I didn't do it initially because Eddie Cardenas begged me not to. He said that if I wasn't going to give them a good review, he would rather I didn't give them a review at all. I honored his request because honestly, the problem wasn't with him but rather with another technician who's apparently related to him. I had previously brought in my 2015 Nissan Pathfinder and had exceptional service with the previous manager that I encountered. Due to that experience I decided to bring in my 2023 Toyota Highlander earlier this year when I had an accident. Unfortunately, the other manager I dealt with before wasn't there anymore. The problem wasn't when I dropped off my vehicle but rather when I was told it was repaired and ready for pick up. When I arrived, I got into my SUV and noticed mud splatter all over the inside of my car. On the seats as well as my mats. I was upset but I understood that my doors were mostly likely taken off for the repairs and since it had been raining for some days that MAYBE it was dirtied during repair. I went inside and asked to speak with someone about the mess. When approached by the technician, I asked that they clean the inside of my vehicle because I knew I didn't give them my Highlander in those conditions. He laughed at me and said they do a "courtesy" clean to the inside of the car. He proceeded to say that my mats were already dirty. Idk if it was the fact that he accused me of lying or the fact that he laughed but honestly, I lost my mind!! I must of taken out my mats and threw them on the ground. I proceeded to yell at him explaining that I most certainly did NOT bring my car in that condition and that they needed to clean it. He refused. Another gentleman (Eddie) came out and asked what was going on. I proceeded to explain the issue but at this point, I was so heated I was still yelling. Which in hindsight, I know was wrong as it wasn't Eddie's fault. It wasn't his fault that the other dude was super unprofessional. It wasn't his fault that my car was filthy. And it wasn't his fault that I couldn't hold my composure. Anyway, he agreed to have my car cleaned even though it was already closing time. He had one of his guys stay longer just to take the mud off the mats and seats. I appreciate Eddie's professionalism and his dedication in making sure the customer leaves satisfied. Fast forward to today, my car was involved in another accident and needs repair AGAIN. I called to make an appointment to bring in my vehicle and was given an appointment to drop off my Highlander tomorrow, 11/20 @0900. I then received a phone call back this evening that they will not be fixing my vehicle due to the last incident. That they have already contacted my AAA insurance to let them know so that they can recommend another auto body shop to do my repairs. If that's what I need to do, so be it. They are within their right to refuse services to whomever they wish. However, I'm within mine to leave them the review they deserved in the first place. Clearly they are not about outstanding customer service because with all the body shops available (and with my previous experience) I could've gone ANYWHERE else. They were given the opportunity to redeem themselves and retain a loyal customer; yet, they declined. So, in the end, I will be giving my business to someone else (and so will everyone I know) and they can continue to give mediocre services to those who'll accept it. (Please see photos for tax!)

However, during my last visit, my windshield wiper broke off while my car was inside the wash. I went to speak with the owner, expecting him to handle it calmly and help resolve the issue. The wiper only costs about $10, so I thought reimbursement or even a free wash for the inconvenience would be reasonable. Instead, he blamed me and said I must have turned on my wipers while the machine was washing my car, which I did not do. I felt like he was trying to make me look like I was lying. I also asked if there was any way I could get a free wash for the inconvenience, and he refused and said no multiple times. I was not there to complain about how the car wash works I was only there because my windshield wiper broke while using their service. I didn't want to write this review, but I am very disappointed with how the situation was handled and with the customer service I received from the owner. If something happens to your car here, don't expect them to take responsibility. Because of this experience, I do not recommend this place.

My car came out clean, as always. THE AIR COMPRESSORS ARE BACK! They're awesome for getting tiny bits out of the dash and vents, and for drying stuff I can't reach. The vacuum sucked up all the baking soda I used on the carpet to get rid of the smoke smell. The people who work there are nice and pleasant. I noticed the parking/vacuum area was clean. I observed an employee checking and emptying the trash bins. You know, if people actually put their garbage in the trash bins, the area wouldn't look sloppy. #litterbug I don't understand why customers don't understand the plans they offer? It's simple; don't make it difficult. I have had zero billing issues. IMO, it's the best car wash in town. You may not agree. There's always the self-wash open 24/7 down the road. Lol.

However, there were complete areas that were missed: under the rear window, headrests, front of console, etc. There was also some just splashing from the cleaning that wasn't wiped up. I opted out of the trunk and exterior cleaning. Took 1.5 hours and was $250. The price was standard for the area, not really a bargain or overcharge. It was over the estimated price. The bad: there are two small burn marks in one of the seats that were not there before. I wouldn't have been too upset if they had said anything but failed to mention it. Again, was not expecting my car to look perfect, it's over a decade old. They put in a lot of work, but there were some areas for improvement.

He was supposed to drive there on Saturday and get to So. Cal before dark. However, he left after dark. He passed Los Banos (Route 33 exit) close to midnight and his engine started running really rough and it was losing power. He limped to the next exit, at less than 25 mph, turn around, and come back to Los Banos. We picked him up around 1:30 and got back home at 3AM. At 8AM (Easter morning), we started calling mechanics in Los Banos. Of course, we used Yelp and sorted by ratings. We went down the list and left messages for everyone. We just prayed that someone would be willing to work on a holiday. Jesse was the only one who answered the phone. We explained our predicament. He agreed to help if we could get there by 10. He had a family picnic planned. My son's car was parked about 2 miles from Jesse's shop. We were able to get it running and over to the shop before 10AM. Jesse found the problem, was able to obtain the necessary parts, and had the car fixed in about 3 hours. He charged a very reasonable amount. My son made it to So. Cal before dark (a day late), and Jesse still got to spend the rest of the day with his family. If anyone I know ever needs a good mechanic in the Los Banos area, I would highly recommend Jesse and Advanced Service & Repair. Thank you, Jesse. God bless you.
