I was steered to this shop by my insurance company's concierge service. The concierge was a FIVE STAR person with almost daily status updates. The body shop appeared to be a very large outfit (i.e. more experienced "body-builders") which made me initially enthusiastic about choosing this location. Sadly, after driving the car home, I discovered a few issues - unfinished, sub-standard and unprofessional work. To add insult to injury, the parts broken during the failed installation attempt for one of the parts had been left on the rear seat (along with the mechanic's hat). The shop was not even bothered to do a simple tire pressure check. The left side tires were 4 psi below spec. The new tires on the right were in compliance. Either the quality of the parts or the workmanship failed to restore the repairs to a respectable solidity (still flimsy to the touch). Chrome plating rather than anodizing, etc. Some of these "surprises" perhaps were at the directive of the insurance company's adjuster for sure and my own ignorance is fully complicit as such. I drove the car back to the shop and the newly assigned person (whatever happened to the person who was originally assigned - "him not worry?") duly apologized and stated that parts would have to be ordered. Still waiting for further updates and it has been over a week. Like most other aspects of the auto industry, repairs have cut-throat competition and survival of the fittest is de rigueur. I hope that Caliber can filter out these types of issues and offer the type of service that the insurance company's concierge professed. read more

I went in for an estimate for my bumper. All the staff were welcoming, attentive, kind, and courteous. The customer service was above and beyond! I was given honest and genuine feedback for my issue. I encountered several individuals but Andrew Ginn, service advisor, was the one who truly went out of his way to assist me! This is a new caliber collision location. I came here and found it by calling the customer service because I didn't want to the location were I previously got my car fixed. Tom the manager was really helpful. I would strongly recommend this location compared to their location in Denton. Hopefully they can fix my car were their other location messed up. As I walked in to inquire about an Insurance claim repair I was "greeted" by and extremely rude receptionist that seemed more interested in checking her Instagram than helping customers. When I finally got her attention she was rude, condescending, and annoyed that I had questions about the timeline on repairs to one of my fleet vehicles. I was then referred to one of the estimators that took a look at my service truck and told me the repair would take 2 months to get parts. I would be required to leave the vehicle with them while they waited on parts...um....not taking my vehicle out of fleet to sit in a parking lot for two months not making me money. I asked if they would break down my truck to order parts then get it back on the road while parts were on order. He immediately said it wasn't possible to do that and after I asked several more times he said he would have to talk to his manager for approval, then would give me a call. That was over a week ago and still haven't heard from that clown. Took my vehicle to a different shop, parts will be in next week, and I am able to still use my truck in the field.....If you value your time, avoid this place at all costs. read more

I was rear ended in March, Geico contacted me the same day of the accident to arrange a date and time for me to have my vehicle repaired. We agreed that I'd drop my car off at the Caliber Collision nearest my employment. I met the adjuster at the repair shop and we discussed the process, I explained to her that my rear sensors have gone awry since the accident and the front seat headrests both deployed when I was hit so I needed each issue to be addressed. She advised that they see a lot of that with Mercedes vehicles and that I had nothing to worry about because the issues would be addressed and resolved when I came to pick my vehicle up. Apparently neither issue was addressed upon the return of my car, my rear bumper was replaced and looked like new but I was very disappointed to find that both headrests were still deployed and I was still receiving the rear tail light warning on my dash. I responded to a survey that caliber collision sent out and explained my frustration and disappointment but never heard anything back. So I'm leaving this review as a warning to anyone who might be considering using Caliber Collision as a recommendation of Geico, please make sure that every issue you address with the adjuster can be fixed by the repair shop and if they tell you that it can be fixed, make sure that it is fixed because when you've been injured in a car accident...the last thing that you want to deal with is trying to find another repair shop to repair something that you were guaranteed would be repaired at the initial shop. read more

I had my car repaired at Caliber Frisco once before and was pleased. My recent experience however, was quite the opposite. The front of my car had to be repainted (hood and fenders), so they took the paint to mid-front door to blend. The problem was the match was significantly darker and the blend was extremely poor. What was worse was my adviser, Matt, didn't catch the poor match and worse blend. I took it back for rework and the workmanship did not improve. It was still noticeably darker on the front, and there was overspray that had not been buffed out in at least 6 spots on the car, white spots on the passenger seat and interior, and the front license plate was attached crooked. I took it back again and they completed the buffing and fixed the license plate, but I still have a two-tone car - noticeably darker on the front half than the back. Though Caliber made attempts to remedy, my service adviser was far from providing the level of customer service he should have provided, considering the severity of the problem they created. Empathy and apology ran out after the first visit. He was rude, but he left much room for ensuring he had a satisfied customer who was overwhelmed with his commitment to making things right. Just treated like I was a dumb customer. I'm writing this review sort of late hoping that maybe I could have lived with the paint job they did here but I can't. It looks awful....not even close to matching. I talked to the manager and the tech that did the work and was told a bunch of lies to get me to shut up. Then he gave me a five dollar gift card for my "troubles". I had a brand new Mazda 3 with pearl white paint and it looks like a different shade. Everyone can see it, especially me. I will smear the work they do here until I die. I've read reviews from all of their facilities across the us and they all have the same thing going for them. They will never be as good as the dealer. Unless you have an older car. Save yourself the grief and put up with the dealer. The work will come out better. Added note: my dash and door had white residue on it. read more

In early April this year I took my wife's 2014 Ford in to have a cracked tail light replaced. There was no other damage and the service consultant said they would order the part, call us when it was in, and it would take 15mins to install while we waited. We hadn't heard back from Caliber so I called back in late May (over a month) and discovered our Service Consultant had left the company and the Service Manager would call me back same day. That didn't happen so I called him the following day. The Manager apologized and said he or one of his staff would call us when they ordered the part and let me know when it was in. Well, that didn't happen (3rd time). It's been over a week so I called the Manager back and it turns out they've had the part 'a while'. He apologized again; I'm guessing he does that a lot. I can't remember when someone didn't want my business this badly. If it was not for the hassle of getting another quote I would have found another shop after the second apology. read more

I took my 2012 Dodge Challenger there after some metal flew up in front of my car on the highway. I was given the phone number and address from someone at my insurance company and I have to say they were dead on in that suggestion. The guys at Caliber Collision were great. The company went above and beyond in the repairs and my car was fixed to 100% of my satisfaction. Joe was my service rep and he called me everyday to give me an update on where my car was in the process. They even got the car back to me the day before the expected delivery date. The car was spotless when I got it back as they had washed the entire car, vacuumed it out, and put armor all on my tires. It looks like they even vacuumed out my trunk, which was not even part of the repair. I had also asked for them to save the old HEMI badges from the hood because we are doing our game room at home in a car theme. They were in the cup holders when I went to pick up the car. At that point I mentioned that I would like to have the grill too if they still had it so I could put that on the wall too, but he said it was already gone. But Joe called back the next day and said that he checked the dumpster and the grill was in there so he jumped in and got the grill out for me. Everything they did was above and beyond what was expected! The service here is terrible! DO NOT come to this place to get your car fixed. We did because our insurance company recommended them. They've lied to us twice on when my car would be ready and now I've had to cancel doctor and dentists appointments. Don't trust what they tell you at all or you will be sorry like we are! When we called last Friday, they said they would have it ready this Friday. When I called today(Tuesday) they said it should be sometime next week. That would be at least 2 1/2 weeks that I've been without a car and they could care less!!!! read more

I went to Caliber Collision to get an estimate to buff out a scuff mark on a car that I just purchased. Instead of giving me an estimate, Fernando and Joey took the car back into the shop and buffed out the scuff mark in less than 10 minutes. The car looks like new! This is my first review of an auto body shop. Unfortunately, I was the front car of a 3 car fender bender. Since Caliber Collision was close to where I live, I decided to entrust my 2012 Honda Pilot in their hands. I dropped my SUV off with them yesterday late morning and was greeted by Ron, my service manager. I don't think I have ever met a friendlier guy- just genuinely happy. He called me at the end of the day yesterday to let me know the status of the repairs, which I always appreciate when I feel informed. What was more outstanding about the place was that they were able to finish my repairs ahead of schedule. The work was impeccable, they detailed and washed my car and buffed out a few scratches that were not part of the accident claim. They guarantee their work for life. My experience with Caliber Collision was perfection. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. I was kept up to date throughout the entire process. Today I picked up my car, earlier than the scheduled date! Aaron was so helpful and went out of his way to make sure I got my car back even though I came after closing. My car was cleaned inside and out and looked fantastic. I brought my car in with low fuel and knew I would have to go get gas immediately after getting it. I noticed how low it was and was nervous I would even make it to the gas station. Aaron took my car to the gas station for me and bought my gas as well. He refused to take my money and it really seemed like it was not an inconvenience at all. The nice young woman working the desk was also incredibly sweet and opened the doors and offered me a drink while he was getting my gas. I have never written a review before, but felt compelled to after such amazing customer service. Aaron was kind, generous, and went above and beyond for me. I have had a few visits to Caliber Collision over the years. They are consistently very good, except for this time. This time they were GREAT! FANTASTIC! EXCEPTIONAL! I purchased a 2015 used vehicle for my daughter who's headed to college. Within a few days, while stopped in a parking lot waiting for a space, a car backed into the front of my Jeep. Nothing serious, but a fair amount of damage. Remember, this was to be a gift to my daughter, and she knew nothing about it. I took it to Caliber Collision on Preston Rd. in Frisco. I met with Jonathan the manager, as he had helped me in the past. I explained to him the situation, and the time frame that we had to get it fixed and ready for my daughter. Long story short: Jonathan and Caliber exceeded all expectations, made the Jeep look better than it was prior to the accident, and agreed to help us with the reveal for my kid. When we pulled up, there was a big bow on the hood, and the rest is history. There are not enough good things to say about this place. These guys did an awesome job. By the time I got my car back, it looked better than it did before the wreck. They washed it, cleaned the tires, cleaned and vacuumed the inside, and even topped of my gas tank. Ron is the man. He kept me updated every few days with what was going on and when I should expect my car. Got it back on the exact day they said, and even offered to drop it back off at my house! I will be taking my car here in the future for regular maintenance because of how great of an experience I had. Great job, guys. read more

Why ever you do DO NOT take your car here. They are liars I took my car in over a month ago on 6/14 and it is 7/26 today. My car had minor damage to the front and I was supposed to pick it up 3 weeks ago. On the first initial date I was going to pick it up they made up a lie and pushed the pick up date back by a week. So that next week I called on the pick up date and they said the forgot a part and the pick up date had been pushed back a week. So that next week I called on the pick up date and the pick up date had been pushed back another week. So 5 days later I decided to go look at my car and they just had it sitting at the very back of the shop with the front bumper off and had had only done one thing to the car. Today They have horrible customer service and are liars do not take your vehicle here ! They do not even deserve 1 star read more

Took my car in and felt pretty good about my decision to use CC. Started working with one guy and then got switched to another. Probably received at least 6 disappointing calls stating something else had to be done (repaint due to poor match of color?) or other parts ordered and that Ford supposedly never had in stock. Took over a month to get my car back. Was always told they'd call me right back, but it was me who almost always initiated the calls. Once I did get my car back, the third seat still had glass in it. Was told they would make sure it was completely cleaned up. Just really disappointed overall. Will give them this, they were always nice delivery the bad news, although it felt like most of it was just excuses. Just wish at some point they would have started overnighting parts instead of waiting days to receive them. I hope I never need a body shop, but if I do, I'm not using them. read more
