This is going to be a long review. First of all, I called the Menifee office asking for a LASIK consultation. Instead of telling me to call their Temecula office, since all LASIK consultations are done there, they put me on hold and called themselves, which I thought was excellent customer service. They were able to get me a next day appointment. Once I arrived, I was warmly greeted by two front desk employees. I wish I remembered their names, they were extremely friendly. I did have, what I would consider, a longer than average wait time before being called back by Selina, who helped with the testing and imaging of my eyes. Selina was very friendly and funny and she made me feel comfortable. I had to do some more waiting in another room before I could see Dr. Burns. The waiting room was quite full. Dr. Burns was patient with me during all of my questions and did a fantastic job explaining the procedure to me, and making sure I understood everything. He had another employee in the room, I think his name was Jay, but I believe Jay was taking notes for my medical record. The most important thing to me is that I did not feel rushed. I can't even explain how much it meant that Dr. Burns sat down across from me and just spoke to me, looking me in the eyes, and he took as much time as I needed to discuss the procedure. For someone who has performed over 20,000 eye surgeries, I did not expect that. I'm assuming he does that with all of his patients, and to me, that makes it worth the time in the waiting room. After speaking with Dr. Burns, I decided that I will go through with LASIK. I then spoke with Brenda about financing options. Brenda was also extremely nice and fun. She told me about her experience with LASIK and was genuinely excited for me. I was able to schedule the LASIK surgery just over a week out, so I did my pre-op the same day. During the pre-op I told Selina about some concerns I had regarding blurred vision while on the computer. I work on the computer for many hours a day. She not only explained how that can be due to dry/strained eyes and not blinking frequently enough, she mentioned it to Dr. Burns who went over it with me in greater detail, and I left with samples of eye drops to help combat dry eyes. I am extremely happy with my care so far and I am beyond excited for my appointment next week. For something like eye surgery, I want to feel comfortable with the team that is taking care of me, and I really do. read more

I have gone to many eye doctors in my life, but California Eye Pros is absolutely the best. I have been a patient for many years now. Dr. Wilson diagnosed fast growing cataracts in both my eyes 2 years ago at the Hemet office. The Hemet office referred me to the Temecula office where I met Dr. Burns. He is a phenomenal surgeon and a great guy! He replaced the lenses via laser in both my eyes and give me my vision back. I go to the Temecula office now for my checkups with Dr. Wilson and Dr. Burns. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have been there when it's crowded and the staff and service are the best. They are a busy office because they are so good at what they do. So for all the people that are complaining about the wait, don't be impatient if you want the best! There are two meanings to the word patient and you can all do a better job of being patient for the doctors because they are giving their best service to another patient that has waited patiently. When you are seen, you will get that excellent service too. So just shut up, and read your IPad while you wait to get your eyes taken care of by some of the best teams in Southern California. read more

This eye clinic is located cross the street from Costco and Temecula spectrum mall. They have a big parking area so that you can get in and out of the clinic building easily. Two weeks ago I had eye exam at this clinic. Reception and waiting area is not so big but well organized and the people who work at the desk were professional and pleasant. As many people are waiting, my waiting time was only 7 minutes and I was pleased. In the examination room, the eye examination technician was professional, quick and pleasant. At last, one of the eye doctors (optometrist) came into the exam room with a smile. He was young and very friendly. He was professional and he answered all my questions and explained very well about my eye condition. The whole time I was there was 45 minutes and I was impressed and pleased. This is the first time I went to eye doctor after I moved to Temecula and felt I am connected with an eye care clinic near by. read more

Everyone in the office was great! I would recommend this office for routine eye exams or surgical procedures. The physicians, office staff and technical/clinical team is super and deserve cudos for their professionalism, expertise and customer service. Visited Cal Eye Pros while on vacation (eyes were itchy and needed good drops). Was hesitant because other Yelp reviews said wait times were long, but had a great experience. I was seen within 15 minutes of arriving. Front desk staff was pleasant and helped me complete a bit of paperwork. The tech was thorough in taking my eye history and the doctor (Dr. Lisa Wilson) came in soon after the tech was done. I got my eye drops during the exam and a prescription for additional drops to use during the week--which saved me in the dry weather. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone. read more

I was treated promptly and with kindness. The tech and doctor who saw me answered all my questions and they were very courteous!! I was in and out of the office in less than an hour. When picking out my frames the lady who helped me was so helpful in getting just the right shape and color for me! When picking up my glasses there was no problems at all and adjustments were made on the spot. Very professional office and staff. Dr Burns is my fathers cataract surgeon and he's one of the best in California. He took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me and my dad and did not try to rush the surgery. I appreciate his professionalism and all of his hard work. His technician named Nate was very professional and helpful with getting my father in ASAP he was very kind and went above and beyond the call of duty to make sure we were satisfied. I have been coming here for several years to get my glasses and contact lens prescriptions. I have always had the best service from the time I walk in to the time I leave. I have never had any issues with the prescription the doctor has given me. I have been wanting Lasik surgery and this past April I decided to finally take that plunge. I came here for an eye exam and the doctor was very nice and very knowledgeable. I had an issue with my retina (sp?) a few years ago and the doctor took a look and explained to me what happened and that everything still looked good. It was really a relief! I also thought that the staff here was fairly professional and I really appreciated the fact that they understood my insurance benefit (I have no clue about eye insurances). I recently went back to this office to get a new pair of glasses. Yes the office is busy, but I was seen within 15 min. of my appointment time--even though I was actually over 5 min. late to arrive. The doctors were nice and the staff was courteous and professional. The glasses selection was also pretty good. (They carry Persol frames, which are not easy to find, but always earn me compliments when I wear them.) read more

Saw some female doctor who was great but when I went to pick up my already paid for glasses I waited over an hour. They helped people that came in after me first. Those people came and went while I still had to wait . this was so frustrating and unproffesional. I have been to other eye doctors in the past but this was the first time I felt the doctor was competent enough to answer my questions.
