Mario wrote me an estimate for minor damage to my Toyota after being rear-ended. It turned out to be more thorough than one from another local shop, and far more thorough than the one my insurance company created from my photos. Mario took the time to explain the estimate and answer my questions about timing for the repairs. From dropping my car off to picking it up within their estimated work period, American Eagle handled everything including working with my adjuster on supplemental work. My insurance company had tried to save themselves a few bucks by quoting a non-OEM bumper, and Mario assured me they'd use a Toyota part. When I picked up my car it was freshly washed and waiting for me near the office. The paint match and installation look great and I'm very satisfied with the quality of service and work. I typically feel intimidated with body shops or just getting any service done to my car but this staff made me feel very comfortable. We got a rear ended at a traffic stop from the oncoming train. We got referred to come here and the service we received was awesome. Despite me having to bring my autistic toddler with me, they were able to help me without being annoyed of my son, who was simply just being him. They even have a small play area for child to sit and play which was such a huge plus for my son. Anyways, my car got fixed quicker than I anticipated vs the other places I've been to in the past and my car looks brand new again. During the time my car was getting fixed, the receptionist at the desk calls me every chance she gets with an update on my car, which I appreciate and love so much about it. Leaving your car and getting it repair is always nerve wrecking, especially wanting to know the status of it. EXCELLENT SERVICE American Eagle repaired the trunk and rear bumper of my Acura TL. Body work was great but rear camera stopped working afterwards. I called and was told to bring the car in for a checkup. I brought my car in but their calibration technician was off that day and I was asked to bring the car back another day. A staff overheard the conversation and told me he used to work at the Acura dealership in Redwood City where I bought my car. Long story short: he volunteered to check out my car and fixed the problem in no time! He definitely did not have to do that. He went above and beyond in his customer service and Can-Do attitude! It all began with just trying to find a good deal to give my car a long overdue cleaning. So I searched on Yelp and found this spot. Honestly, as I was driving all the way out here and realizing how far away it was from where I lived, I wondered if it was worth it and the answer is yes. I spent about $40 for an exterior and interior car detail and they did an amazing job. My only complaint was that I wished they could also shampoo the carpets. And that's only because I wanted to take my sister's car in too since I spilled something in it a while back. The whole deal took a little less than the 1.5 time they quoted and the best part, the overall customer service. The receptionist was super friendly and helpful even about unrelated things, like finding a good nail place nearby to kill time and the owner even came out himself to inspect the car before I took off. He was so personable and real. I honestly felt he was a good guy interested in giving me great work and making me feel comfortable. UPDATE : so I went to work this morning and my manager told me that the guy who tried to blame us for the damage on the other car has called our office and threatened me to either delete the review or he will contact my regional manager. Before our argument I happened to tell him where I work. I wasn't in his shop on a business matter. I was there for a personal matter and he just treated us wrong. He has no right to contact my job and involve my office. I have every right to write a review if I want to. I wish I could give them zero star. Don't pass by this shop. They are thieves and they make up stories to make you pay. My friend and I stopped by their shop to get an estimate for her broken mirror which they gave us a price more than dealer then the guy came back and accused my friend for damaging the side mirror of the car parked next to us and keep claiming that he has camera and he saw it. I told him let's go check the camera but instead he tried to find out how much it cost to replace that mirror. After arguing for a while he pulled the camera and it took him a while to find the exact time and finally he said oh yes she didn't do it. He was very rude and didn't even apologized. I don't care how good they are in doing your job but they are good in ripping people off too. I work for a rental car company and from the first moment I told him there is no way she could have damage it and he laugh at me as if I don't know anything cabut dude don't think a woman doesn't know anything about cars and damage on the car. read more

I've taken 2 different cars here over the past few years, and each time AE never fails to disappoint. I took my car here again today and because of an accident ( I was rear ended) I wasn't able to properly wash my car because the trunk wouldn't close, leaving a huge gap for water to flood into the trunk. Before today, it's been 7 months since I took my car to have it washed and thoroughly cleaned inside. I don't have room in my small apartment to keep a large shop vac in, and I could only vaccumm so much with the small hand shark that I own. Both the interior and exterior of the car had a layer of dust on top, my seats had dog fur, food crumbs and other various paper wrappings all over the floor. I'm super happy I took this mess to American Eagle! They made my older, filthy car look brand new again! The exterior was nice and shiny from the waxing, the windows were clear of water spots, wheels were armoraled. They were able to vaccumm into cracks and crevices of the car that I would have never been able to reach. I'll continue to come back to American Eagle, hopefully for a long time to come. read more

Honestly I meant to leave this review a while ago when I got my car back ... Ali did some excellent work this guy knows his shit! Someone rear ended my car on the freeway going 75 mph... he fixed it up like it never happened! I've had my car maybe about a month now and I noticed in the sun there was this little spot on the side of my car like a hazy cloud looking thing and I brought it back to him today to have him look at it and he says when can you bring it in we will buff it out! I haven't been the easiest customer either I got in a car accident for the first time and I felt like it was kind of taking a while to get my car back ... but he took the time to do it right and that I can really appreciate. I just talked to a young lady on the phone a few seconds ago telling me they need to reschedule my appointment after making one for Nov 27th more than 3 weeks ago (and I recognize it as the same girl that took my order then) I know it's after Thanksgiving, but I feel like there is a big disconnect/disorganization there if I'm being told 1.5-2 wks later that "oh noh we're off now" I noticed there hours and it said they sometimes did Sat by appointment but apparently not if you're Groupon holder. Either that or they need to fix the website. Don't bother getting a Groupon, as it will obviously be a second rate job, just like their unprofessional customer service. read more

When I showed up to drop my car off, I noticed that the office was spotless. SPOTLESS, I say. That's a rarity in the "shop" world. Another good sign! I dealt mostly with Ali, one of the owners. I was looking for a place near my house that would be an authorized installer of the Amp Research Powerstep (its this fancy running board for a truck that automatically pops out when you open the door). After comparing the available installers in the area, I decided on American Eagle due to the favorable Yelp reviews. Ali set me up with an appointment date which was a little later than I liked but its because it does take time to get the parts and we just could not get our schedules to match up. The installation was flawless and it was a little bit more tricky because I had an aftermarket alarm/remote starter installed already. No issues, everything works just fine and I am happy with the entire transaction. Everything was professional and I was given a ride back to my house after I dropped off my car. It did take a little bit longer than promised but this was no big deal - I told them to take all day if necessary. Car accidents suck. They suck more when it's your fault. They suck even more when your car bears the brunt of the damage. Cue American Eagle. American Eagle is on a list that is contracted with my insurance company and my sister had gone to them once before when she got into a wreck. I set up and appointment to get an estimate and I got a call from them maybe a day and a half, two days later telling me all my paperwork had been sent to my insurance and approved. Sweet! Fast and efficient service is the way to my heart. Ali and the front office girl (Sorry, I didn't catch her name:[) are super friendly and easy to work with. I called them on a Saturday night to make an appointment and left a message (they are only opened Monday - Friday, 8-5. A tad bit inconvenient for 9-5 working folk but they make up for it with their customer service). They called me back promptly Monday morning and I was able to schedule my drop off for the next morning. The office is super clean on the inside and I was immediately greeted when I walked into the door. They took my keys, called for Enterprise to pick me up and off I went. Total it took three days for them to fix my car and it looks better than before. Ali walked through what they did, what parts they replaced (which was pretty much all of them) and how the process went. They even cleaned my car (I'm not sure if that is customary as I've never had to get my car fixed before) inside and out which was nice (yet slightly embarrassing considering the state of my car's interior at the time). And my car was spotless (EMPHASIS) when I got it back. I was able to pick my car up the same day it was finished and Ali was willing to work with my schedule in the event that I wouldn't be able to leave early for work.
