I have used Calico for years. Their workmanship is excellent as is their fabric selection. I have used other resources and find workshop times are about the same. I have been fortunate enough that when deciding to redecorate Im not submitting myself to a timed schedule which makes the experience far more rewarding when completed. read more

Ordered five (5) 9 ft. panels for my windows and slider back in mid-November, expecting them to be done/installed before our array of visitors came in February. Per Colleen, it would take about 10 weeks, which was not great but acceptable. We are now at week 14 (end of Feb.), and not a word. No customer service. I have inquired twice. Got a 14 week response in early January, but no follow-up. Emailed this week, and "crickets". Now I have to call. Very disappointing for what I thought was a reputable company that provided high quality window treatments and upscale customer service. You wonder why brick and mortar stores go out of business and this one deserves to. I guess once they have your money (100% pre-payment for special orders), they don't care anymore. read more

Was given a quote on phone an approximate price for recovering 2 arms of reclining chair. Brought in arms and actual price was over double what I was told. Way too expensive and not reasonable. Timeframe was also far too long - over 2 months to finish. So I cannot recommend. read more

WASTED TIME!! The Manager Connie .. unprofessional and disappointing!! I'm still waiting for her call back regarding replacing or fixing the inside of our sofa cushions!! It's been about 2 + months now. She was checking to see about the cost of fixing the inside or replacing the cushions and she was suppose to follow up the next day. Very unprofessional! I shouldn't have to chase for the information when she promised a call back the next day to let me know. I would never refer or go back there. read more

I had a wonderful Thomasville couch that I wanted to recover so I engaged Calico Corners to help. They were not very helpful when advising what fabric to use. This is a difficult task when you have never made these decisions before. The first fabric chosen ended up being discontinued after I paid for it. I had a very difficult time choosing the fabric the first time and having to do it again was difficult and I had little to no input from the "professionals" at Calico Corners. I chose a light beige linen type fabric. When the couch was finished and they delivered it I realized the fabric was a mistake it is like sitting on a burlap sack, not comfortable at all. I was accepting of this and realized this was my mistake. After several months the fabric has started to pill, little bits ball up along the edges making it look worn and dingy. I called the store to ask if this was normal and she said yes it is normal for any fabric to pill. I should us a fabric shaver on it. I have never had to use a fabric shaver on my furniture before. Apparently it was not the appropriate fabric to recover a couch in. I paid roughly 2K to cover my couch in very uncomfortable, pilling fabric. I wish I had bought a new couch. read more
