Excellent experience! My 2003 Acura TL, S-model was completely dead on July 4th (of all days!) when I came out to start it around 5:30 PM. Had to call Roadside Assistance to jump it so I could get to O'Reilly's Auto Parts for a new battery before they closed. They said it was the alternator not the battery. Contacted DFW Mobile Repair and [[HIGHLIGHT]]Hamm responded immediately with a price quote to fix it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Set up the appointment for mid-afternoon the next day, July 5th (Sunday, on a holiday weekend).[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Hamm was certainly knowledgeable, and after testing, said it was BOTH the battery and alternator. He replaced the alternator (which he had brought, having had my prior information as to car and model) and then drove to O'Reilly's nearby for a replacement battery which he then installed. Our Toyota Corolla's engine light came on and then the car stopped turning on at all. We were worried that it would be a huge issue and weren't able to take it to the dealership. I was in a jam with a window that collapsed (couldn't roll it up) and called DFW Mobile Repair to help me after hours. I appreciated them showing up quickly for the repair after hours. Unfortunately, the replacement part that they put in stopped working after a couple weeks. When I called to complain about the broken part and the supposed warranty, the Saudi man with whom I spoke was very rude and said that the warranty would not cover the part replacement. Nonsense for a $450 window repair that lasted less than a month. Not only all that, but in replacing the window, the guy cracked open the plastic cover/cup for the door handle that I also had to get replaced. Awful place. Do not trust your valuable car with these fraudsters. read more
