Will not use them again. Cons It was over $100 for an oil change. Technicians pushing extra products for purchase that I didn't need. Technician didn't know the difference between gas and diesel on my f250. I only realized this cuz he tried to sell me diesel additives for my gas motor. Although I couldn't get in for a consultation...the parking lot was packed...I was able to scan a QR code on the door and do a virtual claims adjustment right in their parking lot! Fascinating part is the estinate was ready and waiting in my email within an hour! Meanwhile, GEICO, my insurance company (for now) is still trying to play catch-up although they were given the same pictures. Caliber is a franchise chain thstbis reputable but unfortunately GEICO doesn't do business with any branches in or around San Antonio... Sad, but true. I have used Caliber in the past and they were able to get my entire car painted vs just the damaged quarter panel, wit only a little out of pocket cost ANNND they were able to absorb my deductible. read more

I firmly believe that it's not about the problems that confront us, but rather how we solve the problems. I'm not going into all the details and the long road to get to the end in this review. Months ago I experienced the worst headache of my life. Days before Christmas, my neighbor managed to blindly back into my brand new 2019 Toyota Camry. Unfortunately my son got into a fender bender this month. Nothing serious but a young man hit his car and he was in a parking lot. I was upset but glad I was able to get the responsible party to pay. Shout out to Geico who was very accommodating and even contacted the at fault party. Anyways I digress. I decided to take my sons car to Caliber Collision. The reason is because last year my truck was rear ended on 151. I took it there and the quality of work and customer service was great. So I knew I'd get the same service. When I called they were very prompt at assisting me. Since the vehicle has been there they are giving me frequent updates on the parts and when they are beginning work and status. I really appreciate that considering the work that needed to be done and it gives me a time frame on when to expect the vehicle to be completed. While no one wants to have an accident and have to take there car for repairs Caliber Collision Express made it virtually pain free! I made the initial call to Caliber they asked a few breif questions, year, make, model, general damages, based on this information I was referred to their Express service and the set up a drop off appt at that time. I was given a website were I sent in photos of damages. The webpage was super simple and explained exactly what pictures and angles were needed. I sent it in, they get started on ordering your parts (which cuts down on wait time without a vehicle). I received and email reminder of my appointment and who my contact person (Crystal & Ashley C.)was and address with directions. This morning I arrived at my 815am appointment to drop off my vehicle. Crystal greeted us and knew exactly who we were, explained how things worked,went over damages, marked the vehicle for repairs, reminded us to remove all our valuables, asked how we wanted to receive updates on progress, verified numbers. Crystal then walked us over to the Enterprise rental car desk which is on site!!! She introduced us and told us she would contact us with updates and to call with any questions. The lady at the Enterprise rental desk verified our names, knew our insurance information and what they covered. Explained upgrades available and let us know which vehicle we quallified for. She offered upgrades that could be immediately brought over from accross the street. We signed paperwork. Total time from arrival to driving off in a rental 20 min!!! We received 3 updates from Crystal today with the 3rd one stating my vehicle was ready for pickup by 7pm! What the what?? That was incredibly quick. I notified her we would be cutting it close to make it by 7 she said someone would gladly wait for us. We arrived right at 7pm and Ashley C. was waiting with a smile on her face. Ashley didn't rush us, shetook time to show us there repairs, explained what parts were replaced and cost, explained total cost, what our deductible was and what our insurance covered. We checked the repairs on the car and noticed that they even washed my car, and vacuumed inside. BONUS!!! Ashley was very kind and made us feel comfortable. She was very patient although I am sure she was ready to get home too. She checked in the rental for us and that was that! While I hope to never need to have to repair my car due to damages from an accident again, I would most definitely come back here first thing. I also will refer anyone needing repairs to Caliber Collision. Thank you for your professionalism, kindness, and patience. It made this unfortunate event a bit easier to deal with. Service is good but staff needs improvement when it comes to updating customers on the status of the vehicle . Carwise is useles.

Its already stressful enough getting in an accident so have to say caliber collision made this experience so great. They were very nice and welcoming, very responsive to any questions i had or calls ive made for status. I have to say they went above and beyond when they handed my car to me. They clean even my engine which i know was really dirty and had nothing to do with the repairs. They made sure it was a fast process. I had a minor fender bender, which caused my bumper cover to completely detach from the jeep! After reading information on the web about cost for repair, I was convinced that I would be out of around $500.. I called made made an appointment for an estimate, and was scheduled to be there 30 mins later. The guy helping me was "Jim" This man was so nice, he looked at the damage, asked for my keys, and about 20 mins later he shows up to the front of the building.. My bumper back in tact... Took our truck here to get a small ding in the back bumper repaired. They make you sign a document stating that they aren't held liable for missing items in your car that aren't taken out. This document prompted me to ask if they have a theft problem to which they replied no, it's more for if they have to fix a part of your car that requires them to take items out in order to fix it and if those items get misplaced. So, since my back bumper was getting fixed I didn't feel the need to remove everything from my truck. When we got the truck back my husbands new Smith & Wesson $40 pocket knife was missing from the console. Not good. Called the store manager and he didn't even offer an apology or to look into the matter. Instead he alluded to the fact that we should have taken our belongings out and said that an incident like that has never happened before. What I would have liked to hear was: "I can see why you would be so upset. I'm sorry this happened. Let me look into the matter for you. What can we do to make you whole again?" But I guess not everyone has that management style? I would not recommend this place. There's an integrity issue here and the manager is no help. read more

I had my bumper stolen off my truck. I scheduled an appointment in advance and they said it would take 2 days since they could preorder everything. I dropped off on Wednesday and was told it would be ready Thursday or Friday. Friday came and went and it wasn't ready. I was told they ordered the wrong bumper (chrome) even though i provided the pics of the correct bumper (painted). I was told it would be ready Saturday. Saturday i was told they were missing some bolts. I had to cancel weekend plans that required the truck. I originally declined the rental truck since it would be ready by the weekend!! On Saturday they could not find a rental truck to tow my boat. Monday it was that they didn't order sensors, then something about callibrating sensors....etc. I finally got it back Thursday. Picked this location due to all of the positive reviews. Very glad I did. My husband dropped off the vehicle without issue, was told repairs would take 15 days. They called often to give updates and had the vehicle repairs done sooner than planned. I picked up the vehicle on a Friday, very easy and quick. On Saturday I noticed one of the fog lights replaced was loose so I emailed the shop. Before 9 am on Monday I got a call from Jesse, our service tech,, he offered to come get the vehicle from my office and bring it back the same day. I was beyond surprised but honestly loved the customer service because the last thing I had time for was to go drop it off again. I was a little frustrated it took a bit longer to bring back than expected but that happened because they were bringing the vehicle back and noticed an item that was not fully repaired 100% and wanted to take care of it. They could have brought it back and it would have been a while till I noticed, but they took the initiative to take care of it then. Words can not express how impressed I was with this shop! Will use in the future if needed, hopefully not. And will recommend to others. Been with USAA for 12 years and they recommend them, will relay how great it was so dedicated USAA members can have a great experience too. read more
