My husband brought his car in recently, for repairs from an accident. State Farm recommended them, so that's who we went with. The day that we picked it up, there were personnel items missing. I know you should never leave valuables but the things they took were ridiculous. The monetary value wasn't huge but it's the fact that they went through my husband's personal belongings and TOOK them. We called to let Jorge know. Unfortunately the experience was bad as I tried to drive into the visitors parking spaces blocked by trash and cars under repair. Great Work. Better People. They repaired our CRV about a year ago after a fender bender and did a great job. Since then we had ongoing issues with our battery, with an undiagnosed draw on the battery. Thinking it could have been related to the repairs, we brought the car in. Jorge offered to do draw tests. Several days later, they found what appears to be the culprit (interior light fuse - totally unrelated to their repairs). Not only did they help diagnose the issue, they even replaced the battery and covered the diagnostic at no charge to us! I gave 2 stars because David the Manager tried really hard to accommodate me after his team royally messed everything up. The 2 stars are for him and the paint looking great, the lack of stars are for my completely messed up experience I've had. Here we go: Took my car which is a 2022 Honda Civic Sport that I just got in October 2021, into Caliber on 09/14/2022 to have my left side drivers side door repaired due to someone side swiping me. Mind you, the damage was minimal. It was like a tire mark, transfer of paint, and maybe some tiny denting. I received a call on September 16, 2022 letting me know my car was going into paint and should be ready September 20, 2022 but that they had some bad news. Apparently, one of the techs damaged the passenger side back end of my car but not to worry because it had already been repaired. What??!! They said the damage had already been repaired and my rim was damaged as well but it's being sent to their rim people to be repaired. Per California law you are not to do any UNAUTHORIZED REPAIRS to any car regardless free or otherwise without permission from the owner. I asked them if they took pictures of the damage so I could see what happened and they told me no. HOW THE HECK DO YOU DAMAGE SOMEONE'S CAR AND NOT TAKE PICTURES??!! To me this was very sneaky. So I asked if there was video from any cameras around the building, they advised they do not have cameras period. Real convenient, right? So I waited to speak to David the manager because when they called me Friday (4 pm) he was already gone for the day. I called 09/19/22 but he was still out until 09/20/2022. David advised he was not in on Friday and never saw the actual damage but wanted to assure me that what they said was accurate. HOW CAN IT BE ACCURATE IF YOU DIDN'T WITNESS IT AND NO PICTURES WERE TAKEN??!! David told me to come into the shop and he would explain in person. So I left work early thinking my car was ready as well. I get there and my car wasn't even close to being ready. The other side had been primed front and back door even though the damage was only in the front. David said it was so the paint would sit flush yet they only had the back door on the passenger side gone and didn't primer or touch the front passenger door. If the paint needed to sit flush on that side why wasn't it done to the side they damaged? To me, it felt sneaky again like they damaged both sides without telling me. So I left pretty pissed off still. David stated my car should be ready by Friday, September 23, 2022 and that he'd call me the 22nd even if it wasn't ready. September 22nd rolls around, no call. I call the shop and they say he's been in a Managers meeting and he'd call me later. September 23rd morning rolls around, still no call. So I call again and he's not in. Then finally speak with him later in the day. He states that he has great news, my car will be ready the following week, they have done something I asked for, and they were going to take it to Honda for a full inspection after the repairs and paint are fully done. I'm still upset because this is taking longer than they stated but I still want my car done correctly so I keep waiting. My car was ready Monday, September 26 evening accoridng to their website. I get a call from David September 27th stating he was going to call Honda and schedule and appointment for the inspection. The inspection appointment is then scheduled for Wednesday, September 28th. September 28th rolls around. My car is taken to Honda at 1 pm. Honda finishes but tells me that Caliber said they are picking up my car. I tell them no they aren't. I then get a phone call from David. He says that he noticed something with the molding and would like to pick up my car from Honda Thursday morning, take it back to the shop to fix the molding, then drive it to me in Tracy. I told him no because Honda just inspected it and I don't trust any of them to drive my car. I told him I would bring it myself to them Thursday morning. He said okay and that I would just need to sign the paperwork there on Thursday. The paint job looked good. Honda had told me my car had 2 new tires on it and it was slightly pulling due to the 2 new tires on the one side. Mind you I should have only had 1 new tire that I replaced about a month ago. I was confused but said okay. So Thursday comes, I see the paperwork of damages that they say they fixed, turns out whatever the damage that was done to my rim also happened to my tire so they replaced a tire and sent my rim for repairs. Also the invoice states they sublet repaired the quarter glass, repaired the rocker molding, repaired the outer panel, and they installed clear guard. None of this was discussed with me. None of this was okayed by me. Yet all this crap was done to my car. The parts guy came in and tried to show me pictures of the damage to my rim and tire and I asked if there were pictures of the other damage and of course he said no. read more

Was referred to thus shop by my auto insurance after an accident. Called and had to make an appointment for a couple of days away, when I arrived there was 2 people at the front desk one of whom was on the phone the other who was filing her nails. The lady who was filing her nails looked up at me and said can I help you, with a very disinterested voice. She then proceeded to look at the computer and confirmed my appointment and called to the appraiser who took a group pictures but little else. All pictures were all on the outside of the vehicle no looking into the back for the floor damage and he appeared disinterested at best. After leaving ( as it was only an estimate not a fix) then went to another local shop who looked at it immediately and took pictures inside and out of the car. They then asked me when I wanted to bring it back. The people at calibur were totally disinterested and really acted like they could care less if they got my business or not. When I arrived, their were dozens of cars in some state of disrepair that were double and triple parked everywhere on their lot. Couldn't hardly get to the front door. Today is 5/16/23 . Update on my Cadillac ATS 2018 today my car got inspected from state of California Bureau department of automotive repair . I will get the inspection report next week because they need to get some information to add it to the inspection report . I been having my car for only one year and half and when i got my car it's in very good condition because the person who had it before me he have it in the garage all the time . After this people destroyed the car so the car worth a Shit . The problem this people damaged many cars it's not just my car ((but I am the worst)) . I am in shock where is the manager at Caliber I want to ask him if he knows anything about cars!!! Why he told me the engine light on my car because the car needs oil change?????!!!! Seriously. Believe me when I took my car to do oil change like the manager said to me the oil change guy he looked at me and he said the oil in your car is %82 good I told him about what I am dealing with then he said it's better to do inspections for your car because it's like they damaged allot in your car and it's truth. I had some damage to a previous vehicle I had, and they found parts missing that weren't replaced by a shop in Stockton. Had it not been for Caliber Collision in Brentwood, I'd have not known my impact bar was missing. They also repaired a piece of my door panel that was damaged by the Stockton shop, thanks Raul. I recommend this place for body work services to your vehicle because they are totally legit. It isn't about money or a quick fix to them, it's about quality with these folks and we all know that quality brings quantity. Jeff Herman was the representative who assisted with my claim and was professional and attentive to my concerns. This was significant to me since I had only purchased the vehicle brand new a week prior (as you can imagine I was uptight). He was patient and walked me through every step the shop would take to ensure the vehicle was returned in pristine condition...even down to ensuring no swirls in the paint after the car wash. I took my truck into caliber collision because the insurance company suggested them. I made an appointment for the adjuster to look at it, and the day of the appointment I went in told the girl at the counter I'm here. She said I'll get someone, and 20 minutes later still no one came out to look at my truck. Finally they came out took some pictures and made an appointment to have it fixed. A few days before my appointment they called and canceled my appointment. I said when is it rescheduled for. They said we're not rescheduling. I said why not.
