If you have some simple auto body work that requires repair, they are excellent. They are very pleasant to work with and do a great job with communicating and providing status reports. But if you have mechanical damage, especially with the electronic and computer aspects of today's vehicles, the repairs are beyond their capabilities. They were unable to even diagnose issues with our temperature sensors after the front end of our truck was torn off by a reckless driver. Date of accident was Dec 4th. We finally had our vehicle in February. read more

Husband got in an accident. He was not at fault. They called and said the car was ready after he had already turned in his rental. He started driving and realized, all but his drivers window was unable to roll down which was a result of the accident. This is the 2nd accident that he was not at fault and insurance is covering it. However, having to continue to pay for deposits for rental cars and $500 deductibles are expensive, having to fill up gas for 2 separates cars is expensive when gas is $6 a gallon, especially in this economy, so once Caliber reaches out to him to get his car fixed, we've decided he will ride the bus until his car gets fixed. Wished they would have checked the whole car before telling us it was ready. Definitely an inconvenience and they have not reached out to bring the car to get fixed. read more

USPS truck rear ended my car about 5 weeks ago. Received several voicemails and calls from Caliber in FrReno to schedule drop off for repairs. I called and scheduled a drop off for repairs at 4PM with Caliber. I received call from Freddy service manager at Fresno at 2PM telling me the have to order the part before I drop off. WTF have you been doing for the last 5 weeks when you first seen my car for estimate??? Now Caliber Fresno says they can't do the repairs due to conflict. Caliber screws up, now they deny service. Avoid this unorganized repair shop, what else will they not account for on your repairs??? read more

They Messed Up My AC -- Terrible Service I brought my car to Caliber Collision for body work and it's a newer car with only 10k miles, and they somehow managed to mess up my AC in the process. Body work was good. The replacement and securing of the bed of the truck was unacceptable. Fuel hosing screws were loose, out of the 8 bolts that secure bed only 1 was tightened, 1 missing and 6 loose bolts. I had to physically go down and tighten bolts and screws. Complete failure on the quality control assurance. After you pick up you vehicle be sure to look all around including underneath. read more

I previously had went to caliber collision to have some paint work done to my car. Got in an accident where someone hit me and that was the first place I thought to take it to. The service advisor at this location was very rude and condescending saying that the damages which were from the accident weren't going be accepted by insurance. And ended up turning me away saying that we're going to be unable to work on my vehicle. This was really disheartening because I had such a good experience previously, with Adolfo and this location overall. I was really disappointed and feel like their customer service has gone down and really was just trying to have my car fixed which was through insurance. Our insurance company had us take our car to the one on Auto Center Drive. They dismantled it to do an estimate then refused to put it back together when the insurance company wasn't going to cover their estimate. REFUSED stating they couldn't do it without our paying for the parts. Extortion much? Having to pay to have it towed home now in pieces. Looking into litigation but for now, we're screwed. Horrible Service! Poor Management and their communication was nonexistent! Our daughter was in an accident, she's a college student who lives away from home, such a scary experience getting that phone call and we just couldn't get to her fast enough. From the moment we dropped off her car at Caliber Collision Auto Center it was a nightmare, I called the auto shop a week later to get an update since we hadn't heard from them left a message, and we later found out our daughter's car just sat at the shop untouched for over a week. Again we do not live in Fresno and our daughter is away at school, with no car to get to and from school and work. We then decided not work with them and we were told Caliber Collision would tow the car to a different auto shop but once again the car just sat there for another 4 days didn't get towed and we were never called. Just a horrible experience overall! They cause more stress on our daughter and us, DO NOT trust them, I would never recommend this shop to anyone! We eventually found an auto body shop that took car of our daughter and her car. read more

If I could give less than one star, I would. Their customer service is terrible! On a Friday they asked me to approve taking the engine out for a more in-depth quote. I asked them to let me contact my insurance provider for guidance. I called them back on Monday to authorize the work. All along I was getting messages like "parts ordered" "we're working on your vehicle" and "we think your car will be ready on this date." Long and short of it, they were not working on my truck and three weeks later asked me to have it moved somewhere else b/c they didn't want to deal with it. My insurance co and I both asked for explanations which were very unclear and defensive. My recommendation is DO NOT GO TO THESE PEOPLE. They are unprofessional to the extreme!! read more
