I didn't agree, so I retained my car,and took it to Titan. Not only was it restored, it was done in a week, and looks great! The first time I brought my car in to fix an engine light issue with my oxygen sensor on my Honda accord, he helped recommend a better brand and was honest and helpful. I now have brought my CX5 to him multiple times already for his expert opinion on different issues and for regular maintenance. He's always very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and willing to share his knowledge and expertise. Recently, I brought in a long list of items to be fixed from the dealership, and he was honest in what he thought needed to be done more urgently vs not, and his prices were also much more reasonable. He was kind enough to help me as well with replacing my car battery and windshield wipers. It was a smooth booking process online, I was able to schedule a 11:30am appointment. Location was easy to find in downtown and has enough parking space. Went into the office to check in around 11:23am. However found out the technician that does smog went out to lunch and will be back in an hour. So I will have to wait and come back. I was not expecting that and was slightly annoyed since I made the appointment time for 11:30am and expected to be done in 30 minutes and get back to work. If there was an appointment time available and someone booked it, I would expect a business to honor the customer's time and continue with the business before going on lunch. If an employee is to go to lunch, then do not make that time available for booking. So I gave the business the benefit of the doubt and just went with it...I just dropped the car off and walked to a near by area for lunch and wait for an hour and half. Overall, my smog check was done a little before 1pm with under 8 minutes to spare. It was done at the time they promised..and the person in the office was nice. All in all..I'm okay with the visit..probably will come back but probably will not book an appointment at 11:30am again, maybe earlier or later. But do check it out for your smog test..

This shop was absolutely amazing, professional and did an incredible job fixing my vehicle. I have never been in an accident in my life and I was hit 3 days after purchasing my first new car. As you can imagine, I felt overwhelmed and had little knowledge of the process with my insurance. Jose Murillo answered all my questions and reassured me that he would help me with the entire process and he did just that. His entire staff is reliable, professional and welcoming. I dropped my car off on a Tuesday and Jose called me the very next day and said that my car was ready! They were quick and did a fantastic job. My husband had been seen at another body shop for damages to his truck 2 weeks before my incident and that location still has not fixed the truck. I referred my husband to Jose M. and he has already booked an appointment to help out with the truck. My car was hit and the insurance company gave me the closest auto shop which was California Auto body. The got me a in for an estimate and then got me scheduled for the repair. They told me my car would be ready in 5 days it took 5 days. They made the entire process so less stressful. They communicated everything so that I could understand and they made me feel like my car was in great hands. My car looks amazing and they even went above and beyond for me. All my damaged was on the right side so a headlight had to be replaced. Jose saw that one headlight was new and the other had a foggy tint to it as it was not new. He offered to clean it up and buff it out. After a quick few minutes he had the left side looking brand new. The entire shop is friendly and I felt like my needs were met above and beyond. I brought my mother-in-law vehicle in today to have her passenger side mirror replaced. When dropping the vehicle off Jose assisted my mother-in-law which he was very professional and polite he explained the process of the repair and whom will be giving us a call when the vehicle is finished. The repair only took 2 hours which we were informed the time frame of when the vehicle would be ready. When we showed up to pick the car up it was already ready before the time frame we were told. Their quality of work was excellent and currently having no issue with the new passenger side mirror. I would recommend this body shop to anyone for fixtures on their vehicle. I came in looking to get some damage to my rear fender fixed and Veronica and Jose were very professional in helping me through my claim process. After receiving my truck, I noticed how clean the outside was and even the inside was vacuumed and cleaned. The one thing that stood out to me was that I had had a few scratches on my clear coat from some tree branches and I noticed right away that they were all buffed out, even on the side without any damage. The original damage appeared to not exist which was the goal but I felt like the shop went out and above to make sure my truck was better than I expected it to be. I am a pretty safe driver that got hit unfortunately but I'm glad I choose California Auto Body to get my truck fixed. read more

Do business with many places but difficult to find one that supplies such a high level of complete dedication to high quality service. The office is clean with a welcoming staff and auto body work is excellent. recently had occasion to return after having had my Toyota's fender repaired because I had " dinged" backing out of the garage. With a cheerful smile some touch up paint was secured from the back and used to fix the places. Then I was shown how to used the touch up paint and given the remainder. I took out my credit card and was told no charge for we take care of our customers. I may be their customer but they are a my choice for taking care of my body fender needs. read more

This is never an easy process, but his communication with us and ensuring the deadline of having the car back was met was very appreciated. Ca Auto Body Collision I was directed to Ca Collision by AAA my insurance company. Ca Collision was able to assess the damages for AAA and provide a reasonable time-frame for the repair. While rushing to park her car in our garage, my wife accidently clipped the garage door trimming…read more From upstairs I heard the minor collision and rushed to the garage (I'm so dramatic) to ensure that my wife was ok (also to ensure that my car was unscathed - just being honest!). The wood trimming of the garage had a minor chip; however, the headlight and bumper on the right side of my wife's car was severely damaged. After filing a claim with our insurance company, they provided us a list of three collision shops that could do the repairs. Of those three, we selected Kniesel's because of their near-perfect and plentiful Yelp reviews. Upon arriving on a Wednesday morning to drop off the car, we were greeted by a friendly employee named Ryan. Ryan did a quick inspection of the damage, provided a quote, and we agreed to leave the car to have the repairs done. Although we expected to be without the car for at least a week and a half, we were shocked when Ryan called my wife the following Wednesday afternoon to inform her that the work had been completed. Since we had an insurance-covered rental car from Enterprise, I accompanied my wife so that we could pick up her car and drop off the rental car. Instead of us having to drop the car off at the Enterprise Rental Car in Elk Grove (where we initially picked it up from), the Kniesel employee (unfortunately I did not obtain his name) who released my wife's car to us, called the nearby Enterprise (located in midtown) and arranged for an employee to pick up the rental car from Kniesel! We greatly appreciated this because it made our day easier by eliminating an extra task. Upon observation of my wife's newly replaced bumper and right headlight, we confirmed that the work was done well. The bumper's paint matched the rest of the car and the new bumper and headlight were flush with the rest of the car (no Tesla-like imperfections). Thank you Kniesels for not only a job well done on my wife's car, but for the overall superb customer service experience!

It's important to note that even as I brought in things to complete he project, they didn't charge me extra as they considered it part of the project. Also when they accidentally damaged a piece, they stepped up and were completely honest about it. I should have posted a year ago (first car in), but been slacking off. I will have a third car in for Mike and his team to work on again. Impressive quality work is done here and nothing below that. Paint matching is spot on and the they will go further as to repainting it multiple times to match the color right for you. I had a Porsche 996 in recently that needed a body kit installed. Instead of attaching the side skirts/rockers on, Mike insisted on molding it in. Mind blown with how it turned out and it looks like it came from factory OEM! The customer service is awesome and they will very personable people that will keep you updated throughout the progress. There are no shortcuts taken here! I have not and don't plan on switching to any other auto body for a long time. There are many choices out there when looking for custom work, but when you see what Mike is working on as his hobby (ask for a tour of his classics), you know you found the right place for your investments.

The first time I brought my car in to fix an engine light issue with my oxygen sensor on my Honda accord, he helped recommend a better brand and was honest and helpful. I now have brought my CX5 to him multiple times already for his expert opinion on different issues and for regular maintenance. He's always very responsive, easy to get a hold of, and willing to share his knowledge and expertise. Recently, I brought in a long list of items to be fixed from the dealership, and he was honest in what he thought needed to be done more urgently vs not, and his prices were also much more reasonable. He was kind enough to help me as well with replacing my car battery and windshield wipers.
