They have little to no activities and some they do have are super inappropriate like boxing bc the activities director wanted to hire her son. The food is beyond terrible. Things get stolen left and right. Nothing they tell you when you go look at the place I is true. They refuse to give a second key to family members even with power of attorney. They aids just sit their talking Spanish to each other and talking about the patient. (They didn't know I understood) instead of caring for patient. The aids then complain if your loved one pushed their call button to much and they share a lot of their complaints with your lived ones which gives them anxiety: even when asked not too they still made a 100 year old women severely anxious about everything all the time. Stay far far far away from this place.

And luckily she chose Heritage Pointe. What a great place! The caregivers are so kind and knowledgeable and hard working. The management is committed to exceptional care. On move in, the staff arranged and rearranged, hung, moved, catered. They painted the apartment to the color of her choice. There is weekly sparkling housekeeping and one day laundry service. There are all levels of care from independent living to memory care. She needed help with showering and dressing. But in addition, someone would always pop by to check on her in the morning, make up her bed and set a small breakfast. And they checked on her all day. Always going the extra. There is plenty to do. There is a pool, a movie theatre, a workout room with personal trainers , an on-site physical therapist, a library, classes, lectures, guest speakers and performers, happy hour, a piano lounge, a hair salon, transportation to all of the local shops and conveniences and a coordinator to arrange a driver for doctor appointments. There are three meals in a lovely dining room. The staff and the residents are very friendly and make sure that a new arrival is introduced to and assimilated into the community and she made what became close friends In a medical emergency, Provident Mission Hospital which is a Level2 trauma center is only one mile away. In addition, Heritage Pointe offers accelerated care in their Sage Unit. We, her family, are so grateful for the loving, expert care she received in their beautiful surroundings

They set up the decorations and hosted a special dinner for her with several lady friends that live there. They even made margaritas for the group. If anyone has any interest or questions please feel free to pm me. The place is called Morningstar Senior Living and it's right by the Mission Viejo Mall. I could go on for days about all the activities they do. To me what truly makes the place extraordinary is how kind and loving they are to my mom. They genuinely love her. If anyone is looking for a senior living/ assisted living/ memory care place, I highly encourage you to go on a tour. My mom truly couldn't be happier.

They have six homes in a…read morenice neighborhood in Mission Viejo that are beautifully redone and well run by these two partners. Ryan and Scott are friendly, helpful and are good listeners. If there is an issue, they work on resolving it quickly. It is easy to get in touch with them by text or phone. I really appreciate that they work hard to keep each home running smoothly. Their website gives great descriptions of what their philosophy is and what these homes offer for seniors in need of a pleasant home environment.

With several falls, injuries and a hospitalization, in addition to refusing to call 911, we immediately moved to a more supportive and caring home. Harbor uses word manipulation in their advertising to attract business, however do not offer what they state. It just did not feel like a "care" home. Unfortunately I would not recommend this facility for your loved ones needing sincere care and support. Thank you for the response. The fact that you used the verbiage "constant", in your reply, describes exactly the sentiment of Harbor, that we/she was a bother. It was never about the money, as we offered to pay more for better care and it was declined. All we wanted was a safe and caring place for my Mom and unfortunately the standard at Harbor was not that. The pictures I posted tell only 60% of what she endured, and "context " enough to express our experience; not to mention twice her laying on the floor for hours because staff was not able to lift her (or call for help) until my brother or I arrived. This is not personal, I understand you have a business to run, however the care level at Harbor left us with a lot to be desired. Mark and his remarkable family run this operation and treat each resident as a member of their own. The home was very nice, clean, peaceful, and the care givers were absolutely amazing. We are forever grateful to them for giving our father the best quality of life. From the moment our father went to Arbor View until the night he passed he was provided the utmost professional and personal care. Each day we visited we asked dad if he liked where he was, and every time he said yes, he was very comfortable and relaxed. They called me right away and communicated what was happening in a calm, professional, and kind manner which helped my panic calm down. When I arrived, the ER waiting room was overly packed. People were along the hallway with IV bags getting treated because the rooms/beds were full. Even with a packed ER and other patients yelling and being nasty to the medical staff, the staff all kept their cool and did their jobs in a kind yet professional manner. They gave us top of the line quality care. I watched them sew up my partner's face, wrap his broken bones, and give him tests. All were done with professionalism and care. The doctor attending to him was very communicative and explained everything thoroughly. The nurses were telling us stories and made sure my partner had everything he needed. They also have a parking garage which is helpful. It's a bit of a walk but they have someone with a golf cart giving people rides to and from the parking. Thank you all again!! Parking was a flat rate even though construction is a bit chaotic. I want to thank each and every person who helped me during my stint here. Barbara you are an angel! Praying over me with my mom when i needed it the most was just magic. Having a panic attack and nervous in preop was something unexpected. After you came into my room and just chit chatted with my mom and I , everything lifted. The warmth and energy that radiated throughout me is something I cant describe here , it meant alot. After care here was top notch, from start to finish. 5/5
