I worked with them back in Sept 2021 and unfortunately my Jeep Grand Cherokee was considered a total loss. They worked efficiently with my insurance company to everything taken care of. They kept my car over three weeks when I was initially quoted 1-2 weeks, I needed a full body paint, because two spots on my car didn't have paint damage they weren't touched, they halfa** matched my paint so now my car is two different colors. If that wasn't enough I have bubbles in the paint all over the car. AND they didn't touch the driver side door handle or mirror which had to be removed to do the body paint so I don't understand how they "didn't notice the scratches" the manager wants me to bring the car back for them to fix it which is out of the question because I had to "crashout" just to get someone on the phone. This review is late and I apologize to Caliber Collision because of it. From the time I brought my car in for an estimate to the time I picked it up, the employees provided excellent customer service. In particular, Lizz Kampfraat put "service" back into "customer service." She greeted me when I came in and made a frustrating and stressful situation less so and bearable. Lizz explained the process of repairing the vehicle, handling the insurance, and car rental. I knew I didn't have to worry about a thing. She asked if I needed a ride to the car rental or home. declined and decided to walk the mile to my house. While walking home, I was singing Bob Marley's song, "Don't Worry about a thing, cause every little thing is going to be alright." As promised, she kept me up to date on each phase of the car repair. When the vehicle was ready for pick up and inspection, she offered to have me picked up. From beginning to end, Lizz provided customer service, something that can be rare these days. read more

I took my car to Caliber Collision in Carmichael for a second quote after receiving one from a competitor. The service advisor/estimator Kris Yakovich took the time to really assess the damage and brought in an auto body tech to also look at it before writing the quote. They repaired it on the spot for no charge- after the competitor estimated $4,000 to replace an entire bumper. Wow- such integrity and commitment to customer service! I had them do other body work on the same car, (couldn't be repaired as quickly!) with excellent results at a reasonable cost. A few weeks later my other car needed body work after I was rear-ended. I am never happy to have my car away from me and at the body shop, but the three most recent times that it had to be done, I chose Caliber Collision. Each time I have gone there, the staff is very friendly and professional. The facility is also clean and modern. I like that a couple of the locations have Enterprise Rent-A-Car at the facility. That makes renting a replacement car very convenient. One of the major things that impresses me about Caliber is that they return your car to you washed and somewhat detailed. My 2017 Ford FF150 was involved in a major accident caused by a lady making an illegal left turn. Caliber said they could repair. The truck had to be taken to their Grass Valley location where it was for over a month with $25,000 in damages. Calber said it was better than new as it had a whole new frame. In less than 9 months since the repairs the truck has had significant issues on at least 3 occasions including twice breaking down in the Sierra Nevada mountains. To Caliber's credit, they have fixed under warranty and reimbursed me for my expenses. BUT a repair that requires the complete disassembly of a vehicle and re-assembling by hand is more than they are capable of even using 'the best certified technicians' I now have a truck that I have no confidence in and have no confidence in Calibers ability to make major repairs on a vehicle.
