Took my vehicle in for a repair they put use parts on it that didn't match the ones that were on already all the gaps between the doors and the fenders were bigger than the OEM side. The paint did not match and had a lot of of little trash in it, I took it in to them and they couldn't fix it. I had to took it in again and I just gave up on them they keep saying they will fix it but they just keep wasting my time. They keep the car for three days and keep me without a rental. It's been months dealing with them. I would not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Old review: I'm a single mother to a 5-year-old son. The fact that I brought my car in on a Monday and by Wednesday it was ready was beyond amazing. I am blessed to know how amazing the team was on my vehicle as it looks back to brand new again. My vehicle was all scratched up on the right side starting from the back passenger to the front passenger followed with a big dent that I couldn't stop looking at. The customer service was beyond fantastic from the person assigned to my vehicle up to the supervisors I spoke to. They took good care of me and took care of the concerns I had, had by reaching out to my insurance carrier and getting back to me around the time stated... I am beyond blessed and thankful ! I am absolutely satisfied and can only hope there are others with the same outcome. **NEW REVIEW:** Upon receiving my vehicle, I later noticed a crack that was not very noticeable at first. When I spotted it, I reached out to the manager at Caliber Collision as soon as possible. They were responsive and told me to bring it in, but at the time, I didn't have rental services and had to borrow a friend's car. The wait time this time was excessive. They informed my State Farm that they would replace the part (front bumper), but it seemed they pocketed the money from my claim and sealed the crack with some form of glue. When I received the car a second time, I noticed that the crack had become even larger! The surprising part was that when I spoke with State Farm, they told me it was a new replacement, but I had previous photos to prove they were lying and sent it to them as proof. I took the car in a third time at Caliber because supposedly nobody took "before" photos, which was why I was able to get the car back in. I sensed something was off when an employee delivered the vehicle to my apartment with another partner to drive back to the shop. He mentioned, "the manager said you can't bring it back, and I don't know what's wrong with it" and had left in the vehicle truck with his partner. Upon inspection, I noticed that the front bumper had been replaced, but the latches to hold it up were missing making the front bumper pop out of my corolla that I had to push back in with my hand each time it was driven. State Farm advised me to call the manager to sort things out, and I shared what the supervisor had told his employee. Eventually, State Farm allowed me to switch to Fix Auto on Shepard St, where they did a phenomenal job fixing all the missing parts and provided another new bumper. They even painted and coated my vehicle to ensure the color matched perfectly, without any weird contrasts in the sunlight. I have warned many people not to go to Caliber Collision at this location, not sure about the others, but I've received positive feedback from friends and family that I referred to Fix Auto on Shepard St. It is disappointing that Caliber Collision failed to "do the right thing." This location is very unprofessional, and the ongoing drama among the employees in front of customers only adds to the negative experience. There are so many good things about this shop , the one that stands out is their kindness. On December 21st our truck was involved in a horrible accident. It was sent here , we hoped it was salvageable but unfortunately it was too damaged. My husband and myself didn't know what we were supposed to do having never been in this situation. Tyler , Oscar , Cynthia walked us through it with so much compassion and patience, they were amazing and answered all our questions . They didn't have to take the time to explain everything to us but the did . I wish I knew the name of the girl that helped us take our belongings out , she was so kind and helpful . I have been to Caliber Collison on Schirra Road and they were absolutely horrible. So in the summer of 2024 I was hit from behind and my insurance only works with Caliber Collison. I asked to go to the one on Rosedale. They were very nice and finished my car actually a day before they promised it. BUT 9 months later I driving down the road and a car follows me home stating my blinker lights are my brakes and my brake lights are my blinkers. WTH. They didn't even check to see if they put them in correctly. Thank goodness my nephew is a mechanic and fixed them in 2 minutes. read more

The first was close to 2 years ago, unfortunately our Honda Ridgeline which I had sentimental attachment too was deemed totaled, unsalavageable. I appreciated their professionalism, understanding and explanation why it would not be worth trying to repair. That meant a lot to me. That brings us to our second encounter. Because of my previous experience with Caliber Collision on Schirra Court, I felt comfortable contacting them to ask a question. I wanted to change the lettering and the front logo to black on my vehicle. I also wanted a tint placed on my front windows. I needed to know if they could recommend anyone? I spoke with Eddie he replied, "We maybe able to do that for you bring your car by, no appointment needed and ask for me or Mr. Joe. We don't do window tints but I know someone that does and is really good. He'll even come to your home. " A couple weeks passed before I was able to stop by and met Eddie. Very professional as was all their staff (from receptionists to transporters). He looked at my car and said, "we can change the lettering out. However, I do not recommend painting the front logo black because it may affect the camera distancing accuracy. This could also affect your warranty. It was this honesty and transparency that compelled me to contact them. Their not just about the business, they want to do what is best for their customers. P.S. Same scam as Naja's. They just took over the business. Same estimators same. I went there for an estimate for a minor crunch on a tail light section of a truck bed. The estimate was around $8K! I had it repaired to perfection for $1200.00. Nope, not on a good day. They must be very proud of their work. I went to another place that I thought was high for their estimate and it was $3,200.00. I chose Caliber as it was the body shop with which my insurance works directly in Bakersfield. I was quite pleased with everything. When I arrived for my appointment, the manager, Leonard, took me around the car discussing and taking photos of the damage. He gave me an estimate of the time required but warned that it could be longer due to supply chain issues. He also said that the shop would send me frequent texts updating me on the progress. I was pleased to get those texts: no one likes to go day after day wondering whether their car is being worked on. I was so surprised to see how great of a job they did on my car. For starters, the estimated time was about 10 days to have my car fixed. However, they said they would be able to get it to me on Friday if I could drop it off on Monday. They called and had it ready by Thursday evening. If I could give 10 a stars, I absolutely would! This place went above and beyond to take care of all of my needs. When they say that God works in mysterious ways there is no exaggeration. In fact the girl who works at caliber collision Mari was the same girl who came to my side coincidentally right after my accident to make sure I was ok. She called 911 and stayed with me until they arrived. She was off work and just passing through the area at the time. Carlos and his team will do whatever it takes to ensure the quality of your vehicle is pristine so much to the point they even took my cae back to fix the windshield wiper and a small hardly noticeable spot on the back door. I would recommend this place over and over again, they don't make you feel guilty for expecting quality and go above and beyond to make you feel at home. I took my Tahoe in for repairs after I was hit in a parking lot. Oscar came out to go over the estimate with me and I could tell from that moment that I when to the right place!! He is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He was upfront and let me know what needed to be done but that there could be hidden damage as well but that they would take care of anything that could come up during the repairs. My rental was ready for me to pick up so was a easy and smooth processes. it took about a week to get done and Oscar followed up with me several times to update me on where we were in the repairs. He called me Friday to let me know it was done. It was washed and ready to go when I got there. When we did the walk around to see how it came out I saw a chip in the paint on the tailgate. He pulled up the pics he took and saw it there and said he would take care of it. I expected them to not be done till the middle of the next week but was surprised to get a call Monday saying it was done. I was amazed to see they had painted the entire liftgate not just try repair the chip and they got that done all during the weekend!!!! I got rear-ended going to Bakersfield and took my car here for estimate and repairs per Metlife recommendation. They are very accommodating since they know that I am only here for school and live in SF. They worked on my car and Enterprise was able to drop me off a rental car at this location. You guys have no idea how you made it easier, more convenient, and less stressful for me. I dropped off my car there super filthy (driving on the 5) and when I picked it up, it looked brand new. Legitimately spotless. They even cleaned my tires and all, vacuumed, and wiped my interiors. I really appreciate the work even though I do not drive a luxury car, you made it look like one. I also feel like the car is driving better LOL. I did not mind that it took them 4-5 days to fix my bumper because I was provided with a paid rental of the other party. caliber collision is the Worst body shop I have Ever been to!!! I have a video of Oscar (previously at the Schirra location, now at the Meany location) telling me all the things wrong with my truck during the initial visit. After they had it for 2 wks with NOTHING done, not even the alignment! (It was supposed to be 2 days for the estimate!) I called Caliber and my insurance company upset that nothing had been done yet and that My insurance didn't even have an estimate for repairs! Oscar MADE me leave my truck with him initially because he said it was "unsafe" for me to drive it home!!!! Due to all the damage!! Once myself and my insurance called them and told them they had to get the ball rolling and that 2 wks with nothing was unacceptable, all the sudden my truck had NO issues???? And I could come pick it up?!?!? But yet I Still have a scratch & dent in my bumper!!!! And tires have not been replaced they wobble when I drive!!! My truck pulls to the right soo bad and I have a air bag light, ABS light and emergency break light on that we're not on prior to my accident! I'd say Horrible service!!!!!! Liars and frauds. If you car has been in the shop past estimated repair date, 100% chance they forget to order the car part and will tell you it's on back ordered. 2 months my car was in the shop because they kept forgetting to order certain parts but kept lying to my face and saying it was back ordered. Finally got them to show me the receipts and what do you know, they were lying the whole time. Never ordered parts. Had to physically call the adjuster every day to get answers and finally had enough of his lies and told him to his face that he was a liar and dealt with the general manager of caliber in Bakersfield. Who pretty much refused to take an responsibility. The general manager also tried to buy me off and not post a review, tried offering $100 visa gift card. read more
