One of my favorite things about her is that she sends a very detailed report at the end of each overnight stay which helps us know exactly what has happened while we were away from our pups. (Also somehow there is one of the roof) Bear was a naughty boy constantly eating fresh poop but definitely making me get my cardio in to stop him. My Chinese Crested, Hooper, had previous training but was still struggling with reactivity and socialization. I appreciated that Farren didn't push an expensive board and train--she assessed Hooper personally and offered private sessions that fit my budget. After just one session, I already saw progress. Over five sessions, both Hooper and I were trained--because we all know training the human is just as important! A month later, I adopted another dog, Bodie, and brought both pups to Farren's daycare to continue Hooper's socialization. We also did additional public training sessions, which were incredibly helpful. Hooper is now more confident and manageable! Our Golden Retriever puppy, Maple, was out of control with biting, destroying everything from her blankets, her toys, our backyard landscape, and even the walls and base molding around the house. We tried to take her on walks but she would pull us around the neighborhood, and every little distraction scared her to death. We've owned four other Goldens in the past and never experienced this kind of wild behavior. Then came Ryan... he assured us that this behavior could be corrected with the right leadership, so we signed up for his two-week boot camp experience. The two weeks seemed like forever but when he brought her home she was our same familiar Maple but oh what a difference in her demeanor and behavior. Then Ryan followed up with us a week later and he reviewed with us all of our challenges that we were still experiencing. We quickly realized the problem wasn't Maple, it was us. Lots of little details like how to properly sync the electronic collar with the clicker, and keeping our finger on the clicker button so that we could engage it in a timely manner, etc. Once we got the hands-on training that we needed, Maple has transformed into a sweet, calm and well-behaved Golden Retriever. Thanks Ryan for your expertise and your expert training techniques. My dog is my baby, he has been for 15+ years, and I wanted a gentle hand, not a smack across the face. She doesn't raise her voice or stare them down to assert dominance.
