Receptionist woman has an attitude , from the first day I met her she was rude. There were also numerous times were I called during my claim she Ofcourse spoke with an unpleasant demeanor as if I was bothering her by simply wanted to speak to a representative. I understand if I was a receptionist at a caliber Collison I would definitely not be happy with my job however I wouldn't spread the negativity from my personal well being amongst the customers who are getting their veihcles repaired there. I live in Frisco, and I bought a used car for some Gig Economy Renters from a LOT, and the driver Door was leaking when I went through the car wash. I arrived at Caliber Collision and the intake process was quick and smooth. I showed the issue to Damian Roman, in which he explained there were some previous inconsistent repairs, which would take some doing to completely fix the car, but said "let him try to align the door as a courtesy, If that is all I wanted". I took my car in to get an estimate to have my driver's side door religned after my car fell off a jack while changing a tire. The door had started creaking as the metal was rubbing, so I could not ignore it any longer. Instead of just giving me an estimate, Manny actually repaired it--in about 30 minutes! Damian was great! Professional, nice, kept me well informed. I picked up my vehicle there was a scratch on it about an inch long, down to the metal. Very obvious. It was not there when I dropped it off. Spoke was Garrett, the general manager, and he was beyond rude and condescending. Totally denied they did the damage as he had pictures. The picture was did not reflect the metal scratch. He went so far as to basically say I was lieing. I have no reason to lie! He also put his hand on my shoulder when he was talking to me. As a female, I was completely taken back by this type of behavior. Yes, I was extremely upset and felt violated. I would go back, based upon Damian, but 100% will not if Garrett is there. I had great service with Caliber Collision in Frisco on 423 for a minor bumper accident, but my steering wheel got damaged by someone at the shop, from what I believe to be a "ring" on someone's finger. The damage started flat and chewed up, but grew frayed and deep as I drove my car more. When the damage got visually and physically bigger, I went in to seek resolution. They admitted no fault, and I was fine with that just as long as I got partial compensation for the damage that clearly happened there. My mistake was waiting several days, as didn't expect to for steering wheel to get worse. The picture attached is damage after only 10 days of driving, this was not there before my service drop off. They were going to partially compensate me, but I gave a negative internal survey and Garrett decided not to honor our hand shake agreement, and pretty much told me: "That's the way it's going to be". At least he didn't say: "Bless your heart"... My advice to people is, take pictures of your car before leaving it at Caliber Collision for service, and really inspect the car for damage after the service is complete, if and only if you're going to allow Caliber Collision in Frisco on 423, work on your car. Bottom line... I did not have that damage before I left the car at Caliber Collision in Frisco on 423. I should have gone back immediately, instead of feeling like I could deal with the damage, but hindsight is always 20/20, foresight is 20/50. read more

I honestly couldn't believe it when my daughter came home and said she hit a mailbox! I mean I had just purchased this brand new 2019 car in October. Shame on me, I did hear from numerous people don't purchase a brand new car for a 16 year old. Well, good thing mailbox and daughter are fine, car not so much. Caliber Collision came recommended by my auto insurance. I called them immediately and they had my car in and an estimate to me in under 48 hours. My point of contact was a man named Dan. I am all about service and he did not disappoint. He walked me through what would take place and when I could expect the car returned. Let's say he over delivered on every step. I absolutely loved the texts I received keeping me informed. When I needed to speak to him he was always readily available. My daughters car was actually delivered to us a week earlier than expected. It looked just like it did when I picked it up from the Jetta showroom in October. No one would ever know how demolished it was. Good as new. These guys are great! I had a piece come loose on the tailgate of my Lexus. I bumped into my garage door at home and the tailgate component came loose. I tried without success to reassemble it myself. I stopped here to see what it would cost to get it fixed. The manager came out to the parking lot to look at it and give me an estimate. Instead of writing an estimate, he worked with it and was able to get it back to where it needed to be in just a few minutes! I drive off a really happy customer. Honest service! These folks went above and beyond normal service. My new Genesis G90 had sustained some scratches on the trunk lid from a car wash. I filed a claim with my insurance company, who suggested a number of repair locations, including Caliber Collision on 275 Old Newman Road in West Frisco. Arriving at the appointed time, I was greeted by Nathan Herrington, a very courteous service advisor. After looking at the damage, he said the scratches might be able to be buffed out. He took it to the shop and, voila, the car was returned in about 20 minutes, and the scratches were gone! I asked Nathan how much I owed. He thanked me for my service (USMC - had been noted by my insurance carrier) and said, "no charge." He then canceled the insurance claim, as it was no longer needed. I commend and thank both Caliber Collision, West Frisco, and service advisor Nathan Herrington, for the outstanding service and the superior result. I was duly impressed! read more

Terrible service. I knew better than to come back here, but USAA recommended them again. First time, they lied to me about fixing something that they didn't fix. This time I waited an hour and a half for the enterprise people to "get back from lunch". They didn't seem to like it that I was pissed about this. BTW - it was 4:00pm when they returned. They will throw out whatever is in your car. Was never told my car would be cleaned out in addition to what it was brought in for. If you have anything of sentimental value in your car, take it all out before you give it to them. They will throw it all out without asking anything. No cleaning or going through every individual compartment on the interior was ever asked for. Horrible service. read more

Caliber on Newman Road is the best!! We have used them several times before but I recently hit something in my brand new car :( They got me in the next day and were so professional and easy to work with from the beginning. Matt was my service tech and he was so good with updates. Nathan took my call any time Matt was unavailable. Today my insurance company called to say I needed to go get my car and turn in the rental - with no notice! I went straight to pick up the car and the manager Garrett was awesome. He had the car ready, sanitized, cleaned and warming up for me. They all had on masks and were especially careful because of coronavirus. Insurance hadn't even sent in the correct paperwork to release the car but Garrett made sure I was ready to go and got out of there quickly. Audi Owners - you have choices!! I recently needed to repair a damaged bumper on my Audi A4. I called the Audi dealership, and they referred me to another shop in Plano that is the only certified Audi body shop in the area. I called that shop twice with questions about the repair process, and the person who answered the phone acted like I was disrupting her day and didn't actually answer my questions. Big surprise - that place has terrible reviews on Yelp. I chose Caliber Collision primarily because of their Yelp reviews. They didn't disappoint. The customer service was amazing - from the person who answered my initial call (she gladly answered all of my questions) to my technician Andy. Andy kept us informed throughout the entire process - I never had to call him to get an update. He worked directly with my insurance company to get the claim approved to cover additional damage they found during the repair as well as getting them to approve the use of genuine Audi parts instead of after-market. My car looks brand new! Andy was even kind enough to buff out a scratch on the side of the car before we picked it up. I wouldn't hesitate to send any of my friends to this location. read more

The people at this location could not care less about their customers. They won't get on the phone or return calls. They are either either incompetent or liars. Either way I will never bring them my business again. They fixed one of my cars last year and it was a good experience. This year I had a new issue with another car and was completely ignored. The Geico rep that works there was no better. No one can take two minutes to be helpful or even return a phone call. There are too many options to waste your time with this place. Beware! read more

My advice: triple check all things they fix and call Jason if something doesn't look right; he'll take care of you as long as you're willing to be patient with their techs. My girlfriend had an insurance quote appointment that we confirmed the TIME the day before and when I arrived was simply told that we had the wrong time and had missed our appointment. The collision repair was fine. However, I just took my Lincoln into the dealership because the outside temp guide, and wiring was damaged as it was attached to the front bumper which was replaced. They tried to patch it up and didn't do it correctly and didn't inform me that there was a problem. It also damaged the sensor for the outside air coming into the car. It will cost me $500 to repair their damage to the sensor and wiring. Very unethical of them not to report this or fix it correctly. read more

I took my car here instead of the dealers , because a friend of mine got really good service at the Calibers in Frisco. Unfortunately not all locations are the same I came to realize. My car was hit on the side, so both doors on the passenger side needed to be repaired. I thought they did a great job when I went to pick it up. The next day when I was driving to work I noticed a side pieces of the door and trim coming loose. I took it back, and they fixed the mistake fast, but a week later I start to hear a noise and notice the side piece has come loose again. I took it back again and John the manager comes out and just hit the piece back in, and sends me on my way. There was also a second piece that completely fell off and when I asked if they can fix it , he told me I can just go get the part from the dealers,and put it on. I was so surprised by the rudeness, because he was so nice before. I told John, hitting it back in will not help, something is wrong with the piece, this was the second time this came off. He just did not care, so in the end I went to the dealers and got both parts and fixed it all on my own. It really upsets me that my insurance paid thousands of dollars to them, and they could not do the job right. I could have called the insurance company and spent days going back and forth, but I just did not have the time for that. read more

This shop is awesome! I have had my car fixed by them twice now and both times the work was great. Jason and Shawn went above and beyond this last time for me. The check engine light came on and they investigated the issue...even though it had nothing to do with my wreck, they took the time to not only investigate the problem but they also repaired it for me at no cost. I've been to Caliber more times than I would like due to being hit in the lovely city of Dallas. While I can't stand the fact that people can't drive, I absolutely love the service provided at Caliber each time that I've gone there. From the time I drop off my car, I'm constantly updated on the repairs status and they usually manage to complete the repairs before the estimated date. The guys there are super friendly and willingly answer all questions and address any concerns. If you ever have to go, ask for Scott. This man goes above and beyond his job to get things done!
