more
