Someone came over to take a look at the size and rooms to give us an estimate. The pricing was right where we wanted to be so we went with them. All communication was done through text messaging which was kind of weird. My partner isn't the best at checking his messages so it wasn't ideal for him. The day before they were coming over, they asked how we'd like to pay, Venmo or check. But they didn't say how much and we never got the estimate in writing. We should not have paid upfront either because the work was terrible. On the day of the cleaning, they showed up 15 minutes early and just let themselves in. We had never told them the house would be unlocked. It was unlocked by mistake. We were a little thrown off that they just came in and didn't let us know they were early. When they were done, we walked through to take a look, and oh my goodness... so much was missed and we had to do a lot of additional cleaning. The backsplash behind the oven was completely missed. They pulled out ALL the liners in the drawers and cupboards. Ummm we wanted to leave those. Our landlord was not thrilled they had been pulled out. There were still scuffs on the walls and doors that just needed a quick rub to get off. It just was not a thorough clean. We could've hired a neighborhood kid or heck, even a friend for less and had a better job done. Super disappointed. We won't be using Luz again and will not be recommending them.

He was even fine with me finishing up wiping down a few shelves outside (I stayed out of his way). We had a dog and a cat in the unit, so there were some darker areas where they tended to lay that didn't have rugs over the carpet, so we didn't notice they got dark over the years till we moved.
