Absolutely, positively, the WORST auto body experience I've ever had. If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. This review is a long time coming. I didn't do it initially because Eddie Cardenas begged me not to. He said that if I wasn't going to give them a good review, he would rather I didn't give them a review at all. I honored his request because honestly, the problem wasn't with him but rather with another technician who's apparently related to him. I had previously brought in my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and had exceptional service with the previous manager that I encountered. Due to that experience I decided to bring in my 2023 Toyota Highlander earlier this year when I had an accident. Unfortunately, the other manager I dealt with before wasn't there anymore. The problem wasn't when I dropped off my vehicle but rather when I was told it was repaired and ready for pick up. When I arrived, I got into my SUV and noticed mud splatter all over the inside of my car. On the seats as well as my mats. I was upset but I understood that my doors were mostly likely taken off for the repairs and since it had been raining for some days that MAYBE it was dirtied during repair. I went inside and asked to speak with someone about the mess. When approached by the technician, I asked that they clean the inside of my vehicle because I knew I didn't give them my Highlander in those conditions. He laughed at me and said they do a "courtesy" clean to the inside of the car. He proceeded to say that my mats were already dirty. Idk if it was the fact that he accused me of lying or the fact that he laughed but honestly, I lost my mind!! I must of taken out my mats and threw them on the ground. I proceeded to yell at him explaining that I most certainly did NOT bring my car in that condition and that they needed to clean it. He refused. Another gentleman (Eddie) came out and asked what was going on. I proceeded to explain the issue but at this point, I was so heated I was still yelling. Which in hindsight, I know was wrong as it wasn't Eddie's fault. It wasn't his fault that the other dude was super unprofessional. It wasn't his fault that my car was filthy. And it wasn't his fault that I couldn't hold my composure. Anyway, he agreed to have my car cleaned even though it was already closing time. He had one of his guys stay longer just to take the mud off the mats and seats. I appreciate Eddie's professionalism and his dedication in making sure the customer leaves satisfied. Fast forward to today, my car was involved in another accident and needs repair AGAIN. I called to make an appointment to bring in my vehicle and was given an appointment to drop off my Highlander tomorrow, 11/20 @0900. I then received a phone call back this evening that they will not be fixing my vehicle due to the last incident. That they have already contacted my AAA insurance to let them know so that they can recommend another auto body shop to do my repairs. If that's what I need to do, so be it. They are within their right to refuse services to whomever they wish. However, I'm within mine to leave them the review they deserved in the first place. Clearly they are not about outstanding customer service because with all the body shops available (and with my previous experience) I could've gone ANYWHERE else. They were given the opportunity to redeem themselves and retain a loyal customer; yet, they declined. So, in the end, I will be giving my business to someone else (and so will everyone I know) and they can continue to give mediocre services to those who'll accept it. I am so grateful to Jesus Cardenas. I came in with a small dent that had white paint on my car. It was such an eye sore. I don't want to repair the dent yet, but Jesus buffed out the paint and the dent is hardly noticeable. Now I can wait till I'm ready to get the dent repaired. He didn't charge me which I didn't expect. read more

Service seemed very good at first, I went through insurance. They quoted me and game me an estimated time of about a week. After a two days they called me saying my car was ready. My wife picked it up but she did not check the work. After a week of rain, the car was flooded. All the carpet got wet and mats. My wife don't know where the water was coming from so I sprayed water to check the work that they had caliber was done. I had several leaks in the back where they had worked on. I also noticed that the paint was not matching. Called them back asked them to check their work. Also I asked for rental since they did not spend enough time repairing the car, about half the time they quoted me for. Even before when the car was wrecked from the back no water was leaking as it was after the repair. They tried to have me pay for the rental but I refused. I told them it wasn't my fault that they did not verified their work and rushed the repair. Daniel was the person who helped me and he seemed annoyed with all the questions I was asking ask the things I was telling him. Daniel seems to take advantage of girls since they don't know much about cars and they walk away a with what they are told from supposedly experts!! If you use caliber please check your car when you get home and make sure it's fixed properly. read more

The receptionist, welcomes you with a great smile and make you feel comfortable especially if you are not familiar with the process. Caliber collision Body Shop is a place where any car owner will immediately realize as soon as they arrive this is a different kind of experience. Yes, most of the time they are quite busy and there's a very good reason for it! But them being busy doesn't mean you'll be ignored whether you may have a really big $ job for them or only a small job. No matter what's your reasoning for going to Caliber Collision you'll be treated with same respect, professionalism and quality of work performed on your vehicle by qualified and knowledgeable professionals! Steve was immensely helpful in my time of need and he walked right up to my vehicle and before I know it, the issue I was having was solved in minutes. When I was thinking possibly I'll be in need of an intrusive and costly maintenance issue that will cost me a little bit of $$$, Steve advised me he can fix it in minutes and that what he did exactly. The cost? Well, he told me "not to worry and have a good day"... That was the kind of customer service we're missing to see around nowadays. In the past they did a paint job on my wife's car and it was exceptionally good and very reasonably priced. So, in the past I went to them, and in the future I'll again go to them. I had some knarley peeling paint on my Mazda6, from what I assume was weather damage, started after a few car washes, it spread, all across my bumper. Called my insurance company to see if it's covered under my policy, fortunately for us, it was. They recommended Caliber Collison in Los Banos. From the moment I walked up, to the moment they handed me my keys back... Outstanding customer service. They went above and beyond, from their friendly staff and service, to their A+++ quality body work! Great attention to detail! I was side swept in August and went to Caliber for help . From the very beginning they answered each and every question ( there was a lot ) I had and were beyond friendly and helpful. Danny explained the whole process from beginning to end on what would be done and what to expect when dropping off the car and picking up the rental. Reana in the front was amazing when having to deal with an issue with my insurance and was able to get the situation resolved. Went from being a stressful moment and still having to deal with my tired 2 year old to shocked on how quickly she was able to manage it . She even helped make him laugh when he was getting fussy (: RC the manager called me after the work was done to make sure I was happy with my whole experience and for me that's great customer service. Someone ran into my rear bumper when I was shopping, no note of course, it broke the clip holding the bumper so it flaired away from the car, the taillight was also broken. I got my appointment, took it in after they got the parts and I took vacation for the rest of the week. I was called the next day to say it was finished! I keep my car clean but it was even cleaner than when I left it and my beautiful Jaguar was beautiful once again. They even cleaned the tape residue that was left from the duct tape I used to keep the bumper on! Very happily surprised. I highly recommend Caliber Collision! read more

I got into a situation where I was stranded after miraculously surviving an accident 250 miles North of LA on my way to Oregon, where I dodged a surf rack that ripped off the car in front of me and was sent hurling at my windshield at 80 mph. I went across oncoming traffic between two semi-trucks, and was miraculously unhurt, but my car had a broken axle and was totaled. I was in the middle of Nowhere off I5 and my insurance, USAA, recommended Caliber Collision in the nearest town. When I came in after being out in 100 degrees all day navigating the insurance claims and a tow, Michelle, Steve, Ken, and the rest of the staff were extremely nice and accommodating. It was great seeing some friendly faces after such a stressful day. I had to spend the night in town, so they even recommended a hotel near by and gave me a ride to the hotel, as I no longer had transportation. I hope anyone that survives a wreck in the area ends up at Caliber Collision. It's never fun and always challenging, but great people help to make it manageable. I couldn't recommend more. read more

I would highly recommend Caliber Collision, for any body work or repairs you might need. The rear hatch on my Yukon wasn't opening so I went there to see what could be done, thinking I would need to make an appointment to leave at a future date. The general manager, Rick Carganilla, was very helpful and friendly. He had someone look at it immediately and within 45 minutes I had my car back and my hatch working. My experience with caliber collision was so great. I stopped by on my lunch break. An after market lip on the front of my bumper had been askew and the bumper itself was slightly pulled away from the body and had been bothering me for awhile now. The staff was fantastic. From the office manager to RC and the bodyman. They made me feel valued. They added a few clips to resecure the bumper and lip and away I went. They wouldn't accept any money either. I had my car brought in because of a broken window and a gas cap and a door handle these people had my car for almost a month I'm so disappointed they could of built my whole car in that amount of time and two weeks before I took it in for the estimate so they could order the parts and still been there a month ridiculous people are friendly but the service is extremely slow read more

I dropped off my car 11/6/22 the greeting I got was do I have an appointment ?Rude little person at front desk. I explained to them my Insurance co. Farmers said to bring car in later at 4:00pm. this was 830am. in the morning. When I did bring car in other folks were sitting waiting to get a quote after 45 minutes + My ride had to leave so I told them can I get a quote soon? They could not, too busy, I told them I'd leave car and key to get me a quote later that week. Now they have my car car for a month and a week? My auto insurance 30 max rental ran out, I took the day off work to get my car when I was told it be completed 12/7/22. That morning I sent a text for an update and called my auto insurance I needed a rental for the weekend and work monday 12/9/22 So in the end my car is still in their shop I rode in with a co-worker, someone named RC tried calling late 12/7/22 after 530pm. As I walked home from the car rental approx 4 miles to home. I visited Caliber Collision for the first time since it changed ownership. It was a pleasant surprise when I arrived and seen familiar faces who were part of the previous business. I needed a minor adjustment to my door and Caliber had a technician perform the service while I waited; I was in and out in less than 20 minutes and my door has stop rattling.
