This lady is a joke! I was out in the parking lot from 9:20am seeing how she was supposed to open up at 9:30. She shows up 5 mins after 10am and starts moping the floors... I tell her I need a pedicure and a full set. She sets me up for a pedi in cold water while she runs around the place getting everything started. 2 other women walk in for a pedicure and she gets them started as well. I'm still sitting there with my feet soaking in cold water while the lady at the other end is yelling that her water is too hot!. She proceeds to go and fix the other woman's water temp, then starts on her pedi... Like HELLO woman! I have been waiting first. The massage chair was old and run down, the massager didn't work, no charger port on it, and the cup holder was broken so I had to hold my drink that I brought on my lap!. I just dried my feet off and walked out. She really messed up my mood! A new spot on Mineral Springs down the street just opened up a few weeks ago, so I am here now writing this review while getting exceptional service! California nails is unhygienic, unprofessional, and the worse nail spot I have ever been to! read more

Sloppy, over whelming chemical smell, slow service. What a horrible experience. I went for a gel pedicure and dip polish change. The two services exceeded 2.5 hrs and majority of that time was waiting IN the chair for the tech who was bouncing between three clients. The results were so sloppy, my dip nails started to chip within 2 days and by day 8 most were damaged badly. I am not in a laborious profession, and have been getting my nails done in gel/dip for over two years and I have never had such a poor experience at a salon. After not coming here for many months, I was in a time crunch and tried to give them one last try. BIG mistake. The tech absolutely butchered my fingers around the nail beds (photo attached of the worst & most painful one) and my fingers are extremely sore today. I will never come here again. Got a refill on Thursday, had 9 nails by Friday and woke up with only 8 by Saturday. Did not last at all, acrylic minimal and shaved down too much. Girl that did my pedicure rushed. I also only seen the other pedicurist wipe the seat down after a client did not see anyone doing nails do such. The workers were nice and the shop is cleaned and organized. I spent $42 for a gel pedicure and was highly disappointed. The polish isn't smooth. It's looks very lumpy and uneven. You can tell the person who was doing it was rushed. If I wasn't pressed for time I would've stayed to have it fixed. Overall, the quality of their service isn't great. read more

This nail salon hasn't even been open for a month. I walked in for a fill, just to try them out. I needed my nails cut down and reshaped as well. I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door with a smiling face. I looked around, & the place was decorated BEAUTIFULLY! The prices are fair which is always important. The owner was the one who did my nails (I forgot his name but he sits at the chair closest to the register), & he did an amazing job. He was very friendly and personable. He offered me a drink when I had to wait a couple minutes for my turn. & after my service, I was given a $5 Gift Card towards my next visit. I personally loved it. Worst nail salon ever! Went to have my dip powder removed at 6:04 pm. The lady was rushing and using the electric nail file to remove the dip powder and was going so fast she cuts my cuticles. Then she proceeds to have me dip my hole hand in acetone to remove. Don't you wrap them!!! Anyways it stung. How bad and unprofessional. I told the lady what she did was stupid! read more

I am extremely disappointed in the service I received at this salon today. Just for background, I am a female and have been to this spa a few times and never had a complaint... However, today I brought my male friend with me and was treated completely different. Right off the bat, they told me to pick my color and when my male friend went with me to pick a color, they "jokingly" said "not for you!" and when we both stopped in our tracks with a look of disgust and confusion, they proceeded to laugh it off in a joking manner. We decided to stay because we had traveled a good distance to get our nails done. As we are getting pedicures, the staff continues to walk by and give us dirty looks and even asked my male friend multiple times which color he was choosing, even though he already said he wasn't getting a color after being discouraged by the workers. They continued to talk amongst themselves about us (as i understand a tiny bit of Vietnamese) and when we pulled out our cash to pay, they changed their tone completely and graciously thanked us. I will never be returning - and if I didn't have a moral compass, I would've walked out without paying because that's how uncomfortable we felt. Please do yourself a favor and support a deserving salon/small business. read more

Called yesterday around 2pm to schedule an appointment later that day at 4:15. We walked in at 4:15, the store was packed and not one person looked up to greet us or see what we were looking for. I mentioned to the man "Boo" or "Boom" that we had an appointment for 4:15 and he asks "are you sure you had an appointment?" At this point I'm aggravated because it's 4:25 and we're still waiting. Another 8 minutes go by and I'm just ready to leave. So, I go up to the desk and ask the woman at the computer if I can reschedule and she just tells me take a card and call. Didn't bother to go in the computer and take my name down or anything of the sort. Their service is horrible, and I definitely DEFINITELY do not recommend anyone going here...unless money is tight and you're desperate. read more

This place opened about a year ago and was the best place around top notch!!! Unfourtunately the entire buisness has currently gone down the drain. It was absolutely my go to place. The help was great. Currently they got a new male nail tech and have lost about 4 really good ones. I don't really know why. I would have absolutely recommended this nail salon and actually already have a few friends that I've sent. But to be honest ill be looking for a new one!! Update: the gel on my nails completely popped up when I tried to open a soda today. By the end of the day, 3 nails had popped off.

My nieces had went to the nail salon with there friend and their friends mom and was told they were too old for glitter and had utensils thrown at them and while they were getting there nails done the woman then was squeezing there fingers I'm giving this nail salon a 1 star due to the fact that they don't know how to act with little kids I've been getting glitter on my nails since I was 5yrs old I'll be damned if someone told my kids that and mind you there was 4 kids there between the ages 11 & 10. read more

The first time I went in I did so bc it was convenient to my location. Christine took care of me and did my nails very nice. She actually took her time bc it was my first time there. The second time I called and spoke to her and asked if she was available to do my fill, she said "yes of course ill do your nails how long" When I got there they had me wait about 30 mins and she passed me down to someone else (MIND YOU I CALLED IN ADVANCE TO MAKE SURE I GOT WHO I CALLED FOR), AND the way she did my nails let me tell you that the polish looked thick and uneven and I wanted two nails with glitter but they convinced me to get stickers why did they leave me waiting about 40 mins to go do some pedis FOR PEOPLE THAT GOT THERE LONG AFTER ME instead of finishing my two nails which would have took less than ten mins. I left pissed NO GLITTER NO STICKERS... A week later a nail breaks so I go back for that nail and change my color but brought my sister and daughter for pedis. Its hot as hell there BTW but it was empty so I figured we'd be in and out but about 30 mins later we are still waiting and someone walks in for a fill asks if for availability and was sat right down. smh so I walked out... I run a cell phone store so I know how to multi task and prioritize but we do so to get people on their way happy and not keep them waiting. you don't leave a 10 minute job unfinished to start another one that will take you longer than the one you have yet to finish... I honestly don't know why this place is only rated two stars. I've gone to many different nail salons & most of the workers are always talking about the customers in their own language. This place makes me feel really comfortable and they make your time there all about you. I always get gel manicure and my nails are always on point and they last me a long time. They also make sure they find time to fit you in. They are reliable and professional with amazing atmosphere. All the workers do a good job doing your nails. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! I normally go to Metro Nails but I was in the area & walked in for a fill because the place looked nice & i wanted to support a local business. I walked in mid day the place was pretty much empty. The woman who did my nails sat all the way to the back and was horrible. She was huffing & puffing while roughly cutting my nails without asking me what I wanted. She took 2 phone calls & both of those calls left her in a worse mood than she was already in. When she finished filing my nails on my right hand I asked her to please reshape them as they looked NOTHING like the shape I had when I walked in, she seemed annoyed by the request. When she moved on to file my left hand she left them shaped completely different than my right hand smh... when I told her I did not like the shape on the left hand and how thin she had left them she complained to a co-worker in her language and when i asked her if I needed a new person because she seems to have had an attitude since the moment i walked and seemed bothered to be doing my nails her demeanor changed a little bit. She tried to fix my nails leaving them looking sloppy with acrylic on the bottom and shorter than my other hand. I am not normally one to complain but this place was terrible. Getting your nails done is a treat most women give themselves & it should be a pleasant & relaxing experience not one leaving you in a bad mood because your nail tech was being a jerk & sloppy acting like she was doing you a favor!
