This place is awful! One of the reasons is they don't even have parking for customers! The place inside is ugly and nasty! Also the employees are not reliable. Ray, the owner, and his team installed Milgard replacements for 16 windows and installed 3 new Milgard sliders in our home. The Milgard line, as of this writing, comes with a lifetime parts and labor warranty, transferable one time if you sell the house. Everyone was courteous, neat and did an excellent job installing the replacements. They carefully removed all the window shades and the very delicate slider door shades. Because our slider door cutouts were an odd size (35 year old windows), Ray took a lot of extra time to insulate the small gap, and trim the doors out. Then the team reinstalled all the shades. Ray and one of his team followed up the next week to thoroughly check all the trim, caulking, hardware and to make some adjustments. Ray even went so far as to contact a window covering installer, because the new door handles stick out a little more and the shades need to extend further from the wall (I don't think that's something you should expect from the glass installer, but Ray went out of his way to help). And he also completed the warranty registration when the windows were ordered. To top it off, Ray's pricing for the SAME windows and installation beat Home Depot's by A SUBSTANTIAL AMOUNT. We highly recommend CA Glass Company, Lodi for your window and glass needs. NOTE: if you have an alarm system, call your monitoring company in advance to discuss options for reinstalling any in-the-frame sensors, so as not to void the window warranty. read more

We called them because we were traveling in our Rv and one of the closet doors had an issue with the glass slipping in the frame causing it not to close. We were at a local Rv resort and the person on the phone said she had some guys close by that could swing by in a few minutes and sure enough with in 15 minutes 3 young men stopped by looked at our problem removed the door and had it fixed in less then 10 minutes. The job was assured that it would be done in a reasonable time frame. It took more than even what was promised after a bunch of excuses of why I was still waiting on windows. All I got was rushed unprofessional work and a lot of blaming everyone but the business. After more than several month waiting. I called to get them out to finish up and no response. Now probably after this review... I can bet all I might get is another excuse. I will do it. It's not the point that it's something small to come out for that I could have done but that I was told it would be taken care of. There is more that I can say but I am just done with it. I DO NOT recommend this place. Hired them for a shower glass install as they were local. I called them post install to fix some issues: the height of the shower glass being too low, a chip in the glass, and incorrect glass being stalled (ordered 3/8", they installed 1/4" instead). They are very responsive when it comes to getting business but once you call them to fix an install, they go silent - not returning calls despite countless messages and follow-up phone calls. I can't understand how this place has bad reviews. We went to Tokay glass because they had more reviews than this place. But omg TOKAY GLASS treated us like dog s*!t. I wouldn't go to that place if they were handing out free mirrors. My husband called California glass and they answered all his questions and even finished our mirror in a few hours!!!!! Calif. Glass came and took a precise measurement for shower glass in our remodeled bathroom. The order was completed in two weeks which I thought was very fast for a custom made product. Installation was great and they took time to not rush which I felt was a good trait. The staff from the receptionist to the installers was very professional and very helpful especially when they initially came to our home and had a few suggestions. The shower is beautiful to say the least. We are now having them replace the rollers on our sliding glass patio door. They came, took it apart to see the type of rollers needed and, the next morning I had a quote for repair. It was very reasonable. Was quoted a week for a custom glass job, so we paid the bill upfront. A week goes by, the broken piece we left with them t recreated hadn't even been MEASURED yet. Were told another week and that someone would give us a call. Another week goes by, no phone call, not glass nothing. Repeatedly lied to and not even the courtesy of a phone call to explain. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We went with them because they gave us the best price on our windows around the house. It took them about a week later than quoted for them to come out, which was fine. They did a good job, no complaints on that. We then later wanted them to come out to replace a window that broke on one of our vehicles. They said no problem and gave us a reasonable quote on it. They said they'd be down in a few days and fix it. A few days went by and they were a no show. We called and asked about it about a week after they said they'd be there. They said they totally forgot about it, and was not apologetic about it at all. He then said they'll be out later that week; and yet again, they were a no show. I ended up going to another place, and had it done that very day for around the same price quoted. So, if you'd like a reasonable deal, a decent job and a chance of them not coming or forgetting about you, then this is the glass company for you! read more

We had an incident happen at my work & needed a broken window fixed immediately. They arrived 15-20 mins after I called them, they cleaned up all of the broken glass, and boarded up the area where the broken window was. They ordered our office a new window & came back out to install it 2 days later, just like they said they would. Very professional, clean & reliable!
