I got rear ended & took my car to Caliber Collision. They had my car for nearly 4 weeks.... but once I got my car back it looked brand new! They even washed my car. It still makes a weird noise and has a flat tire after I picked it up. The manger was able to help me out with tire & they put some oil or something to help with the weird noise my car was making. Recently my 2014 Honda Accord was involved in an accident on Highway 80. This car is my BABY and I was devastated when the accident occurred. Through my insurance, Caliber Collision was the recommended repair shop to go to, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. 1st off - they are LITERALLY attached to an enterprise rental car facility, which made the transition as easy as possible for dropping my car off and getting my rental. The experience I had with Caliber was unlike any with other repair shops I've worked with in the past. They worked with my insurance company and were able to find a stipulation in my contract that since my car is under 3 years old, they were to replace everything with OEM Honda parts rather than aftermarket. They were able to completely repair my car within 7 days, despite having to basically replace the front end of my cars body. My go to guy was Andy, and he called me every other day with updates, which was extremely helpful. I'd recommend this shop to anybody that needs work done on their vehicle. When I picked it up I was amazed at the quality of the work, I even took it home to measure the fender/hood/bumper gaps and everything was perfect. I had my car repaired here in January and was originally pretty happy with the repair, even though my car was NOT delivered on time. However, now that some time has passed I have some serious issues with the work. Let me start by saying when the vehicle was delivered to me, NO ONE went over my repair. I was handed the keys at the desk and sent on my way (really guys, it was close to a $5,000 repair that took close to three weeks, and on a 2017). My front bumper and left (driver's side) front panel were replaced. The gap between the hood and front panel on the repaired side is noticeably larger than that on the right side. Additionally, the panel is lifting away from the hood and the head light. I had no issues with the customer service, and the paint match is perfect, but after the length of the time and seeing the actual quality of their work, I honestly would never refer a to this shop. read more

I've been a frequent visitor at Caliber Collision due to a number of unfortunate body damage issues with my Subaru WRX. The team at Caliber, especially Greg Mello, have been awesome. They are very customer focused and work to ensure that my experience with the repair of my car outweighs the frustration that I have to have it repaired in the first place. They ensure that I'm kept up to date on the repairs and alert me to any possible delays and options. In fact, they've also have been to complete repairs ahead of schedule, which is always a bonus. One of the things that I like most is their willingness to work with me on the very specific way in which I want the repair completed, ensuring that repairs are very localized and preserve the car as much as possible. That said, they ensure the repairs are complete and that damage that may not have been discovered on the initial assessment is done so that the repair makes the car as good as new. Well being in the car business I have referred many people to Caliber. My son wrecked his car and has about $10,000 in repairs to be done. We got there at 8am 11/02 and walked in to get an estimate because our ins told us to go there. We went to the counter and the lady was rude. She told us it will be a minute because they are all in a meeting which was 10ft behind her. We got in our car and left. If a customer came into my work I would drop whatever and help. I have a zero tolerance policy for inadequate work performed by professionals who claim that they "Restore the Rhythm of your life". My time with Caliber Collision on Taylor Rd. In Rocklin started with an inspection of my 2018 Subaru Crosstrek Limited, which had minor rear bumper damage on the paint in a small area. The man who I was working with took his photos, asked me the basic questions and then concluded with scheduling my appointment. A week or so passed and I brought my vehicle back to have the work completed. A few days later, I received a phone call that my Subaru was completed so I went to go pick it up from Caliber Collision. My schedule was very pressed the day of pick up, so there was no time that evening to go over it with a fine tooth comb. I waited until the next day in full daylight to review the bumper and the work that had been performed. During my review that you will see in my photos below, I found various parts of the rear bumper that had overspray from a poor masking job prior to paint, as well as a lack of attention to detail in putting the bumper back together as there was a clip that was missing from the rear wheel well. The biggest concern that I found was that the color did not match at all -- from the transition between bumper and the rear quarter panel on the car, there seemed to have been zero effort put into matching the color of my car, to the paint/clear coat that had been applied to the bumper. I immediately got in contact with Caliber and was put in contact with Jack, the General Manager onsite at the Rocklin location. A few emails and phone calls were exchanged in addition to the in person review of the various defects. Jack seemed to be apologetic and sincere in his remarks about the work that had been performed by his team, so we concluded our conversation with the decision to have the bumper replaced and repainted because of the large amount of overspray that got on the bumper plastics during painting, also to fix the color that did not match my vehicle. A few weeks passed and I brought the vehicle back in for the warranty work -- the delay of work getting completed was strictly due to my busy work schedule and being out of town. I dropped the vehicle off on a Wednesday morning and was put into a rental vehicle, at that time I was told by Jack that the car would be done by the end of the week. I was also told that I would be kept in the loop on the status of the project timeline. I unfortunately never received any phone calls from Jack as he stated he would keep me in the loop, so I had to call multiple times and inquire about the status of where things were at and request a callback from him. On Thursday late afternoon I received an email from Jack regarding the status of matching the paint color, and the struggles that they were having. He stated that he wanted to "meet my expectations", and that was the reason that it was taking so long. Personally, taking time to mask correctly as well as putting effort into matching the color of paint prior to spraying the vehicle seems like a mandatory check box task that is every customers expectations, not just myself. On Friday I spoke with Jack again and he explained to me that his team was encountering more delays and he would not be meeting their deadline of vehicle delivery by the end of the week due to polishing and vehicle assembly. I was told that the vehicle would be ready for pickup on Monday morning and I would receive a phone call when ready from Jack. Come Monday I never received a phone call when the vehicle was ready, I was sent an automated email from Caliber Collision and no phone call was ever received from anyone onsite. I went to go pick up my vehicle and Jack was not onsite, the receptionist stated that he had just stepped out (how convenient). I waited for the Production Manager to come out to assist and he took me out to my vehicle. I reviewed the work and found yet again, the clip had not been put back on the rear wheel well, I called that out to the Production Manager he went to get a worker to put one in. Due to the cloudy dark weather, It was very hard to see the quality of work that had been completed as well, so I took the vehicle and went on my way. I waited for a few days until it became sunny outside so I could review further. During my review I unfortunately found 1000s of overspray dots all over the windows and body panels, as well as a few concerning areas of poor masking yet again, in addition to a focused area of a horrible splatter of paint on the bumper that appears to be a paint gun defect or just lack of care -- see photos attached. Caliber Collision created additional problems that affect the value of my vehicle in addition to the time that I have put aside to work with them on getting my vehicle fixed. I will be speaking directly with Caliber Collision Corporate as well as my insurance company and other parties if needed, to resolve these issues. read more

Kurt and his team at Caliber Collision on Taylor Road did a fantastic job in repairing my 2014 Honda CR-V. I took it to them on Monday and expected it to take at least all week or possibly until the following Monday to get it back. However, to my suprise, they called on Thursday and said it was ready for pick up! I am totally satisified with the repair work they did. I can't find any evidence of the accident and the car looks just as good as it did when we drove it off the showroom floor a few months ago. I highly recommend Kurt and his team at Caliber. I dropped my car off here to be fixed after someone side swiped me. It was the only Geico approved auto dealership that Geico (party that hit me ins company) would allow me to go to. As I waited in the lobby a larger male mechanic sat in one of the swivel chairs and FELL ASLEEP. Reassuring...not. Finally a different gentlemen came to help me. I turned my car in and showed all of my concerns to the guy doing his intake/estimate. Everything seemed good to go. I was told that I would be contacted when my car was ready to be picked up and they would be in contact with me. I had to call them three times to check on the status of my car with a two day delay passed when they said my car was supposed to be ready. Upon arriving to pick my car up a lot of the damage I pointed out initially was not even fixed there were still scrapes, dents, chips in the paint, and a door handle that was still damaged. This was pointed out and they immediately took my car back to be buffed (the scrapes that were still visible)..... even though I asked if that was a smart idea on a freshly painted car. Now... I have paint damage on my car aaaaaaaaagain. These idiots need management. New structure. Guidance. Something. I will NOT be back or allow any friends/family go here if they can help it. read more

Let me start by saying this shop has very good customer service, but I was not 100% pleased with the experience from start to finish. The shop got me in in a very timely manner & stayed true to their estimate of time & pricing. I chose this shop because they were highly recommended for matching difficult paint to BMW's. They also said they could do the repair without replacing my whole door which was important because I did not want to deal with wind issues if the door did not fit perfectly like my original did. That being said when I went to pick up my vehicle things got a little weird. When I came out to do an inspection on my car I was approached by one of the repair men (I assume), & he asked me if I hid my keys because they could not locate them..Hm no. I handed them to Mike when I dropped my car off. So they lost my keys, doesn't make me feel too trusting of their work right off the bat. While the repair man searched my car again for the keys (under the hood too). I looked over the rest of the repairs with Mike. I noticed right away the siding/paneling of my door was not fused to the door at all. There was a noticeable gap in between. Mike then started to pound on it to make it click in. I was getting pretty upset at this point, so Mike said "since you're not happy, we will replace the plastic clips for free & wax your car". I do not know who would be happy that their paneling wasn't fused with the door..I understand the plastic clips break easily but if you damage or break them shouldn't they be replaced without me having to mention it first? I then had to leave my car at their shop for about another week (I live an hour away) Which really upset me, it is difficult to get to work & anywhere else I need without a car. When I returned to pick up my vehicle it was extremely obvious it was not waxed. When I brought it up with Mike he said that he was new & did not know that they did not do waxing at their shop. He said he would send the car out in about a month to get waxed & sanded down where the repair was done. I am giving the shop five starts because they did do an amazing job matching the paint & on the repairs. But I am not overly pleased with the rest of the work etc. I do think this is a good shop & I know things don't always go as planned with situations like this but I wish they kept it a bit more together. I initially said I was displeased with the shop & one of their customer service reps called to speak to me & when I called back & left a message it was never returned..I have not returned to get my car waxed yet & I am a little wary to. Who knows if they will even remember promising me that. But I think the body work was done well so I still recommend this shop. read more

These guys are awesome! Needed to get my door fixed. The dealership was trying to overcharge so I brought my car in to caliber collision. Not only did they fix it that day within a few hours, but my total was less than the dealership was going to cost just to diagnosed the problem. Also, I kept going back and forth to determine the best way to pay for services, but they remained patient and assistive the whole time. They take up time and bring additional stress..... unless you go to Caliber Collision on Taylor Blvd and are lucky enough to get Tom as your advisor! He is personable, knowledgeable and efficient. He gave me weekly updates, that allowed for me to know if and when I would need to bring the rental car car. He was thorough with his explanation of what would be done to the car, and each phase of the process. He is witty and calm, and made the three weeks the car was in the shop being repaired much more tolerable. I have been to other Caliber Collision locations, but, this by far, was the best! read more

Recently, my new wife was engaged to me, married me and got the first new car she has ever owned in her life, all in one year. However, she experienced the heartbreak of having her beautiful new Dodge Challenger wrecked when an idiot opened her car door into the side of my wife's car as she drove by a line of cars parked along a city street. No one was hurt, but the incident was very upsetting for her. I had used the body shop at this location several times before they became Caliber Collision, because they were recommended by my insurance company, USAA. I had always been impressed with their integrity and level of customer service. They had even torn down and stored my beloved 1989 Dodge RamCharger, that I was intent upon saving, for six months until the civil action to recover the funds to save it turned out to be uncollectable, and charged me nothing for their effort. I knew then these people would always be my choice for collision work. About a year later, my new Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck was rear-ended (also by an idiot) with bald tires and almost no brakes. Can you believe this woman was taking her coworkers to lunch at the mall in an unsafe vehicle? Anyway, when this shop replaced my rear bumper they re-installed my very difficult-to-place aftermarket rear fog lights at no charge, even though the work was not covered in the bill to my insurance company. This saved me a lot of time on my back on the floor of my garage doing it myself again. So when my new wife's new car was torn up, we took the car straight to the shop which was then operating as part of Caliber Collision. I was so pleased to see the same people with the same high standards of customer care there. When the car was repaired, it was literally as good as new again. And just recently, when an issue arose with the clear coat (due to a problem with the material, not the work), they went over the top to take care of it and even fixed several dents that had been picked up after the original repairs, all at no charge. Then they had the car all cleaned up inside and out, so it was absolutely dazzling when my wife picked it up. They made her very happy, and I get the benefit of that! Moreover, on the occasions when my wife's car was in their shop, the staff took care to make special arrangements with the in-shop Enterprise Rent-A-Car unit to ensure that she received a replacement vehicle of equal size, to accommodate an old back injury that makes it painful and unsafe for her to use a small car. I can't say enough thanks to Casey Cox and shop manager Kurt Barstad for all they have done. Not only do they perform at the top of their trade, they truly make the customer feel entitled and welcome to receive such great service. I don't know how some of the other shops that treat people badly manage to stay in business when there are shops like Caliber Collision around. They really appreciate their customers and take great care of them. read more

Had an accident on April 1st and ruined my front end of my car. I called my insurance and they gave me a list of places to check out I called caliber collision and they got me in that day. I got a rental from the enterprise in their lobby and I left all faith in them to fix my car. The service was fast. They called me that Monday to let me know the complete extent of the damage after they took my car apart. About $5500 dollars worth. Thank you insurance! I got my car back the following Thursday and I was really impressed. The car looked brand new. They washed and vaccines out my car. Told me not to wash my car for the next month because of the new paint on the front. I had some concerns with the air and how it sounded but Casey met me the next morning to listen to it and make sure everything was fine and running the way it should. It was but just having him take the time to make sure it was and that I was happy with it was awesome. He even offered to take me to Toyota to let me listen to the air on a new car to make sure I would still hear the small minute noise I had heard. Amazing customer service and awesome job on the car. The other driver hit the front quarter panel of the vehicle. The insurance company worked with Caliber to make this a seamless repair. It been several months now since I took delivery of my truck. My 2016 Tundra was hit on 12/24/2018 and sustained major damage to the sum of 20,000 dollars. I thought for sure the truck was going to be totaled but AAA gave the orders to have it repaired. Greg also just returned my car to me yesterday and it looks like nothing even happened in the first place. My truck got hit by a motorcycle not long ago and saw Caliber collision was certified by farmers. I took the truck into get an estimate to provide to insurance. They gave me a quote for $4120 in which I provided to Farmers. Farmers stated that they needed pics and called Caliber to get the quote and pics. After done Caliber then said oh this is going through insurance? Then it's only $2100 approx which they then provided the quote to Farmers. In the end they are ripping customers off quoting double for customers that they thought were paying cash (apparently they thought I was when I said my insurance is farmers) with half price rates and way less labor hours. Biggest scam I've ever heard of. Soon as I get their quote from Farmers I'll post both for all customers to compare. I will never take a vehicle here. If you are that slimy then you sure as hell cant trust a shop like this. I'll now be taking truck else where to be repaired. F- read more

I really can't say enough good things about this place. My husband was rear ended and the insurance company referred us here to get an estimate. The whole process was as easy as it gets. I had to reschedule a few times and they were very accommodating every time. When I finally got in for an estimate, I expected to sit in a waiting area for an hour but, to my surprise, I got to walk out with Andy while he took a few pictures and was out of there in less than 15 minutes. He was very personable and friendly. I didn't have much experience with dealing with another person's insurance and when I asked if I would have to get it approved, he told me everything was automated and he would email me an estimate within 24 hours, then I could schedule repairs. As promised, I received the estimate less than 24 hours later via email and called in to schedule repairs. Dropping it off was just as easy. I did get a rental car and Nicole at their Enterprise was awesome as well. I was surprised to get a call the next day to let me know the car would be ready in a couple hours because it was being DETAILED! He also informed me the actual cost was less than the estimate. I don't know a lot of places that would charge less than the estimate when dealing with an insurance company. He walked me through the repairs and it looked perfect. My car was spotless and there was even a "thank you" note. All for a repair that cost less than $1000 at no cost to me (besides the rental insurance). Professional, friendly, and accommodating....
