A dealership had left a sticker on my car more than two years ago, and despite my many unsuccessful attempts to remove it, Jason graciously took care of it for me. First of all, I want to say Caliber Collision did an excellent job on the body work on my car. The right passenger door had been heavily damaged and it's good as new now. They did take a little longer to do the repair than I was initially led to believe but I understand these things can happen. My only real complaint would be the customer service aspect. The man who inspected and wrote up the quote on the car was rude and unprofessional. Not knowing the process of repairing the car, I made a comment about how I thought they would simply swap out the damaged car door. He immediately got an attitude, stating that I didn't know what I was talking about. He was tired of hearing people who assumed they understood the process of body work repair and that HE was the expert, not them. He also said, "would you assume to tell a brain surgeon how to do his job?" Seriously? He was comparing himself to a brain surgeon? In my business I am often meeting customers who do not understand the process and make incorrect assumptions. I don't take it personal, and I politely explain the correct process to them. It doesn't hurt my ego in any way. Again Caliber did a fine job on the body work, but the rude employee there needs to learn how to leave his pathetically weak ego at the door when he checks in for work. read more

I visited the Tigard location on 6/1/26 at 11:00am and requested for someone to take a look at my car and give an estimate for a bent front right hand fender. I was asked by the older of the two receptionists if I had an appointment. When I replied that I did not, I was told to sit down in the waiting area. During the next 30 minutes, no one communicated with me to let me know when someone would come to see me or how long I would have to wait. At 11:30am, I said "Goodbye" to the receptionists and the only reply I received was "Goodbye". No attempt at any further communication was made. At the beginning of May my car was involved in an accident. I dropped it off at Caliber for repairs. From the moment I dropped off my vehicle the staff was friendly and communicative. They made me aware of next steps, when there was a delay, and once my car was available for pickup. At time of drop off they offered to schedule a rental for me through enterprise. At the time I didn't need a rental vehicle and they provided a courtesy Lyft back to my house. At time of pickup they walk you through what was done and even orchestrate the return of the rental vehicle. The staff was always nice and engaging, the repair work was well done, and this whole process made it as stressless as possible. I am not well versed in working with auto body shops but this shop is amazing compared to all the other ones I've dealt with! I know there is sadly an uptick in car accidents and needs for shops and there are not enough parts and people, so I am so grateful for their kindness and efficiency in getting my mom's car in for an estimate. They update you on your car via text (or preferred email) every two days. And just run a well oiled machine here. The office managers and front desk staff is beyond friendly and wonderful. If I could give zero stars I would! Had my car for a month, constantly saying "parts delays". Changed the pickup date multiple times late the day before, with no way to check as to why. Left the interior if the car absolutely nasty, with greasy hand prints in area they did t work in. (near the sunroof, back seat, rear inside hatch area) they replaced the front and rear numbers, so no reason to be in the other areas. Overall, they get a D in my book, don't use them, don't let them repair you car. The insurance companies say they are a "Gold certified repair shop"....not even close! read more

When I called a week and a half later for an update, I was told the vehicle was repaired; they didn't use replacement parts as requested. I had to call for updates, they never contacted me. I have had the unfortunate experience of having to get my car's body repaired more than once in the last 12 months. Once because someone hit my car in a parking lot and left (thanks totally awful human move but KARMA.) And this time because I was SO stressed out and I hit someone's car in the parking lot. So we both had to get our vehicles fixed. I went with Caliber based on it being close by and GEICO approved. Well it will be the only time I use it and I definitely won't recommend it. Let me start with the positive that gives the 2 stars. Ben, who was very friendly and helped me out when Enterprise miscommunicated I felt really positive about Caliber after Ben. Also, the scheduling and confirmation when I had to deal with their office were incredibly nice, professional and good. The other shop I have used twice prior is terrible at communicating and for that I gave them a 3 star review but the work was 5 star. Caliber has about a 2 for me since communication and general attitude of Josh was poor. Which is unfortunate since the guy Ben, who I met when I checked in, was incredibly nice and actually helped me out when Enterprise screwed up. I asked if he would be the one communicated with me and he said likely not. Well that was unfortunate because I felt like Josh did not do his job. I asked multiple times for updates and waited and then each time when I was about to call (they text update,) he replied. I was finally at the end of my rope because I was promised my car 9/7, which is still two days from now and at 7:36 am on 9/3 I got a text asking if I could pick the car up that day. Now we had plans to go to The Gorge to see DMB and needed to leave by 12 to drop off our kids and dog and I asked at 7:40 am if it could be ready by 10. Then at 8:33am I asked again. At 9:25, when I already had given up on hearing back, he text that I could pick it up at 10. For me, I didn't have time to adjust my plans after 2 hours of waiting to hear back so I didn't reply as I had already decided we didn't have time to fit shuffling the rental car around, inspecting my car, etc into my schedule. So that was that. I went on Tuesday morning, first thing, to get my car, as I have a super busy day with my kids going back to school tomorrow. The office, once again, was very friendly and they made sure to ask the Enterprise guy to check my rental back in while he was there. I was really disappointed to see that the car hadn't been cleaned, just the area that was repaired. It also smells SO bad on the interior I've been driving with the windows down. It has a strong chemical stink. I now have to get the car ozone treated because I'm so sensitive to smells. Nothing like getting your car back and it reeks of something awful. That was always a nice touch from the shop I had been to twice prior (and will go back to,) because then you can see the entire car looking new and nice. When they wiped it off, since it had dirt or diet or whatever from sitting outside, it gave a surface scratch so I had to go back and let him know that the rear quarter panel had scratches. They did buff it out on site but in my opinion, details matter. Especially when showing the quality of workmanship. I was just handed my keys and final bill and thanks. I had to ask if I needed to keep the car out of the car wash, to allow the paint to cure, and if there was a warranty. Totally poor service from the tech who checked me out, since he just seemed busy and had his mind elsewhere. All in all, I definitely do not recommend Caliber. I am glad to have my car back. I believe there are additional scratches on the car but unfortunately I didn't notice until I got home. I received a response on my review to contact their customer care and have had NO response. Clearly they have no interest in customer satisfaction. I'm super disappointed and will be letting GEICO know but I will never use this repair shop again. read more

I wish I had gotten a before and after photo but Teddy did a remarkable job! Someone had hit my car in the front a few months back and left a crack, a deep scratch and bending my license plate. Jason took on overseeing that my car would be done in a timely manner. It was estimated a few weeks but Teddy got it done in one. They were very good about keeping in contact through messaging regarding updates about my car. When I went to pick it up, it was like my car looked brand spanking new. My experience is with the Tigard shop. ​​​I appreciated the front desk person as you enter the front door. She was kind (the accident had only happened 30 minutes prior) and arranged for my car to come in for the estimate & get started on the repair at the same time. That saved me an additional 3 week wait to start repairs vs if we'd only done the estimate at that appt. I also appreciated that one of their estimators was willing to take a quick look and see if they spotted anything I didn't, that would've made it risky to drive the car until then. Isabella kept me well informed of the status and the car was finished a day early. When it was done, checkout was quick, the repair looked great (as much as I could see at dusk - will update if that changes). I had been concerned about matching the paint on the new parts to the old, since it's a white pearl color with a shimmer in the paint. Last, but not least, the car was sparkling clean and had clearly been basically fully detailed and it smelled great! Will never go back. Brought our truck in for rear end damage and when we went to pick it up someone there smashed into the front bumper and put 2 dents and a gash in it. They claim it was there already. They took pictures of the bumper and sent them into State Farm on the 7th. We dropped our truck off on the 3rd. These dents were done between the 3rd and the 7th. Our truck is only 3 yrs old. You would think that if there was damage done to the bumper, which would cost more, we would have had that fixed at the same time. State farm is denying the damage. Their parking lot is jammed with cars all over. My husband had to park in the middle of the driveway as there was no other place to park. Our quote from them was $3200 before we decided to file a claim. State Farm paid $1500. Big difference in the quote for us verses what they are charging the insurance company. Being told they were very busy and that I would have to schedule to even have an estimate done and that it would be at least a month before i could schedule an estimate. Martin is the man.. Our minivan fender and bumper looks perfect. We initially had some difficulty with the receptionist who handled our claim. It seems she mistook my wife and I for grifters looking to rebuild our entire car after a fender bender. So don't let the lack of reviews deter you from getting your car repaired here. This very reputable body shop was previously part of the Abra company and had plenty of glowing reviews. Due to the recent name change, unfortunately those reviews aren't available. I've had 2 BMWs repaired here and both times I've experienced excellent service, communication, HONESTY and professionalism. It says a great deal when I choose to return to a service provider because it means they impressed me and I trust them. I must give a particular shout out to Andrew Gonzalez who did a first rate job of shepherding the process both times from beginning to end. He even delivered my car the first time around on a workday when I couldn't get away to pick it up. Also let me be clear that these were not small door ding jobs . Both repairs were for thousands of dollars and required coordination with the BMW dealership for calibration and other expert contractors. In short, I give these guys my highest recommendation.
